Product Overview

The I LOCK IT GPS is a smart bike lock that ensures the security
of your bike. You can control it using the I LOCK IT app on your
smartphone or the I LOCK IT key fob+. It comes with a smart
anti-theft alarm, GPS tracking, and share access features. Here are the technical specifications:

Product Usage Instructions

First Set-Up:
- Charge the battery using the USB cable and a USB power
  adapter.
- Download and install the I LOCK IT app on your smartphone.
- Mount the I LOCK IT GPS onto your bike’s rear wheel using the
  included mounting materials.
Operation:
- To unlock, approach your bike with your smartphone or key fob+
  and the lock will open automatically.
- To lock, tap the button on your smartphone or key fob+ and the
  lock will secure your bike.
- If someone tries to steal your bike, the smart anti-theft alarm
  will sound and send you a notification on your smartphone.
- You can track the location of your bike using the GPS tracking
  feature in the I LOCK IT app.
- You can also share access to your I LOCK IT GPS with your
  family or friends through the I LOCK IT app.
Accessories:
- I LOCK IT key fob+: You can use this as an alternative to your
  smartphone to control the lock.
- I LOCK IT plug-in cable|chain: You can use this to secure your
  bike to a fixed object for extra security.
Maintenance:
- Clean the I LOCK IT GPS regularly using a damp cloth.
- Check the flex adapter regularly and replace if damaged.
- Monitor the battery life and recharge when necessary.
- To restore the factory state, press and hold the reset button
  for 10 seconds.

GENERAL NOTES AND INFORMATION

BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION
INTENDED USE
I LOCK IT GPS serves as a bicycle lock to lock the rear wheel. I LOCK IT GPS is controlled by a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone with the I LOCK IT App installed, or to a I LOCK IT key fob+.
Use I LOCK IT GPS only as described in this operating instructions. Any other use is considered improper and can lead to material damage or even personal injury. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.
I LOCK IT GPS is intended for private use.
Before using your I LOCK IT GPS, please read the safety instructions and the user manual carefully. Only in this way you can use all functions safely and reliably. Keep the operating instructions in a safe place and hand them over to a possible subsequent owner.

TERMINOLOGY You will find the following signal concepts in this manual:
This signal refers to a hazard with a medium degree of risk which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
This signal denotes a hazard with a low risk gradient which, if not avoided, can result in a minor or moderate injury.
This signal refers to important information or useful tips for use.

BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these notes and follow all instructions.
Electric shock hazard: Excessive mains voltage can lead to electrical shock.
· Use only accessories recommended by us. · Use only a suitable plug-in power supply. Make sure that the
correct voltage is applied.
For more information, please refer to the plug-in power supply.
· Check the power supply regularly for damage. Do not use the plugin power supply if its housing is defective or has other visible damage.
· Use the plug-in power supply only indoor and not in damp areas, and protect it against dripping and splashing water.·
· Never open the housing of the plug-in power supply or the I LOCK IT GPS.
· Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet when a thunderstorm threatens.

BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION

Risk of explosion: Batteries (especially lithium batteries) may explode if handled improperly.
· Keep I LOCK IT GPS away from heat sources (e.g. ovens, radiators, amplifiers etc.).
· Do not attempt to dispose I LOCK IT GPS by incineration. Only use accessories and equipment parts (e.g. battery) which are offered or recommended by us.
· Protect the battery from strong heat, such as direct sunlight, fire etc.
· Do not place open fire sources such as burning candles or similar on or directly beside I LOCK IT GPS.
· If the housing is defective, do not use I LOCK IT GPS and keep it out of the reach of children.
· Refer all repair and maintenance to qualified service personnel.
An inspection and|or repair is necessary if I LOCK IT GPS has been damaged in any way.

BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION

Operate I LOCK IT GPS only in the following environments conditions:
· Min –20 °C ambient temperature · Max 40 °C ambient temperature
Only charge the battery under the following environmental conditions:
· Min 0 °C ambient temperature · Max 30 °C ambient temperature
The use of the article can lead to accidents or malfunctions in certain places.
· Do not use I LOCK IT GPS in explosive atmospheres or dangered environment.
· Use Bluetooth® only in places where wireless radio transmission is permitted.
I LOCK IT GPS and the flex adapters must be checked for the following before each journey:
· Damage · Fixed mounting on the bicycle frame

BASIC SAFETY INFORMATION

After each opening procedure it must be checked that I LOCK IT GPS has been completely opened before the journey begins. After each locking procedure, check that the locking bar is completely closed.
Hearing loss due to acoustic sounds is possible. I LOCK IT GPS should not be brought close to your hearing.
· I LOCK IT GPS may only be fitted to the rear wheel. · Mounting on motorcycles such as scooters, motorcycles
or S-pedelecs (pedelecs with up to 45 km|h assistance) is not permitted. · The maximum permissible tyre width is 64 mm.
If I LOCK IT GPS emits an acoustic signal while riding, I LOCK IT GPS must be taken out of service immediately and our customer service contacted.
Keep a safe distance from the locking bar during the locking process, there is a danger of crushing.
· If the spokes are painted, it can lead to abrasion of the paint through the locking bar.

2. FIRST SET-UP 2.1. CHARGING THE BATTERY Before using your I LOCK IT GPS for the first time, you should fully charge the battery. To do this, follow these steps:
I. Open the USB-C cover on the right side of I LOCK IT GPS. II. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the USB-C
charging port on I LOCK IT GPS.

III. Connect the USB charging cable to a USB-power adapter, battery pack or the USB port of a computer.
To charge I LOCK IT GPS use only voltage sources, which supply the USB output with 5 V direct voltage (DC).
While I LOCK IT GPS is charging, the button LED lights up red. When the battery is full, the LED goes out.
If there is no power outlet near the bicycle we recommend charging by using a battery pack to avoid disassembly from the bike.
IV. Once I LOCK IT GPS is fully charged, you can remove the USB charging cable and close the USB cover again.
If the battery reaches a low charge level, an acoustic warning tone will sound each time the lock is opened. The battery should then be charged to ensure that I LOCK IT GPS is ready to use.

2.2. SETTING UP THE I LOCK IT APP
Once fully charged, you can connect your I LOCK IT GPS to your smartphone.
The following steps can only be performed when setting up a smartphone for the first time. If you want to set up another smartphone or a key fob+, please follow the steps in chapter 3.6.
I. Download the I LOCK IT app:

The Bluetooth functionality of your smartphone must be activated before starting the I LOCK IT app.
II. Install and start the I LOCK IT app on your smartphone.
III. Register in the I LOCK IT app and activate your account.
IV. Log in with your account.
V. Follow the further instructions in the app for setting up your I LOCK IT GPS.
Initial setup of a smartphone is only possible when I LOCK IT GPS is in setup mode. This is indicated by a flashing blue button. Follow the instructions in the app to put I LOCK IT GPS into setup mode.

FIRST SET-UP

If the initial setup was completed successfully, the I LOCK IT App establishes a secure connection to your I LOCK IT GPS. Once the process is complete, the I LOCK IT GPS button lights up blue for 5 seconds and the I LOCK IT app confirms successful pairing.
If the blue LED goes out before a connection is established, then the button must be pressed again to enable the connection.
The first time you set up I LOCK IT GPS with the I LOCK IT App, you set your personal color code. This code is used to open I LOCK IT GPS if there is no Bluetooth connection to the smartphone or key fob and should not be passed on to third parties. The color code can be viewed and changed via the I LOCK IT app.
The personal color code is very important and must be be kept safe by you! If you lose your smartphone, your personal color code cannot be recovered by our customer service.

FIRST SET-UP

· In the I LOCK IT app you can select which I LOCK IT is meant to create a connection. Individual configurations can also be setted.
· Your smartphone can only be connected with one I LOCK IT at the same time.

