IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

BUTTON PANEL
MENU: Display Main Menu
VOL – : Leftward Selection Decrease Volume
Vol + : Rightward Selection Increase Volume
CH+: Upward Selection Next Channel/Track/Station
CH-: Downward Selection Previous Channel/Track/Station
SOURCE: Select Source Input (ATSC/AV/HDMI/PC-RGB/USB/CARD/ FM Radio)
ENTER: Confirm Selection FM Radio Station Automatic Search
REMOTE CONTROL BASIC OPERATION
NOTE: Aim the remote directly at the infrared receiver located on the
bottom left corner of the television Do not drop, wet, or disassemble the
remote control Allow at least a 2 seconds interval between each button press.
MENU BUTTON
Channel Menu

Press the MENU or SETUP button
-
Using the up and down arrows, select “CHANNEL” and press ENTER
-
Air/Cable will be highlighted
-
Using the left and right arrows, select the Air setting for over-the-air channels, or the Cable setting for cable channels.

Press the down arrow to select Auto Scan for the digital tuner to automatically detect channels
-
A prompt will ask you to confirm the Auto Scan; press the left arrow to cancel, the right arrow to confirm
-
Once the Auto Scan is complete, use CH+/CH- to navigate through the channels
-
If you have installed a masthead amplifier on your aerial pole (not included) for better signal reception, turn the 5V Antenna Power setting to On.

Select DTV signal for digital television signals.(Please note that to receive HD cable networks, such as ESPN, ARE, Discovery, Food Network, etc. or to receive HD On Demand programming, you will need a cable connection and an HD Set-Top Box, CableCARD'” or Digital Adapter.)
To set favorite channels for easy access, select “FAVORITE” and press ENTER. A list of all the channels will appear on the screen. To set your favorites, press ENTER on the highlighted channel. When a channel has been set to favorite, a heart will appear next to it. To access favorite channels, simply press the FAV button on the remote control.
Picture Menu
- With the up and down arrow buttons ,select the desired setting you wish to edit
- The left, right and the enter buttons allow you to change the highlighted setting.
Contrast adjusts the black level of the image Brightness: adjusts the luminance of the image Color adjusts the color saturation of the image Sharpness: adjusts edge sharpness Tint adjusts the level of green and magenta of the image Color Temperature: adjusts the warmth or coolness of the image Aspect Ratio : adjusts the height and width ratio of the image Noise Reduction: adjusts the cleanliness of the image Screen: Adjust screen position.
- Once you are satisfied with the changes, press the MENU button to return to the previous menu, or the RETURN button to exit the Menu.
Sound Menu
- With the up and down arrow buttons ,select the desired setting you wish to edit
- The left, right and the enter buttons allow you to change the highlighted setting.
Balance adjusts the level of sound coming from the left and right speaker.
Auto Volume avoids volume fluctuation when changing the channels.
Surround sound allows for a more even distribution of sound across the television’s speakers.
- Once you are satisfied with the changes, press the MENU button to return to the previous menu, or the RETURN button to exit the Menu.
Time Menu

With the up and down arrow buttons, select the desired setting you wish to edit.

Select “CLOCK” and press ENTER to manually set up the time and date in the Clock Menu. Once you have adjusted the time and date, press MENU to return to the Time Menu.

The left, right and enter buttons allow you to change the highlighted setting

Once you are satisfied with the changes, press the MENU button to return to the previous menu, or the RETURN button to exit the Menu
Off Time will allow to set up a time on which the TV will turn off automatically.
On Time will allow to set up a time on which the TV will turn on automatically.
Sleep Timer will allow to set up a timer for the TV to go to sleep when no activity has been detected for the amount of time chosen.
Auto Sleep allows for automatic power off of the system (4/6/8 Hours, Never) Auto Sync will automatically set time and date.
Time Zone allows for the system to automatically set date and time according to your time zone ( Atlantic/Eastern/Central/Mountain/Pacific/Alaska/Hawaii).
Option Menu
- With the up and down arrow buttons ,select the desired setting you wish to edit
- The left, right and the enter buttons allow you to change the highlighted setting.
OSD LANGUAGE allows you to choose the preferred displayed language.
MTS (Multi-Channel Television Sound) lets you select between Mono/Stereo/ Secondary Audio Program (SAP) (usually a foreign language translation of the program you are watching; most often in Spanish or French, if available).
SETUP WIZARD allows you to setup the language, time zone and channels of your televisions.
RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT will format your settings to factory defaulted settings.
- For closed captioning, select Close Caption and press ENTER, a sub-menu will appear on the display allowing you to setup close captioning and adjust its appearance.To return to the previous menu, press the MENU button until you reach the desired menu window.
Lock Menu

If you wish to seta password to lock certain channelswith ratings, press the left, right or enter button to select “ON” on the “LOCK SYSTEM” setting
PICTURE SOUND O TIME -
To set a password, select “SET PASSWORD” and press ENTER; you will be prompted to set a password.

To lock ratings, select US or Canada according to your location.

Select TV or MPAA to choose the ratings you wish to lock with a password

Once you are satisfied with the changes, press the Menu button to return to the previous menu window.
US allows you to set ratings according to US guidelines (TV or MPAA) Canada) allows you to set ratings according to Canadian guidelines (English or French Canada)
RRT Settings, when available, will let you view most up-to-date parental controls and choose your desired settings.

- Press “INPUT” to display the input sources
- Press the up or down arrow keys to select the desired source and press ENTER to select.

The colors of the icons on the left top corner will help you ensure that your external has been properly connected. The icon will appear orange if the external device has been recognize, or gray if it hasn’t.

Press the left or right arrows to choose between “PHOTO/MUSIC/MOVIE /TEXT” and press ENTER to select.

Select the location of your file with the arrow keys, then press ENTER

If applicable, select the sub-location of your file and press ENTER to select and play.
To Play Your Media
- Once in the desired mode (photo, music, movie or text), use the left and right arrows to select the desired control on the bottom controls bar.
- A blue stroke around the control will indicate that it has been selected.
- Press ENTER to select the highlighted control.
- Press RETURN to go back to the sub-location window.

**TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue | Reason |

No image or sound | Improper connection of the AC adapter or car charger; |
using incompatible power or power switch set to “OFF
No Signal| The correct channel may not have been selected; channels need to be

No Sound| Volume may be down; mute may be toggled on; headphones may by

Pixelated Image| Ensure that the brightness and contrast are ad- justed
