Preferred Settings-Overall
- Overall Settings
♦ Light Source Settings. (Default: Normal)
• Change to Dynamic Eco Mode: Way better image and contrast.
♦ Low Latency Mode (Default: Off)
• If enabled will disable any warping or digital keystone correction.
♦ HFR(High Frame Rate) capability 120 or 240 Hz refresh rates.
• Can be enabled in the gaming mode.
• It will disable warping and digital Keystone correction.
• Does not support 1440P type sources like PS5.
Preferred Settings-SDR
- SDR (Default: Natural, 7500 and 2.2 Gamma)
♦ Change Color Temp to 6500. 7500 is brighter but to bluish.
♦ Change Gamma to 2.4. Will give you better black detail/contrast in a dedicated theater.
♦ Calibrated white balance will improve the image.
Preferred Settings-HDR
- HDR (Default: Cinema, 6500 and Picture Tone=+1)
♦ HDR does not have any auto level adjust. Customer needs to select preferred Picture Tone setting for each title.
♦ If darker skin tones are too red, reduce red saturation in CMS a few clicks.
♦ Picture Tone (-2 to +2)
• +1 is a good default position.
♦ Ensure source is outputting 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 colorspace.
Preferred Settings-Gaming
- Gaming (SDR Default: Gaming 7500K, 2.2 Gamma)
♦ Leave settings at Default for brighter Image.
♦ Low Latency Mode should be turned on for HFR sources.
• Warping and Digital Keystone will be disabled.
Calibration
- Out of the box.
♦ White point is more to the cooler(bluish) side. White balance will improve the image.
♦ Color Gamut is barely Rec. 709.
• Blue Primary is very deep.
• Red and Green Primary need to be towed in for tighter coverage.