2.3. MOUNTING ON THE BIKE
I LOCK IT GPS is permanently attached to the seat stays of your bike. For mounting I LOCK IT GPS has three different openings. Through these openings I LOCK IT GPS can be mounted at the optimal height.
I LOCK IT GPS should only be mounted on the rear wheel. Mounting on motorcycles such as scooters, motorcycles or S-pedelecs (pedelecs with up to 45 km|h support) is not permitted.
Mount I LOCK IT GPS in such a way that there is enough clearance to the mudguard. Only then the spoke avoidance can be guaranteed at the locking process.
MOUNTING FOR BIKES WITH THREADED SOCKETS
If your bike already has threaded sockets for screwing on frame locks, please follow these instructions:
Most city, trekking and e-bikes have threaded sockets. On some models they may be protected by plastic covers. These covers must be removed before mounting I LOCK IT GPS.

I. Screw the flex adapters by hand into the threaded sockets (1) of your bike and tighten the flex adapters (2) hand-tight (3Nm).
II. Place I LOCK IT GPS over your mudguard | tire.
III. Tighten the I LOCK IT GPS to the flex adapters by hand with an Allen key (3Nm). Use the supplied mounting screws.

FIRST SET-UP

Be careful not to screw the I LOCK IT GPS too tight. This could cause difficulties in moving the locking bar.
Check manually that the I LOCK IT GPS can be tilted back and forth. The mudguard should not hinder the movement.
MOUNTING AT BIKE WITHOUT THREADED SOCKETS If your bike does not have threaded sockets for mounting I LOCK IT GPS, then I LOCK IT GPS can be easily and safely mounted with the optional installation adapters.
Please follow the steps below:

FIRST SET-UP

The installation adapters have flexible screw holders that can be adjusted laterally. This allows even more variety in the frame width of the bike.
I. Attach the appropriate installation adapter to one of the frame struts.
II. Place the plastic bands around the strut and then through the openings on the installation adapter.
III. Insert the plastic screws (1) into the installation adapter.
IV. Use a suitable screwdriver to tighten the installation adapter by turning the plastic screw.

FIRST SET-UP

V. Repeat the procedure for the second installation adapter.
VI. Manually screw the flex adapters with the thread into the installation adapters and tighten them hand-tight (3Nm).
VII. Place I LOCK IT GPS over your mudguard | tire.
VIII. Screw I LOCK IT GPS to the threaded sockets of the flex adapters by hand using an Allen key (3 Nm). Use the mounting screws supplied with I LOCK IT GPS.
Take care not to screw the I LOCK IT GPS too tight. This could lead to difficulties in moving the locking bar.
Check manually that the I LOCK IT GPS can be tilted back and forth. The mudguard should not hinder the movement.
The protruding plastic straps of the installation adapters can be removed with a side cutter.

3. OPERATION
3.1. UNLOCKING I LOCK IT GPS I LOCK IT GPS offers several ways to open:
AUTOMATIC UNLOCKING If the automatic opening is activated in the settings, I LOCK IT GPS will open automatically as soon as you get close to it. The distance at which I LOCK IT will open can be configured in different steps via the app.
The I LOCK IT app must be active on your smartphone in the background and the Bluetooth functionality of your smartphone must be switched on.
After successful opening, the I LOCK IT GPS button lights up green and your journey can begin.
An automatic opening only takes place if you have moved at least 5 m away from your bike after closing by smartphone or button or I LOCK IT GPS has closed automatically.

OPERATION

The distance is determined by the signal strength between I LOCK IT GPS and your smartphone. This signal strength changes depending on the storage of your smartphone. For example, I LOCK IT GPS may open earlier when you have your phone in your hand and later when you carry it in your pocket.
UNLOCKING BY BUTTON
In addition to automatic opening, I LOCK IT GPS can be opened by briefly pressing the I LOCK IT GPS button. After successful opening, the button will light up green and your journey can begin.
· Opening by pressing the button only works if your smartphone is nearby and the I LOCK IT App is connected to your I LOCK IT GPS.
· If the smartphone is connected to I LOCK IT GPS but is not near I LOCK IT GPS, the button will light red and no opening will occur.

