NMT-1100 Multi-Function Media Recorder
- AV (Audio/Video) connectors and inputs.
- Insert the AV cable connectors into the main unit’s inputs and external device’s outputs, making sure to plug in according to the corresponding colors (yellows/white/red).
- HDMI output port (HDMI cable not included).
- External device with an HDMI input port.
- USB port (USB drive not included).
- Reads USB drive and records all files to DVD-ROM.
- DC IN-5V/3A power input port.
- Power adapter.
- Insert the power adapter into an AC 110V-220V power outlet.
- SD card port (SD card not included).
- Reads SD card and records all files to DVD-ROM.

Enter the main menu. Use the device’s up & down keys to tieless “Video/USB/Card DVD”.

Press “ENTER” to corm.
The selections “Video/USB/Card” will appear. -
Insert a blank disc into the DVD Drive. Connect the unit and external device with the AV cable.

Select input “AV in”. (Prompt:“Video DVD”, recording quality”, and “remaining time” will appear.)

Press record (the red button) to start recording.

Press “STOP” to end the recording. A “Burning” status will appear.

Wait for burning to be completed. he disc will eject automatically after it is complete.

To exit the current menu, press RETURN”. o go back to the main menu, press “RETURN” repeatedly until the main menu is reached.
USB to DVD-ROM
- Insert a blank disc (the screen will say “No Disc” if read wrong). Insert a USB drive.
- Enter the main menu. Use the up & down keys on the unit to select “Video/USB/Card DVD”.3. Press “ENTER” to corm. These lections “Video/USB/Card” will appear.
- Select the USB input. (Prompt: “Copy les from USB to DVD” and“Press REC to start recording” will appear.)

Memory Card to DVD-ROM

Insert a blank disc (make sure it is read correctly)*, then insert Memory Card**.

Enter the main menu. Use thump & down keys on the unit to select “Video/USB/Card DVD”.

Press “ENTER” to corm.
The selections “Video/USB/Card” will appear. -
Select input “Card”.
(Prompt: “Copy les from SD to DVD” and “Press REC to start recording” will appear.) -
Press record to start recording.

Prompt: “Burn les” displays visual progress bar. Burning speed depends on the size of the les.

AV IN TO USB
- Insert AV cable into unit’s inputs and external device’s outputs. Insert a USB drive.
- Enter main menu and select “Videos’/Card”.
- Select output “USB”. (Prompt: “Video USB”, recording quality”, and remaining time will appear.)
- Press record to start recording.
- Press the “STOP” key to stop recording. A “Burning” status will appear. When burning is completed, prompt: “Burning noshed, please press return” will appear.
- To exit the current menu, press RETURN”.
To go back to the main menu, rests “RETURN” repeatedly until main menu is displayed.
AV Into Memory Card

Insert AV cable into unit’s inputs and external device’s outputs.
Insert a Memory Card. -
Enter main menu and select “idea — USB/Card”.

Select output “Card”.
(Prompt: “Video SD”, recording quality”, and “remaining time” will appear.) -
Press record to start recording.

Press the “STOP” key to stop recording and a “Burning” status will appear. When burning is completed, prompt: “Burning noshed, please press return” will appear.

To exit the current menu, press “RETURN”.
To go back to the main menu, press “RETURN” repeatedly until main menu is displayed.
DVD to USB
- Insert your DVD and insert a USB drive.
- Enter main menu and select “D V CD/D USB/Card”.
- Select output “USB”. (Prompt: “DVD USB”, “Copy all les from DVD-ROM to the storage”, and “Press REC to start recording” will appear.)
- Press record to start recording.
- Prompt: “copy les to new wohslliwyalpsid ” … yrotcerid a progress bar.
- When copying is completed, prompt: “Burning noshed, please press return” will display.
- To exit the current menu, press “RETURN”.
To go back to the main menu, press “RETURN” repeatedly until main menu is displayed.
DVD to Memory Card
- Insert your DVD and insert a Memory Card.
- Enter main menu and select “D V CD/D USB/Card”.
- Select output “Card”. (Prompt: “DVD SD”, “Copy all les from DVD-ROM to the storage” and “Press REC to start recording” will appear.)
- Press record to start recording.
- Prompt: “copy les to new directory…” Display will show a progress bar.
- When copying is completed, prompt: “Burning noshed, pleasers return” will display.
- To exit the current menu, press “RETURN”.
To go back to the main menu, press “RETURN” repeatedly until main menu is displayed.
CD Memory Memory CD
This function allows to user to copy the content from a CD to another CD-R or CD-RW.

Prepare the CD to record and a blank CD.

Insert the CD to record into DVD ROM.

Follow the steps as shown below:

Once the copy is finish, ‘copy finish’ message appears,press repeatedly [RETURN] to back domain menu, press [EJECT] button to sort out the CD.
The content of CD is saved temporary into the internal storage. -
Place a new blank CD-R or CD-RW into DVD ROM and wait 15 seconds till the recorder reads the CD, then follow the steps as below:

Once the burning is finished, the CD will be automatically ejected, press repeatedly to back to main menu.
CD USB/SD Card + USB/ SD Card CD
This function allows users to copy the content from a CD to a USB or SD card copy the content from a CD to USB/SD card, then copy the content from USB/SD card to a CD.
CD USB or SD card
Before recording, make sure the capacity of USB or SD Card is bigger than the
CD.
- Prepare the CD to record and USB or SD card
- Insert the CD into DVD-Rom and wait 15 seconds till the recorder reads the CD.
- Plug the USB into USB port or insert the SD card to card slot, then follow the steps as shown below
Choose ‘CD/DVD USB/Card’
*If you choose to copy the CD to a SD card, choose CARD
4. Then press repeatedly [RETURN] to back to main menu.
USB / SD a New CD
Before recording,
– Make sure the content in USB or SD card is copied from an original CD by
following steps above.
– Make sure that capacity of CD-R or CD-RW is big enough for storing all music
files in USB or SD Card.
- Plug in the USB into USB port or insert the SD card from card slot.
- Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into DVD-Rom and wait 15 seconds till the recorder reads the CD. Then follow the steps as shown belowIf you choose to copy from a SD card to CD, please choose CARD here
- Once the burning is finished, the CD will be automatically ejected, press repeatedly [RETURN] to back to main menu.
Media Player
- Enter main menu and select “Media Player”.
- Use the up & down keys on the unit to select the output source.
- Press “ENTER” to start playing.
- Operation during playback:

Next Page; UP button =
Previous Page; “RETURN” = Exit.
(b) Music play: “ENTER” =
Pause/Play; “RETURN” = Exit.
(c) Video display: Screen will show all videos, current video, current video time, and play progress.
– LEFT button = Volume (-); RIGHT button = Volume (+).
– UP button = Previous video; DOWN button = next video
– “ENTER” = Pause/Play; “RETURN” = Exit.
Recording Format
Mp4-MP4 can be played on PC and some ordinary DVD players. It can also be
easily uploaded tonsorial media and sharing sites via PC.
MPG-MPG (MPEG2 video code) can be played on some Blu-ray players, as well as
ordinary DVD players and PC.
- Enter the main menu. Use the up & down keys on the unit to select “Setup”.
- Press “ENTER” to confirm. The selection “Recording Format” will appear.
- Select input “Recording Format”. The selection options are “MP4” and “MPG”. Select the desired format. Press “ENTER” to confirm.
- DATA burn types are primarily for PC playback, limited to some DVD and Blu-ray players.
** VIDEO burn types can be played across all three mediums (MPG mores than MP4 in regards to Blu-ray).
Multi-Function Media Recorder Recording Information
- To get started, you must first identify and connect the original source file you wish to burn to the Naxa multi-function media recorder. Then insert a blank disc.
- Once ready, you will be prompted to select the format with which you wish to record, MPG or MP4, as well as the quality you wish the recording to be, High Quality, Medium Quality, or Low Quality. Both MPG and MP4 are the most commonly used digital video formats.
Key factors of the two are as follows:
- MPG is a much smaller file size, while still maintaining good quality.
- MP4 is of a higher quality.
- Both are supported across various hard-ware devices and on the internet.
- MPG works more widely on Blu-ray players.
- Next, you will be asked to choose between two burn types, DATA or VIDEO. DATA burns are primarily used if you desire playback on computers, as well as some DVD players. VIDEO burns allow you to play your burned disc on computers, DVD players, as well as some Blu-ray players.
- The device will then begin to record your desired content in real-time for a set time, or the full maximum allowed time, see chart below for approximate times on recording capacity.
- Once recorded, the device will then burn the content onto your inserted blank disc. Burn times vary.

Mobile phone APP connect with media recorder operation instructions
1. iOS and Android APP instructions
1.1 Searching ‘Friendly Memories’ from APP Store or Google Play Store.
1.2 Media recorder will create a WiFi hotspot ‘DVD_SERVER_XXXX’ automatically while power on, find this WiFi hotspot from your mobile phone on setting and connect to it, initial password is 12345678.
2. Insert USB, DVD, or SD card that have the media files that you want to
transfer between your mobile phone and Media Player.
Enter Friendly Memories to manage the files of mobile phone and media
recorder.
2.1 Enter “Phone” to access video, photo, music, and document.
Note: In order to access the files, user needs to use the upper right corner
icon “Upload” to upload the files from phone to APP.
2.2 Enter “Burner” to access Media Player which includes U Disk, SD card, and
DVD.
2.3 User can view or play the media files.
Select from source “Phone”, select from Video,
Photo, Music, or Documents folder, then click on the file to view or play it.
Select from source “Burner”, select from U Disc, SD card, or DVD, select from
Video, Photo, Music, or Document where the media files are to be viewed or
played.
Note: Some file will require the Phone to use third party app to view or play
the file.
3. Users can upload the pictures and videos in the phone album to the U Disc,
SD card, and DVD disc on the media recorder.
3.1 Tap “Upload” icon on the upper right corner of the page.
3.2 Enter Upload photo/Upload video and select the pictures and video files
you need to upload to the U disk, SD card, or DVD disc on the media recorder.
Enter Upload file to enter the file system of the phone and select PDF and
other documents to upload to the U disk, SD card, or DVD disc on the media
recorder.
Tap Upload icon in upper right corner and the file storage path will pop up.
4. User can enter the mobile phone APP and select files from U disk, SD card,
or DVD disc on media recorder to download to mobile phone.
The download files are saved in the corresponding folder of the phone of the
APP.
5. User can copy and move files between U disk, SD card, and DVD disc.
Transferring files from USB to SD or DVD Select the file.
Click “edit” on the top right
Click on the file(s)
Select the desired action from the bottom of the page “Copy to” – copy files
to SD or DVD
“Move to” – move files to SD or DVD (moving files will delete file(s) from the
source
“Download” – download file to your phone or tablet “Delete” – delete file(s)
Transferring files from DVD to USB or SD is the same procedure for USB to SD
or DVD with only “copy to” and “Download” option
6. Enter from the setting icon in the upper left corner of the APP, you can reset the WiFi hotspot name and password.
