Product Information
This product is a filter wall designed for installation in a 110mm rendered brick wall. The filter wall comes with packing shims and can be used with either PEX or copper tubing, which are not supplied. The product also includes four medium-duty brick ties that are pop riveted to the housing, and when mounted to the housing, the brick ties have a 4-degree angle. The suggested height for installation is not specified in the manual.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the installation meets Australian building standards.
- Identify the location on the wall where the filter wall will be installed and mark it.
- Using the wall opening dimensions provided in the manual, cut out the opening in the wall.
- Insert the packing shims into the opening in the wall.
- Insert PEX or copper tubing into the filter wall.
- Mount the filter wall onto the wall using the medium-duty brick ties that are pop riveted to the housing.
- Ensure that the brick ties have a 4-degree angle when mounted to the housing.
- Seal around the filter wall with sealant.
Note: The product manual provides two options for installation, but only option 1 (110mm rendered brick wall) is described in detail.
