Stevie Buoy Glass Egg Ultrasonic Diffuser
Diffusing oils is one of the easiest yet most effective ways for you to Fragrance your home.
Over time, however, your diffuser will develop an oil build-up that can
prevent it from working properly so it is important to understand how to use
and take care of it.
Here are a few tips that will help you have the best aromatic experience as
well as extend the life of your Stevie Buoy Ultrasonic Diffuser.
Before first use you should always read the manufacturer’s instructions that
are supplied with your unit. Not following these instructions can potentially
prevent your diffuser from working properly or possibly even damage the unit.
DIFFUSER SAFTEY
- When using electrical appliances, precautions must always be taken to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and personal injury.
- Keep the unit out of reach of children and pets and away from any objects which are flammable or can be damaged by heat.
- Do not use appliance for other than its intended purpose.
- For household/ indoor use only.
- Do not leave appliance unattended while in use. Unplug the appliance when not in use.
- Do not use in wet areas, near a sink or bathtub.
- Never immerse the appliance or cord into water.
- If the power supply cord becomes damaged the appliance should be discarded. The power supply cord cannot be replaced.
- Do not over fill the water Tank. Fill only to the marked line.
- Clean regularly taking care to follow the Manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Failure to follow these instructions can potentially prevent your diffuser from working properly or damage the unit.
- Do not leave the unit sitting with water/oil inside.
- When you have finished using your unit follow the Quick-Clean Instructions to prevent damage. A regular Deep Clean Cycle is also essential.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
- Add water to the inner vessel to the Fill Line.
- Add 5 -10 drops of Essential oil or Fragrance oil depending on your preference and size of your Ultrasonic Diffuser.
- Place lid on inner vessel and slide outer sleeve over the top.
- Turn diffuser ON and enjoy the ambiance immediately.
- Follow Quick Clean instructions after every use.
QUICK CLEAN
This should be done after every use.
- Empty any oil and water left in the diffuser – After unplugging the device from the power supply, empty any Fragrance or Essential oil left in the device. Make sure you pour away from any operating buttons found on the diffuser.
- Wipe out the inside of the diffuser – Using a tiny amount of Isopropyl alcohol or detergent, wipe the inside with a small cloth or sponge. Remove any build-up in a gentle manner and do not use a scourer or abrasives
- Clean the ultrasonic mist chip – Use a Q-tip (Cotton Bud) dipped in rubbing alcohol to wipe the ultrasonic mist chip found inside the water tank.
- Wipe the outside of the diffuser using the same approach as cleaning the inside in the previous step.
- Rinse and dry – Give the diffuser and water tank a gentle rinse with water and leave to dry.
DEEP CLEAN
This should be done once every 1-2 months.
- Empty any excess oil and water left in the diffuser – After unplugging the device from the power supply, empty any Fragrance or Essential oil left in the device. Make sure you pour away from any operating buttons found on the diffuser.
- Fill the diffuser with water – Fill the water tank with water halfway.
- Add one tea spoon of Pure White Vinegar to the water tank.
- Turn the diffuser ON and run for 10 to 15 mins to allow the vinegar mixture to run through the device. This will help remove any oil build up.
- Empty the diffuser – Removing the water and vinegar.
- Clean tight spots – Dab a cotton tip in white vinegar and clean the tight spots and nooks of the diffuser.
- Clean the ultrasonic mist chip – Use a Q-tip (Cotton Bud) dipped in rubbing alcohol to wipe the ultrasonic mist chip found inside the water tank.
- Rinse the diffuser – Use clean water to rinse the diffuser.
- Use a dry cloth to thoroughly wipe the diffuser.
