FAQs
What is the measurement range of this product?****
It can measure temperatures from 32°F to 107°F.
Who invented the digital thermometer?****
The digital thermometer had a patent taken out for it in 1973 by F. Mueller, B. Martin, J.
What is the structure of a digital thermometer?****
A digital thermometer includes a sensing case, a display case, and an electronic control unit. The sensing case includes a sensing rod at its front end and a core portion at its rear end where a window is formed on the core portion.
Which sensor is used in a digital thermometer?****
A digital thermometer uses thermistor resistance that varies with temperature. An infrared thermometer uses a pyroelectric sensor, composed of pyroelectric film and circuitry within a housing filled with dry air or nitrogen, to generate an electrical charge in response to a change in its temperature.
What is the limit of a digital thermometer?****
Electronic thermometers are relatively easy to use and measure temperatures from 31.6°-42.2° C in predictive mode and from 26.7°-42.2° C in continuous mode. The low range available in continuous mode makes this device useful for measuring temperature in hypothermic patients.
Does a digital thermometer have high accuracy?****
A digital thermometer is the most accurate and quickest way to take a temperature. Digital thermometers are available in most drug stores and supermarket pharmacies.
Do digital thermometers have memory?****
Ear and forehead digital thermometers are considered safe, accurate, and convenient. Some also have an inbuilt memory system so readings can be recorded for later use, such as when consulting a healthcare professional.
How do you clean a digital thermometer?****
Use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean the inside of any small crevices. Allow the alcohol to air-dry on the thermometer to effectively kill germs. You can rinse the device under cool water to remove any traces of alcohol, taking care not to wet the electronic elements, such as the display.
Do digital thermometers lose accuracy?****
The markings on your tape measure or measuring cup don’t change over time, but thermometers can actually lose their accuracy over time.
What time of thermometer is most accurate?****
The most accurate thermometers are first rectal, then oral. Generally, the farther you get outside the body, the less sensitive your reading will be.
Why do digital thermometers give different readings?****
Differences between measurements can also result from the following factors: The thermometer is not the same temperature as the room you are measuring in (For example it has been in a much warmer or colder room). The thermometer is inserted into the ear canal at a different depth or angle.
Is A digital thermometer waterproof?****
It is a probe-type Digital Thermometer used for oral, rectal, and underarm temperature measurements with great precision. The unique design of Infi check thermometer makes it 100 % waterproof.
