Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Download JBL QuantumENGINE to gain full access to features on your JBL Quantum headsets – from headset calibration to adjusting 3D audio to suit your hearing, from creating customized RGB lighting effects to determining how the boom microphone side-tone works. Visit JBLquantum.com/engine to download.

  2. Check that your device meets the software requirements (Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11, with 500MB of free hard drive space for installation).

  3. Connect the headset using the 3.5mm audio cable or the USB wireless dongle.

  4. If using the USB wireless dongle for the first time, follow the first-time setup instructions:

    • Connect the headset to your PC via 2.4G USB wireless connection.

    • Go to Sound Settings -> Sound Control Panel.

    • Under Playback highlight JBL QUANTUM610 WIRELESS GAME and
      select Set Default -> Default Device.

    • Highlight JBL QUANTUM610 WIRELESS CHAT and select Set Default -> Default Communication Device.

    • Under Recording highlight JBL QUANTUM610 WIRELESS CHAT and select Set Default -> Default Device.

    • In your chat application select JBL QUANTUM610 WIRELESS CHAT as the default audio device.

    • Follow the onscreen instructions to personalize your sound settings.

  5. To adjust audio balance, use the game audio-chat balance dial or volume control button.

  6. To mute or unmute the microphone, use the microphone mute/unmute button or notification LED for mic mute/unmute.

  7. To turn the headset on or off, use the power on/off slider or hold the power on/off button for more than 5 seconds.

  8. To increase or decrease volume, use the volume control knob or button.

  9. To customize RGB lighting effects, use JBL QuantumENGINE software.