OPERATION

UNLOCKING BY SMARTPHONE
Another option is to open your I LOCK IT GPS through the I LOCK IT app. To do so, click on the “Unlock now” button on the home screen of the app or click directly on the graphic of the lock. Once I LOCK IT GPS is open, the text will change to “Lock now” and the I LOCK IT GPS button lights up green for 5 seconds.
UNLOCKING BY COLOR CODE
If you have forgotten your smartphone or your smartphone battery is empty, I LOCK IT GPS can be opened by your personal color code. The color code is set during the first setup of the I LOCK IT app and can be changed via the app.
The personal color code is very important and must be kept safe by you! If you lose your smartphone, your personal color code cannot be recovered by our support service.
The color code can only be entered if there is no Bluetooth connection between your smartphone and I LOCK IT GPS.

OPERATION

Follow the instructions to enter the color code:
I. Press and hold the button until it displays the desired color. The colors appear in this order: green, blue, red, white.
II. Release the button and repeat the procedure for the next color. III. Repeat the procedure for all 6 colors.
After entering the correct color code, I LOCK IT GPS will open automatically. If you have entered an incorrect color code, the LED will flash red briefly and you can then start a new color code entry.
· After entering a color, you have 5 seconds to start the next entry.
· An incomplete entry is cancelled after 5 seconds and is indicated by flashing 3 times.
· If the color code is entered incorrectly 3 times within 3 minutes, the input is blocked for 5 minutes.

OPERATION

3.2. LOCKING I LOCK IT GPS
I LOCK IT GPS offers several locking options:
Locking I LOCK IT GPS is only possible when the bike is not in motion.
If an attempt is made to lock I LOCK IT GPS while riding, the button will flash red, an acoustic warning tone will sound and no locking process will take place.
AUTOMATIC LOCKING If automatic locking is enabled in the I LOCK IT settings, I LOCK IT GPS will lock up as soon as you move away from your bike. The distance for automatic locking can be configured in the I LOCK IT app.
Before closing, I LOCK IT GPS will emit an audible tone to indicate the following lock. Upon successful completion, the I LOCK IT GPS button will illuminate red for 5 seconds and your bike will be secured.
The I LOCK IT app must be active on your smartphone in the background and connected to your I LOCK IT GPS.

OPERATION

· If you have previously opened your I LOCK IT GPS using the I LOCK IT app, the automatic locking function is only active if you were in the immediate vicinity of your I LOCK IT GPS after opening it.
· If the Bluetooth connection to your open I LOCK IT GPS gets lost, an acoustic warning tone will sound as soon as your bike stops. An automatic closing procedure is not carried out.
· The distance is determined by the signal strength between I LOCK IT GPS and your smartphone. This signal strength changes depending on the storage of your smartphone. For example, it may lock later when you hold your smartphone in your hand and earlier when you carry it in your pocket.
· While riding, I LOCK IT GPS intelligently calculates the signal strength to prevent locking even in situations when the bike is stationary, such as at traffic lights. Due to this calculation, the actual distance at which I LOCK IT GPS closes, can vary.
· However, if a closing process takes place while the phone is stationary, the distance for automatic closing should be increased or the phone should be stored elsewhere while riding. If this does not help, then the recommendation is to disable automatic locking.

OPERATION

LOCKING BY BUTTON
In addition to automatic closing, I LOCK IT GPS can also be closed by pressing a button. To do this, press and hold the I LOCK IT GPS button until it turns red and then release it.
Before closing, I LOCK IT GPS will emit an audible tone to indicate that it is about to close. After successful locking, the button lights up red.
The locking tone can be deactivated in the settings menu of the I LOCK IT App.
LOCKING BY SMARTPHONE Another option is to close your I LOCK IT GPS using the I LOCK IT app.
To do this, click the “Lock now” button on the home screen or click directly on the lock graphic. Before closing the I LOCK IT GPS will emit an audible tone to indicate that the locking bolt is about to be closed.
The locking tone can be set in the settings menu of the I LOCK IT app and it can be deactivated.

