Important Safeguards:

  • Read all instructions.
  • Do not sleep with excess slack in the Sleep Therapy Pillow’s speaker cord. Gather thloose cord and use a twist tie, rubber band or other fastener to secure excess cord ia tight bundle.
  • Do not use with infants. Take special care to keep the cord away from infants.
  • Do not use in or around water.
  • Do not operate with a damaged cord or after the unit malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use in pillow ! ghts.
  • The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as direct sunlight, radiators, heat registers, stoves or other heat-producing appliances.

Connecting Pillow To Electronic Sound Source

  • Your Sleep Therapy Pillow has removable stereo speakers already inserted inside the pillow for your convenience. These speakers may be easily removed when you want  to wash your pillow (please refer to section – Washing Your Sleep Therapy Pillow – for washing instructions).

  • To play music or sounds through your Sleep Therapy Pillow, simply connect the SPEAKER JACK to the sound output jack on your sound source.
    Note: If you are using a Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System, insert the SPEAKER JACK into the HEADPHONE JACK on your Sound Oasis Sound Therapy System.

  • Adjust the volume level and/or balance controls on your sound source.
    Note 1: If you cannot hear sound coming from your Sleep Therapy Pillow, check to ensure that the SPEAKER JACK is ! rmly inserted into the sound output jack on  your sound source.
    Note 2: If the sound output is mu% ed, # ip over your Sleep Therapy Pillow and try listening to the other side. You can use either side of your Sound Therapy Pillow.

Removing And Inserting Speakers
Your Sleep Therapy Pillow comes complete with two STEREO SPEAKERS and a unique SPEAKER SLEEVE that holds the STEREO SPEAKERS in place. HOOK &  LOOP CLOSURES seal the pillow at each end. Additionally, two HOOK & LOOP CLOSURES about four (4) inches (10 cm) inside the SPEAKER SLEEVE, at each end,  allow you to keep each speaker in place.

Removing Speakers:

  1. Where the SPEAKER JACK and cable exit the pillow, unfasten the OUTSIDE HOOK & LOOP CLOSURE and INSIDE HOOK & LOOP CLOSURE to open that  end of the pillow.
  2. Reach inside the SPEAKER SLEEVE at the opposite end and unfasten the INSIDE HOOK & LOOP CLOSURE.
  3. Pull the speakers and speaker cable completely out of the pillow.

Inserting Speakers:

  1. Open each end of the pillow by unfastening the OUTSIDE HOOK & LOOP CLOSURE at each end.
  2. Insert the speakers and cable into the SPEAKER SLEEVE at one end. Then pull the speakers and cable into the pillow from the opposite end.
  3. When speakers are positioned where you want them to be (normally between the hook and loop fasteners at each end of the pillow), press down on the hook and loop fasteners to securely close them.

Washing Your Sleep Therapy Pillow
Your Sleep Therapy Pillow can be machine or hand washed for easy care. Please follow these instructions for washing your pillow:
Machine Washing:
Machine wash your pillow in warm water, using a small amount of mild detergent. Use the gentle cycle (or the agitating cycle for only a minute or two). Once detergent is totally rinsed out, tumble-dry on low heat.
Hand Washing:
Your pillow can be washed in a large sink or bathtub using mild detergent and warm water. Be sure to rinse several times in cold water. Squeeze out the remaining water and  then air-dry the pillow.
Using Speakers With Other Pillows
The speakers included with your Sleep Therapy Pillow can be used with other pillows by simply placing the Sleep Therapy Pillow speakers underneath your other pillow.
