Choosing a Recording Location (Highly Recommended)

When record sport games, for the best tracking performance, it is highly recommended to setup the device near the center line of the field (as shown below). If recording in training mode, setup the device near the middle of the field as well.
Choosing a Recording Location

  • Please try to align the back center mark towards the center line of the target field. This applies to all recording modes, except for basketball half court mode. This will make sure the camera covers the whole field.
    Choosing a Recording Location

  • It is recommended to use a tripod to maintain stability of gimbal during recording and tracking. To record sports in a large field, such as soccer games, it is highly recommended to use a 12 feet and taller tripod to achieve the best performance.

  • Try to avoid any close audience in front of camera blocking the view. It’s recommended either to raise the tripod up high, or to setup the tripod close to the side line so no audience will block the camera’s view.
