LED 36 Inch Light Kit with Motion
Sensor Instructions
Important Note: Make sure when installing the light kit that the motion sensor part of (A) is at the TOP as shown in image.
ADDING VELCRO T0 BACK OF LIGHT STRIPS
- Take three pairs of the (E) Large Velcro Strips.
- One at a time, remove the adhesive cover and place the adhesive onto the back side of (A) LED Light Strip (strip w/ sensor).
- Once all Velcro Strips have been applied (as shown in left image), remove adhesive covers on all three strips.
MOUNTING (A) LED LIGHT STRIP W/ MOTION SENSOR

Place (A) LED Light Strip (strip w/ motion sensor) on the inside Right/Hinge side – as close to the inner door frame as possible.
Important Notes When Mounting LED Light Strips: -
Ensure the Light Strips are offset – one should be higher than the other (does not matter which one) See Image.

Make sure Motion sensor is on the top when mounting. (Shown in Left image)

MOUNTING (B) LED LIGHT STRIP
Repeating Step 1 on (B) LED Light Strip:
- Add three (E) Large Velcro Strips to back of (B) LED Light Strip spaced out evenly.
- Once all Velcro Strips have been applied, remove adhesive covers & place on the inside left wall (as close to the inner door frame as possible).
- Remember to offset the strip from the other one.
(RECOMMENDED) – SCREWING IN LIGHT STRIPS
Screwing the Light Strips into the interior wall of the safe will NOT affect
the burglary or fire rating. This step is not required but is highly
recommended.
- Take the included screws (G) and simply screw them into the provided holes on both top and bottom of the LED light strips (shown in image).
CONNECTING CABLES TO LIGHT STRIPS
- Take (D) Connecting Cable, plug the female end of cord into the male end on the bottom of (A) LED Light Strip.
- With the male end of the (D) Connecting Cable, plug it into the female plug-in located at the bottom of (B) LED Light Strip (shown in image).
PLUGGING IN CONNECTED LIGHT KIT
- Plug the male end of (C) Power Adapter Cable into the female end hanging on the bottom of (A) LED Light Strip.
- if everything was connected correctly, both (A) & (B) LED Light Strips should turn on.
USING HANGING CLIPS TO HIDE CABLES
The way you can hide cables will vary depending on the safe. In some safes, you can hide the (D) Connecting Cable by tucking it under the floor board. In others (Stealth Safes), you can tuck it under a small lip on the inner edge.
- Feed (D) Connecting Cable through (H) Cable Hanging Clips and Remove adhesive cover on back of clips and place along walls of safe to organize the cord out of the way.
