Product Information
The ENGL SH is a group communication device that allows users to connect with others wirelessly. It comes with a pre-assigned name, Milo, and provides an interactive tutorial for first-time users. The device has a power button, a side button for connectivity, and volume controls. Users can create or join a group and get information on their group’s status. The device also has a built-in microphone for noise reduction.
Product Usage Instructions
Turning On the Device
Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. The pre-assigned
name Milo will greet you, and you will hear an interactive tutorial for first-
time users.
Connecting the Devices
To connect multiple Milos, hold them near each other and press and hold the
side button on all devices until the devices say “Connected.”
Grouping with Others
To group with others, hold Milos near each other, and press-and-hold the
side button on each at the same time. The light ring shows grouping is in
progress. Release the side buttons after you hear Connected.
Leaving a Group
To leave a group, double-click the side button. When asked to confirm,
double-click again. If you’re in a group, you need to leave it first to join
another.
Power & Battery
Getting Group Information
To get information about your group, click the side button. Milo tells you who is in your group and their status.
product Checking Battery Level
To check the battery level of your device, click the power button. To power
down, hold the power button for 2-3 seconds.
product Charging the Device
Use a USB-C cable to charge the device from any power adapter. The device
charges more quickly when turned on.
product Using a Headset
When using a headset, avoid putting the device in your pocket. The device
uses its built-in microphones for noise reduction.
product Bluetooth Headset Pairing
Most Bluetooth headsets need to be in pairing mode before clicking the Milo
Bluetooth button to pair. Refer to the pairing instructions for your headset.
If pairing doesn’t succeed, try turning off Bluetooth on your phone while
pairing.
product Factory Reset
If your device behaves unexpectedly, power down, then factory reset (see the Reference page for how to). After a reset, you need to rejoin your group.

The Milo app provides additional features for users of the device.
Quick Start
Step 1: Turn on
Press and hold the power button to turn on. Milo greets you with its pre-
assigned name. The first time, you’ll also hear an interactive tutorial.
Step 2: Connect
Hold Milos near each other. Press-and-hold the side button on all Milos until
you hear “Connected.”
Step 3: Go
You’ll notice that sound from connected Milos is quieter when you’re close
enough to talk in person.

- Factory Reset Power off. Press-and-hold Bluetooth and Power buttons at the same time. Release both buttons when the light ring blinks (after about 5-10 sec).

Get info on your group with a click of the side button. Milo tells you who is
in your group and their status.
Group Connection Status
Milo keeps the group informed when Milos go out of range. Milos reconnect
automatically when back in range.
Power & Battery
Battery Life
Click the power button for battery level info. To power down, hold the power
button for 2-3 seconds.
Charging
Use a USB-C cable to charge from any power adapter. You can even use a battery
pack to charge on-the-go while using Milo. Milo charges more quickly when
turned on.

Success Tips
Attaching Milo
Milo has a magnet and securely snaps into the included Action Clip, or one of
the other Milo clips available for purchase. To remove Milo from its clip,
simply rotate 90°, then pull it off the clip.
Others Can’t Hear You?
If your group can hear you, check if your mic is muted. Remember that Milo is
muted after it’s turned on.
Using a Headset
