GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
TO REDUCE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK,CAREFULLY OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

Do not cover the ventilation slots on the top of the charger. Do not set the charger on a soft surface i.e. blanket, pillow. Keep the ventilation slots of the charger clear.

Confirm the voltage availability at each country location before using the charger.

If the shape of the plug does not fit the power outlet, use an attachment plug adaptor of the proper configuration for the power outlet.

DO NOT allow liquid inside the charger.

DO NOT try to use the charger for any other purpose than what is presented in this manual.

Unplug the charger and remove the battery pack before cleaning.

Do not try to connect two chargers together.

Do not use the charger in the circumstances that the output polarity does not match the load polarity.

Do not place the battery pack in the sun or in a warm environment. Keep at normal room temperature between 6˚C (43°F) and 40˚C (104°F).

Do not allow small metal items or material such as steel wool, aluminum foil, or other foreign particles into the charger cavity.

Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries with the charger.

Before using battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on battery charger, battery, and product using battery.

CAUTION – To reduce risk of injury, use only 2173664 or Rubbermaid 60V series approved replacement batteries. Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage.

CAUTION – This appliance is not intended for use by children or anyone under the age of 18, and by persons 18+ with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. -
If the cord set is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord set available form the manufacturer or its service agent.
WARNING
To avoid risk of fire, electrical shock, or electrocution:
- Do not use a damp cloth or detergent on the battery or battery charger.
- Keep battery away from water and water sources.
- Always remove the battery pack before cleaning, inspecting, or performing any maintenance on the tool.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
- Appliance shall not emit harmful radiation or present a toxic or similiar hazard due to their operation in normal use.
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

RISK LEVELS
The following signal words and meanings are intended to explain the levels of risk associated with this product.

OPERATION
6.1 CHARGE PROCEDURE
NOTE
Before use charge the battery pack fully to make sure that the battery pack
can get the maximum run time. This battery pack does not have a memory. You
can charge it all the time.
- Connect the plug of charger (2) to an AC power outlet.
- Put the battery pack (1) into the charger (2).
This is a diagnostic charger. The Charger LED Light (3) illuminates in a
specified order to show the current battery status. They are as follows:

Put the battery pack into the charger.
• If the status LED blinks RED, remove the battery pack from the charger for 1 minute. -
Put the battery pack into the charger again.
• If the status LED blinks GREEN, the battery pack is good.
• If the status LED stays blinking RED, remove the battery pack and disconnect the charger. -
Wait for 1 minute and put the battery pack into the charger again.
• If the status LED blinks GREEN, the battery pack is good.
• If the status LED stays blinking RED, the battery pack is defective and it is necessary to replace the battery pack.
6.2 EXAMINE THE CHARGER
If the battery pack does not charge correctly:
- Examine the current of the power outlet with different machines. Make sure that the outlet works.
- Examine the charger contacts to ensure they are not short-circuited.
- If the charger is not under usual room temperature, move the charger and battery pack to a location where the temperature is between 6° C to 40° C (42.8° F to 104°F) .
WARNING
If you attempt to charge the battery pack in a warm or hot environment, and
the charger LED light is red, remove the battery pack and let the battery cool
for approximately 30 minutes.
MAINTENANCE
7.1 CLEAN THE CHARGER
NOTE
Keep the air vent free of blockage, saw dust, and wood dust.
Do not spray, wash, or submerge in water.
- Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a vacuum.
- Clean housing and the plastic components with a soft, dry cloth.
IMPORTANT
Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic housing or components.
7.2 STORE THE MACHINE
- Remove the battery pack before you store the charger or disconnect the charger.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Products and Motorized Product Accessories
Rubbermaid Commercial Products LLC warrants that for a period of two years
from the date of purchase by the original end-user purchaser, the items listed
below will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Rubbermaid
Commercial Products LLC, at its option, will replace, free of charge with
postage costs paid for (excluding any costs associated with packaging the
defective item back to the manufacturer), the item or any component of the
item found to be defective during the warranty period. Keep the original sales
receipt, invoice or other proof of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to
obtain warranty replacement. This limited warranty is valid only for units
which
have been maintained in accordance with the instructions in the owners’ manual
supplied with the newly purchased product.

How long does the coverage last?
The limited warranty lasts two years from the date of initial purchase. Proof
of purchase is required to obtain warranty replacement.
What will Rubbermaid Commercial Products do?
For a period of two years from the date of purchase, if an item in the table
set forth above proves defective in material and workmanship during normal use
by the purchaser of this product, Rubbermaid Commercial Products will replace
the item or any component of the item found to be defective during the
warranty period with a new or remanufactured replacement part at no cost to
the purchaser. If the item is no longer available, then replacement will be
made with a similar item of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive
warranty.
What does this warranty not cover?
The warranty applies only to the original end-user purchaser/owner from the
date of initial purchase and is not transferrable (excepted where prohibited
by local law, which may include the Province of Quebec). Do NOT attempt to
repair or modify the items to remedy any damage or defect covered by this
limited warranty. Rubbermaid Commercial Products LLC reserves all rights to
decline coverage if the defect or damage was caused by unauthorized attempts
to repair or modify the item. All failures or defects must be reported within
the warranty period. Any use of the product for purposes other than its
intended use will void this limited warranty. Damage caused as a result of
use above capacity limits of the product are not covered by this limited
warranty. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear or damage resulting
negligent use or misuse, disassembly, repair, or modification, or from storing
the unit outside of recommended shady, cool and dry environments. Rubbermaid
Commercial Products LLC expressly excludes from this limited warranty and
denies liability for defects or damage caused by repair or modification.
How do you get warranty support?
RCP will issue a replacement of the item or any component of the item found to
be defective when the consumer provides a proof of purchase (either a bill of
sale, receipted invoice, or other proof that the product is within the
warranty period), along with a full description of the defect, to

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern. RCP reserves the right to
request photographic proof of product defect, and request that the defective
product in question be shipped to RCP (postage provided by RCP) to inspect the
product or to aid in quality control efforts.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WRITTEN
OR ORAL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.
THE PURCHASER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR OF ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OR OF ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR
OTHERWISE SHALL BE LIMITED AS SPECIFIED HEREIN TO REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT.
IN ANY EVENT, RESPONSIBILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
IS EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.
