Celestron binoculars are designed for outdoor activities like hiking, birdwatching, and sightseeing. They provide a clear and sharp image of distant objects. The binoculars come with an adjustable diopter to accommodate different users.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Lift the binoculars up to your eyes using both hands.
  2. Look through the binoculars at an object in the distance.
  3. Adjust the interpupillary distance by moving the two halves of the binoculars about the hinge until you see one clear circle of image through both eyes.
  4. Adjust the diopter by following these steps:
  5. Close your right eye and look through the left side of the binoculars with your left eye.
  6. Rotate the center focusing wheel until the image appears in sharp focus.
  7. Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece (called the diopter).
  8. Rotate the right eyepiece until the image appears in sharp focus.
  9. Look through both eyepieces with both eyes open. Since you’ve already adjusted the right eyepiece, use only the center focusing wheel to refocus on a new object at a different distance.

Adjusting the Interpupillary Distance (IPD)

Using both hands, lift the binoculars up to your eyes and look through them at an object in the distance. Move the two halves of the binoculars about the hinge until you see one clear circle of image through both eyes.

Adjusting the Diopter

  1. Close your right eye and look through the left side of the binoculars with your left eye. Rotate the center focusing wheel until the image appears in sharp focus.
  2. Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece (called the diopter). Rotate the right eyepiece until the image appears in sharp focus.
  3. Now look through both eyepieces with both eyes open. Since you’ve already adjusted the right eyepiece, use only the center focusing wheel to refocus on a new object at a different distance.
