Roof Transition

The Lindab Roof Transition is designed to provide a weatherproof seal between the upper and lower cardboard roof layers of a building. The product features a flange thickness of 0.9 mm and is designed for use with a sealant such as SabetoFIX PAP. The product can be mounted using cold glue or SabetoFIX PAP mounting glue. The Lindab Roof Transition is a registered trademark of Lindab AB, and its designations are protected by intellectual property rights (IPR). Please note that Lindab reserves the right to make changes to the product without prior notice.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the roof transition is the correct size for the hole in the roof. The hole size should be no more than 30 mm larger than the transition.
  2. Perform a fugue of 10-15 mm around the hole in the roof. This should be done by the roofer.
  3. Place the roof transition flange on top of the upper cardboard roof layer, with the lower cardboard roof layer placed underneath.
  4. Apply a sealant, such as SabetoFIX PAP, to create a weatherproof seal between the roof transition and the cardboard roof layers. A sealant may be included from the factory.
  5. Mount the roof transition using cold glue or SabetoFIX PAP mounting glue.