OPERATION

As soon as I LOCK IT GPS is closed, the text changes to “Unlock now”, the I LOCK IT GPS button lights up red for 5 seconds and your bike is secured.
If there is no Bluetooth connection between the smartphone and I LOCK IT GPS, the Button “Unlock now” is not displayed.
3.3. SMART ANTI-THEFT ALARM If the theft alarm is activated in the I LOCK IT settings and your I LOCK IT GPS is locked, I LOCK IT GPS will sound an audible alarm when your bike is lifted and moved.
The smart alarm analyzes the strength and duration of the movement and uses a short pre-alarm to signal that the anti-theft alarm is activated. If the unauthorized movement of the bicycle continues, a 30-second alarm tone is triggered.
The pre-alarm can be activated in the I LOCK IT app.

OPERATION

If your bike continues to be moved after the alarm has expired, a new alarm tone is triggered for 30 seconds.
While the acoustic alarm is active, I LOCK IT GPS cannot be opened.
As soon as the alarm is triggered, you will receive a message directly on your smartphone or via e-mail.
If you are within Bluetooth range of your I LOCK IT GPS, you can deactivate the acoustic alarm before 30 seconds by pressing the “All OK” button.
You will only receive an alarm message on your smartphone or via e-mail if I LOCK IT GPS is either connected to your Smartphone via Bluetooth or if sufficient mobile phone reception is available.
The silent alarm feature allows you to disable the audible alarm on I LOCK IT GPS while the alarm notification continues to be sent to your smartphone in the event of movement.

OPERATION

3.4. GPS TRACKING
The GPS tracking functionality can only be used when the I LOCK IT GPS is locked and the alarm system is activated (acoustic or silent alarm).
If a theft alarm is triggered on your bike, I LOCK IT automatically activates the GPS tracking functionality.
With the I LOCK IT app you can now track the current location of your I LOCK IT GPS.
As soon as your bike is not moved for a longer period of time, I LOCK IT GPS deactivates the GPS functionality again to save energy. If your bike is moved again, the GPS tracking will be activated again.
· The GPS tracking functionality will only be activated if you are not within Bluetooth range when the alarm is triggered.
· The transmission of location data is only possible if sufficient mobile phone reception is available.

OPERATION

· After activating the GPS Tracking function, it can take up to several minutes to locate the current position via GPS. GPS reception in buildings is usually not possible.
· The GPS localization has a high energy consumption. We recommend charging your I LOCK IT GPS regularly, even if the battery has not yet reached a critical level.
ACOUSTIC SIGNAL FUNCTION
With the acoustic signal function you can trigger a short tone on your I LOCK IT GPS via the I LOCK IT app. This will help you find your I LOCK IT GPS when you are nearby.
To use the acoustic signal function, your I LOCK IT GPS must be within Bluetooth range and the I LOCK IT App must be connected to your I LOCK IT GPS.

OPERATION

PROXIMITY POSITIONING FUNCTION
The GPS accuracy can deviate several meters from the real location of your bike depending on the environmental situation. In these situations, the proximity positioning function can help you locate your bike.
Once your I LOCK IT GPS is within Bluetooth range, the proximity positioning screen in the I LOCK IT app will show you whether you are currently approaching your bike or heading in the opposite direction.
The stronger the Bluetooth signal, the closer your bike with I LOCK IT GPS is.

OPERATION

3.5. SHARE ACCESS
To lend your I LOCK IT GPS-equipped bike to friends or family, you can create and share a color code in the I LOCK IT app. This color code allows you to open I LOCK IT GPS without having to install the I LOCK IT app on another smartphone.
To do so, switch to the settings menu in the I LOCK IT App. Under the sub-item “Share” you can generate, share, change and deactivate a color code. If the color code is changed, the last displayed color code is automatically deactivated.
· To create a color code, your I LOCK IT app must be connected to your I LOCK IT GPS.
· Your personal color code, which you set during initial setup, should not be shared. This personal color code provides permanent access to your I LOCK IT GPS.
· If several people are using your bike permanently, it makes sense to teach additional smartphones to your I LOCK IT GPS.

