Unscrew and remove the tank cap, then pour distilled water (TDS
< 10ppm) into the tank. -
Replace the tank cap and connect the power supply.
-
Press the power button to turn on the machine.
-
The machine will automatically start producing hydrogen gas and
the indicator light will turn blue.
How to Use the Machine
- Connect one end of the white connection tube to the hydrogen outlet and the other end to the nano-rod bubbler.
- Fill the nano-rod bubbler with distilled water (TDS < 10ppm).
- Connect the cannula to the nano-rod bubbler.
- Put the cannula into your mouth and inhale normally.
- Adjust the hydrogen flow rate as desired using the control knob.
Precautions
- Do not use tap water or mineral water in the machine.
- Do not overfill the water tank.
- Do not disassemble or modify the machine.
- Keep the machine away from heat sources and direct
sunlight.
Cleaning
- Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source.
- Drain any remaining water from the tank.
- Clean the tank and nano-rod bubbler with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
Troubleshooting:
- If the machine does not turn on, check the power supply and connections.
- If the hydrogen purity is lower than 99.9%, replace the nano-rod bubbler.
- If there is water leakage, check the tank cap and connections.
(Please read this user manual carefully before using the Hydrogen Inhaler)
How to Operate
Unboxing
- Parts list
- Hydrogen generator machine
- TDS meter (LR44 button batteries not included)
- Stainless steel nano-rod bubbler
- Cannulas
- White connection tubes
- Y connectors
- First follow the instructions under the “Using the machine for the first time” section, and
- Read the Precautions section (Very important).
Using the machine for the first time
-
Remove any caps on the Hydrogen and Oxygen outlets.
-
Unscrew and remove the tank cap, then pour distilled water (TDS<3) into the tank. Make sure the tank is at least ¾ full.
-
The drain outlet is located on the back of the machine. Position the back of the machine over a sink. Unscrew
the drain cap. Water will pour out as soon as the cap is removed. Drain out about a third of the water. Then replace the drain cap.
This is to ensure that the system is flushed fully. Leave overnight to fully soak the membrane and to ensure that the electrolytic cell is fully wet. -
Connect the power cord and turn the power on (power switch and cord socket is on the back of the machine). The machine will beep and the screen will turn on.
-
Unscrew and remove the tank cap and top up the water tank with distilled water (TDS<3). To check the water level, use the water level observation window on the back of the machine. Then screw the tank cap back on.
-
If the water level is low an alarm will sound until the water level is back above the minimum level.
How to use the machine (Machine operation)
- To turn the machine on, the main power switch is located on the back of the machine (red switch).
- Press the button to set the flow rate. Pre-set flow rates, 300, 450, 600, 750 and 900 ml/min. For initial use, start with a lower flow rate until you get use to the hydrogen.
- Press the button key to set the countdown clock. Pre-set times, 1,2,3,5 and 8 hours.
- After setting the flow rate and the time, press the start button to start the machine.
- Press the button to turn OFF and ON the background light and the display.
- When the machine is working, press the button to stop the machine and reset the timer.
- Once the countdown timer reaches zero the machine will beep and stop generating hydrogen.
- When you have finished using the machine, turn it off at the power switch, (the red switch on the back of the machine.
Precautions
- For adult use only.
- Use only distilled water with a TDS of less than 3 to avoid voiding your warranty. Water with a TDS greater than 3 WILL damage the Cell. For the recommended brand of distilled water contact our Sales Support Team – 1800 268 469.
- Always use in a well-ventilated or spacious room.
- Operating temperature 5 to 30°C with a relative humidity of between 25 to 75°.
- Do NOT use near an open flame (including smoke, burning incense or cigarettes) or a heater, or anything that sparks or has an open flame (within 3m).
- Do NOT use when going to sleep. Remain awake at all times when using the machine.
- Keep the power plug away from water.
- Do NOT block the hydrogen and oxygen outlet holes when using the machine. Blocking these outlets will void the warranty.
- Do NOT connect the bubbler to the Oxygen outlet, as the back pressure will cause damage to the cell and will void the warranty.
- To maximise and maintain the optimal efficiency, the hydrogen generator should be rested for 2-3 hours after more than 2 consecutive hours of use. After each shorter time session, it is ideal to rest the machine off for 1-2 hours.
- Don’t use the machine without water in it, this too voids the warranty.
Creating Hydrogen water with the bubbler
- Push one end of the white connection tube onto the small end of the nano-rod bubbler.
- Push the other end of the white connection tube onto the Hydrogen outlet on the machine.
- Keep the Oxygen outlet open (not covered).
- Place the larger end of the bubbler into a glass of water and start the machine.
- Set the flow rate to 150ml/min.
- Hydrogen-rich water will take between 5-10 minutes. So, stop the machine after 10 minutes.
Hint: The colder the water the more Hydrogen can be absorbed by the water.
Caution: Only connect the bubbler assembly to the Hydrogen outlet. DO NOT
connect it to the Oxygen outlet, as the back pressure will cause damage to the
Cell and will void the warranty.
Inhaling Hydrogen
- Push the white connection tube onto the Hydrogen outlet.
- Keep the Oxygen outlet open (not blocked).
- Fit the cannula onto your nose as shown below.
- Turn on the machine.
Hints: Initially, start with 30 minutes a day at a flow rate of 300ml/min until the body gets used to the Hydrogen (1 week).
Short sessions are more beneficial than longer sessions (1 hour ideally). Also rest the unit for 1-2 hours between each 1-hour session.
Caution: Do NOT use near an open flame (including smoke, burning incense or cigarettes) or a heater or anything that sparks within 3 meters.
Inhaling Hydrogen and Oxygen
- Push one end of 1 white connection tube onto the Oxygen outlet and the other end onto the Y-Connector (see image below), connect to the end indicated by the letter A.
- Push one end of another white connection tube onto the Hydrogen outlet and the other end onto the Y-Connector (see image below), connect to the end indicated by the letter B.
- Push the connection end of the Cannula onto the Y-Connector (see image below), connect to the end indicated by the letter C
- Fit the Cannula onto your nose as shown in the Inhaling Hydrogen section above.
- Then, turn on the machine.
Cleaning
- If the machine is used for more than 3 hours a day, it is recommended to replace the water in the machine every 7 days.
- Otherwise, it is recommended to replace the distilled water after every 20 hours of use.
- To clean, simply position the back of the machine over a sink. Unscrew the tank cap, then unscrew the drain cap. Water will pour out as soon as the drain cap is removed.
- Refill the tank with distilled water (TDS<3). Allow to soak for 60 minutes, then drain out the water. Refill again with fresh distilled water (TDS<3).
- If transporting the machine, drain out all the distilled water. Once you’re ready to use the machine again, refill the tank with distilled water (TDS<3).
- If storing the machine for more than 2 weeks, drain out the distilled water. Once you’re ready to use the machine again, flush the machine as above and then refill the tank with distilled water (TDS<3).
- Periodically empty out the water in the humidification bottle (refer to images on page 3).
Caution: Use only distilled water with a TDS of less than 3 to avoid
voiding your warranty. And don’t use the machine without water in it, this too
voids the warranty.
