WILFA GLACIER ICE MAKER ICM1-600
Product Overview
The Wilfa Glacier Ice Maker ICM1-600 is an appliance designed to make ice cubes quickly and efficiently. It has a transparent lid, ice collecting tray, water tank, control panel, front and rear housing, air vent, ice shovel board, and ice scoop.
Control Panel
The control panel includes four indicator lights: Ice Full, Add Water,
Clean, and Ice Making. To use the ice maker, plug in the power cord and press
the START/PAUSE button. The small ice indicator light flashes green, and the
machine is in standby mode. Press the button again to select the size of the
ice cubes. The corresponding indicator light will light up for a long time,
and the machine will start producing ice cubes.
How to Use
To use the Wilfa Glacier Ice Maker ICM1-600, open the lid and take out the
ice collecting tray. Add water to the container, making sure not to exceed the
maximum water level indicator. Plug in the power cord and press the
START/PAUSE button to start the machine. If the Add Water indicator light is
on, add more water to the container and press START/PAUSE again.
Cleaning
To clean the ice maker, unplug the appliance after using it or before
cleaning it. Clean surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible
drainage systems regularly. Clean the inner liner, ice collecting tray, water
tank, and ice scoop frequently. To activate the cleaning function, press the
START/PAUSE button for 2 seconds. The machine will enter cleaning mode, and
the four lights will flash alternately. Do not disconnect the power supply
during cleaning.
Troubleshooting
If the power cord is disconnected during an ice-making cycle or a power
failure occurs, small pieces of ice may form and lodge in the automatic
shovel, causing it to jam. To fix this, disconnect the power cord and gently
push the shovel to the rear of the cabinet to remove the ice cubes. Then,
restart the machine.

- The refrigerant isobutene (R600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is nevertheless flammable. During transportation and installation of the appliance, ensure that none of the components of the refrigerant circuit becomes damaged.
- If the refrigerant circuit should be damaged:
- Avoid opening flames and sources of ignition.
- Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Before using the Ice maker for the first time, please wait 2 hours after positioning it, and keep the lid open for at least 2 hours before turning it on.

During transportation, do not tilt the machine more than 45 degrees, and do
not reverse the machine. This may damage the compressor and the sealing system. -
Remove all packing materials, check the machine carefully, and make sure that the machine, power cord, and plug are normal.

The machine should be on a level surface. To ensure sufficient ventilation, the distance of the back of the ice maker to the wall should be at least 15cm, it should be away from the oven, radiator or another heat source. Keep the appliance 8cm from other objects on the sides to ensure good heat release.
Make sure that the home voltage is consistent with the voltage indicated by the machine. -
When the ambient temperature is lower than 15 degrees, please choose small ice. When the ambient temperature is higher than 30 degrees, it is recommended to choose large ice.

Do not use chemicals, or acidic or alkaline liquids to make ice.

Pure water is not allowed to be used on this unit, spring water is recommended.

It is normal for the compressor and condenser surface to reach temperatures between 70°C and 90°C during operation and surrounding areas may be very hot.

Due to fast freezing, ice cubes may be opaque. This is air trapped in the water and will not affect the quality or taste of ice.

Do not immerse in water.

Do not switch on the power button frequently (ensure 5min. intervals at least) to avoid damage of the compressor.

CONTROL PANEL
- ICE FULL: Ice full alarm indicator light
- ADD WATER: Water shortage alarm indicator light CLEAN: Large ice indicator light
- ICE MAKING: Small ice indicator light
- Plug in the power cord, the machine is in standby mode, and the small ice indicator light flashes green. Press the START/PAUSE button, and the indicator lights of small ice and large ice flash alternately. When the corresponding indicator lights up, press the START/PAUSE button again to choose the size, and the machine starts to work. The corresponding indicator lights up for a long time, and the ice cube production starts.
- CLEANING FUNCTION: Plug in the power cord, press the START/PAUSE button to start the machine, and then press the START/PAUSE button for 2 seconds. The machine enters the cleaning function, and the four lights flash alternately. Do not disconnect the power supply during cleaning. After cleaning, the machine will automatically enter standby mode.
- ADD WATER: When the “Add water” indicator light is on, it means that the water tank is empty. Add water and press the START/PAUSE button to restart the machine.
- ICE FULL: When the ice reaches the maximum amount of ice storage container, the ICE FULL indicator light is on and the machine stops. Remove the ice cubes. When the ice position is lower than the full sensor position, the machine will restart automatically.
HOW TO USE
- Open the lid and take out the ice collecting tray and add water to the container. Note: There is a maximum water level indicator in the container. The water should not exceed the level indicator. If the water exceeds the maximum line, you need to open the bottom drain plug, release the excess water, and close the lid.
- Plug in power, and press the START/PAUSE button to start the machine.
IMPORTANT
- For the three first cycles, the ice produced is small and irregular.
- When the ice collecting tray is full, please take out the ice immediately, do not let the ice overflow the ice collecting tray.
- If the compressor does not work due to lack of water, ice full, power failure, etc, it will delay for 3 minutes to start up after restarting.
CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance after using or before cleaning.
- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
- Clean the inner liner, ice collecting tray, water tank, and ice scoop frequently. When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove the ice cubes. Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Rinse thoroughly before use.
- After being idle for a period of time, the ice cube maker may not be able to pump enough water up for air blockage. In this case, the water shortage indicator light is displayed, just press the START/PAUSE button to restart the ice maker.
- To ensure the cleanness of ice, please change the water at least once one day. If you do not use it for a long time, please drain the water out and clean it.
- If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch it off and leave the door open to prevent mold from developing within the appliance.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Please note, if a power failure occurs due to disconnection of the power cord, or the power button has been pushed off during an ice-making cycle, small pieces of ice form and lodge in the automatic shovel causing it to jam. If this occurs, the ice cubes can be removed by disconnecting the power cord and gently pushing the shovel to the rear of the cabinet and removing the ice cubes, then restarting.
- Please check if the water container is flat when the ice shovel can not remove the ice to ice collecting tray. If not, please push the ice shovel gently by a finger, then press the START/PAUSE button to restart.