OPERATION

3.6. CONNECTING NEW SMARTPHONE|KEY FOB+
Only one smartphone can be connected to I LOCK IT GPS at the same time. However, a smartphone and a key fob+ can be connected simultaneously and control I LOCK IT GPS at the same time.
The settings in I LOCK IT GPS are valid for all users and can also be changed by any connected smartphone. A maximum of 8 Smartphones or key fob+ can be paired to I LOCK IT GPS.
To connect another device to I LOCK IT GPS, it is necessary to bring I LOCK IT GPS into set-up mode. Only in this mode a new device can be connected to I LOCK IT GPS.
There are several ways to transfer I LOCK IT GPS into the set-up mode.

START SET-UP MODE WITH I LOCK IT APP To put your I LOCK IT GPS into set-up mode via the I LOCK IT app, follow these steps:
I. Open the I LOCK IT App on the already configured smartphone.
II. Go to the settings menu and open the “Share” submenu.
III. Select the option “Pair new smartphone”.
IV. Read and confirm the note. I LOCK IT GPS enters the set-up mode.
Entering the set-up mode is only possible if I LOCK IT GPS is connected with the smartphone with the I LOCK IT App installed.

OPERATION

START SET-UP MODE WITH KEY FOB+
To put your I LOCK IT GPS into setup mode using a connected key fob+, follow these steps:
I. Make sure that the key fob+ is connected to your I LOCK IT GPS.
II. Press and hold the key fob+ button for at least 6 seconds and then release the button. I LOCK IT GPS enters set-up mode.
START SET-UP MODE WITH COLOR CODE If you have lost your paired smartphone or key fob+, the set-up mode can also be started using the color code configured during initial set-up.
I. Open your I LOCK IT GPS by entering your personal color code, which you configured during the initial set-up of the I LOCK IT app.

OPERATION

The color code can only be entered if no Bluetooth connection to your I LOCK IT GPS is active. The following steps will not work with a created color code for sharing.

PAIR NEW SMARTPHONE I. Open the I LOCK IT app on your new smartphone.
II. Follow the instructions in the I LOCK IT app.
III. As soon as the I LOCK IT GPS button lights up blue for 5 seconds and the app confirms successful pairing, the new smartphone is also connected to I LOCK IT.

OPERATION

· In the app you can select which I LOCK IT should be connected to your smartphone. In addition, individual configurations can be made.
· Your smartphone can only be connected to one I LOCK IT at a time.
PAIR KEY FOB+ Press the key fob+ button.
The key fob+ LED starts flashing blue.
As soon as the key fob+ LED and the I LOCK IT GPS button light up blue for 5 seconds, there is a connection between key fob+ and I LOCK IT GPS.

3.7. ACOUSTIC SIGNALS
WARNING SOUNDS
I LOCK IT GPS emits warning tones in various situations (such as an unsuccessful unlocking or locking). These tones can be activated and deactivated via the slider in the I LOCK IT app.
If the warning tones are deactivated, the I LOCK IT GPS button will continue to flash red when a warning occurs, but there will be no acoustic warning.
LOCKING SOUND
A short acoustic tone is sounded as information about an imminent closure. This sound can be activated and deactivated using the slider in the I LOCK IT app. If this function is deactivated, then there is no acoustic signal before a locking process.
For safety reasons, the sound cannot be deactivated during automatic closing. If you wish to lock without an acoustic confirmation, we recommend locking by pressing the button on I LOCK IT GPS or via app.

UNLOCKING SOUND
The unlocking sound generates a short acoustic signal after a successful unlocking of I LOCK IT GPS. This sound can be activated and deactivated using the slider in the I LOCK IT app.

4.1. I LOCK IT KEY FOB+
The key fob+ allows you to use your I LOCK IT GPS without a smartphone. You can also use the key fob+ and the smartphone at the same time, a simultaneous Bluetooth connection of both devices with I LOCK IT GPS is possible.
The key fob+ is powered by a button cell (CR2025) and notifies you of important information of your I LOCK IT GPS thanks to its status LED. In addition, it gives an acoustic feedback and you will be informed by an acoustic signal in case of an alarm.

