Roof Transition
The Lindab Roof Transition is designed to provide a weatherproof seal between the upper and lower cardboard roof layers of a building. The product features a flange thickness of 0.9 mm and is designed for use with a sealant such as SabetoFIX PAP. The product can be mounted using cold glue or SabetoFIX PAP mounting glue. Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the roof transition is the correct size for the hole in the roof. The hole size should be no more than 30 mm larger than the transition.
- Perform a fugue of 10-15 mm around the hole in the roof. This should be done by the roofer.
- Place the roof transition flange on top of the upper cardboard roof layer, with the lower cardboard roof layer placed underneath.
- Apply a sealant, such as SabetoFIX PAP, to create a weatherproof seal between the roof transition and the cardboard roof layers. A sealant may be included from the factory.
- Mount the roof transition using cold glue or SabetoFIX PAP mounting glue.