FIRST SET-UP WITH I LOCK IT APP To set up the key fob+, you must first set up a smartphone on your I LOCK IT GPS.
I. Open the I LOCK IT app on the already set up smartphone.
II. Open the settings menu and then the submenu “Key fob”.
III. Click on “Pair key fob”.
IV. Confirm the message.
V. Your I LOCK IT GPS is now in set-up mode. VI. Press the button on the key fob+. VII. The key fob+ LED starts flashing blue. As soon as the key fob+ LED and the I LOCK IT GPS button light up blue for 5 seconds, a permanent connection between key fob+ and I LOCK IT GPS has been established.

OPERATION
A short press of the key fob+ button establishes a connection between the key fob+ and the paired I LOCK IT GPS (if within Bluetooth range). As soon as the connection is established, the key fob+ LED lights up blue for 5 seconds and an opening or closing process takes place immediately.
When leaving the Bluetooth range (e.g. after parking and leaving the bicycle) the connection disconnects and the key fob+ switches to the energy saving mode.
After pressing the key fob+ button the LED lights up blue to confirm that a command was sent to I LOCK IT GPS. The command can only be transmitted if I LOCK IT GPS is in Bluetooth range.
DEACTIVATE ALARM
If the acoustic alarm of your I LOCK IT GPS is triggered and if there is a connection to the key fob+, the key fob+ LED starts flashing red. The acoustic alarm can be deactivated before 30 seconds by briefly pressing the key fob+ button.

MAINTENANCE BATTERY LEVEL AND BATTERY CHANGE As soon as the battery level of your key fob+reaches a critical level, the key fob+ LED starts flashing red. If this happens, the battery should be replaced to ensure continued reliable operation. Follow these steps to change the key fob+ battery.
I. Open the battery cover.
II. Remove the old battery and dispose of it properly.
III. Insert a new battery into the battery compartment and close the battery cover.
The key fob+ is fully functional again now.
All settings will be retained during the battery change and no new initial set-up must be done.

RESET TO FACTORY STATE If the key fob+ is reset to the factory setting, the connection between I LOCK IT GPS and key fob+ is deleted. The key fob+ can then be connected to a new I LOCK IT GPS.
The following steps must be carried out to reset the key fob+ to the factory settings:
I. Open the battery cover and remove the battery.
II. Press and hold the key fob+ button.
III. Insert the coin battery into the key fob+ (keep the button pressed down).
IV. Release the key fob+ button after approx. 5 seconds.
If the key fob+ LED flashes blue, the procedure was successful and the key fob+ has been reset to the factory settings.
To reconnect the key fob+ to I LOCK IT GPS, follow the instructions for the first set-up for pairing again.

4.2. I LOCK IT PLUG-IN CABLE | CHAIN The plug-in cable and the plug-in chain allow additional locking of your bike with a solid object.
Do the following steps:
I. Place the cable | chain around a solid object (e.g. a bicycle stand).
II. Insert the plug-in cable | chain end through the loop on the other end.
III. Pull the cable | chain through the loop to reduce the size of the loop.
IV. Insert the plug into the provided hole of your unlocked I LOCK IT GPS and make sure it is firmly seated.
Once your I LOCK IT GPS locks, the plug-in cable | chain is locked with the locking bolt and cannot be removed.

· The best way to close I LOCK IT GPS is by pressing the button to check that the plug is firmly closed.
· The rubber rings on the plug ensure that it will not fall out of your I LOCK IT GPS even after automatic unlocking.
· Plugging the cable | the chain into a locked I LOCK IT GPS is not possible.

5. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
5.1. CLEANING I LOCK IT GPS is insensitive to water splashing and can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. To ensure reliable operation, the locking bolt should also be regularly cleaned of dirt.
· Cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner is not permitted and may damage I LOCK IT GPS.
· Do not use chemicals for cleaning I LOCK IT GPS.
5.2. FLEX ADAPTER
Check the flex adapters regularly for damage. The flex adapters are subject to wear and tear. The material can become porous due to UV radiation and other weather conditions.
If the condition is no longer sufficient for reliable operation, it is advisable to replace the flex adapters. These can be ordered from us. Please contact our support team.

5.3. BATTERY LIFE AND LOW BATTERY
The battery integrated in I LOCK IT GPS supplies the lock with power for approximately one cycling season. The actual running time depends on various factors such as the environmental conditions like temperature, the frequency of use and the alarm setting. If the battery reaches a low charge level, an acoustic warning tone is sounded each time the lock is opened. The battery should be recharged to keep I LOCK IT GPS functional.
· When the power supply to I LOCK IT GPS is exhausted, it will stop working and remain in its last state.
· Unlocking | locking and the alarm function are not possible when the battery is exhausted.
· By connecting a charger or power bank, I LOCK IT GPS is immediately ready for use again and can be locked or unlocked.
The GPS functionality of your I LOCK IT GPS has an increased power requirement. If the battery level is low, it may not be usable although your I LOCK IT GPS can still be operated.

5.4. RESTORING THE FACTORY STATE
To restore your I LOCK IT GPS to factory default settings, follow these steps:
I. Open the I LOCK IT app and make sure the connection to your I LOCK IT GPS is active.
II. Open the “Settings” menu and enter the “My I LOCK IT” submenu.
III. Press the button “Reset lock”.
IV. Confirm the warning message. Your I LOCK IT GPS is now reset to factory state.
· The factory state of I LOCK IT GPS will reset all settings to default, the color code and all connected devices will be deleted.
· After resetting, the phone must be paired with I LOCK IT GPS again.
· The key fob+ must also be reset to the factory setting and then it must be paired with I LOCK IT GPS again.

6. FURTHER INFORMATION
6.1. OPTICAL SIGNALS The I LOCK IT GPS button serves as a visual indicator, which can show different states. The following signals are displayed.
BLUE LED FLASHES · If the blue LED flashes continuously, I LOCK IT GPS in setup mode: A new connection to your I LOCK IT GPS can be established. · When flashing blue 3 times, the connection to your smartphone or the key fob+ is lost.
BLUE LED LIGHTS UP · A new connection was successfully established. · The existing connection was restored after a connection termination.
GREEN LED LIGHTS UP · During opening procedure: I LOCK IT GPS was successfully opened.

RED LED LIGHTS UP
· During closing: I LOCK IT GPS was successfully locked. · During charging: The I LOCK IT GPS battery is currently
charging.
RED LED FLASHES
· During locking: Locking is not possible because the bicycle is in motion or the locking bar is blocked by an obstacle.
· During color code entry: An incorrect code was entered or the code entry was cancelled because too much time was required.
· During color code entry: The color code entry is blocked due to repeated failed attempts.
· Opening by button: Smartphone is too far from I LOCK IT GPS.

6.2. ACOUSTIC SIGNALS
In addition to the optical signals, I LOCK IT GPS has several acoustic signals, which are explained below.
1 – SINGLE SOUND
· Announcement that I LOCK IT GPS begins to lock or unlock.
3 – TIMES SOUND
· Locking or unlocking is not possible because the bike was in motion.
· Locking or unlocking is not possible because a resistance is blocking the locking bolt.
I LOCK IT GPS is equipped with the dynamic spoke avoidance system (DSA system). This means that bicycle spokes are no obstacle to the closing process. The flex adapters ensure that the sharpened locking bar can pass the spoke without problems and I LOCK IT GPS reliably secures your bicycle. In some cases, however, I LOCK IT GPS may still be blocked during the locking process and unlock again.

5 – TIMES SOUND · Bluetooth connection to I LOCK IT GPS has been lost, an automatic locking is not possible. · During unlocking: Low battery, I LOCK IT GPS should be charged soon to ensure continuous operation.
3 – TIMES SHORT SOUND · The smart alarm is activated by movement and the prealarm is triggered.
CONTINUED ACOUSTIC SOUND · The anti-theft alarm is triggered by movement.
