Instruction for correct installation and use

The safety of this fixture is only guaranteed if these instructions are
strictly followed.
As a consequence, they should be retained for future reference.
Artemide S.p.a. shall not be liable for any products modified without prior
authorization.
WARNING:
This luminaire is equipped with a LED source and was tested in compliance with
the applicable IEC 62471 or IEC/TR 62778 standards (photobiological safety of
luminaires) and classified as follows: LED1.
The replacement of the light source and battery contained in this lighting
system must only be performed by the Manufacturer, their service agents or
similarly qualified personnel.
Clean with a soft cloth and non-abrasive neutral cleaner. Avoid any contact of
liquids with electrical components.
This luminaire is equipped with a rechargeable battery, therefore avoid
exposure to excessive heat, such as hot surfaces or direct sunlight in order
to prevent hazardous battery overheating.
To charge the fixture please use the cable and adapter included in the supply
or, as an alternative, an equivalent replacement part.

Can I use lamp straight out of the box?
It is recommended that lamp is initially charged without use for a minimum of
3 hours Can lamp be used and have power plugged in?
It is recommended that when lamp is in use it not be plugged to
charger. What

When lamp is in use and on position 1 (lowest intensity) lamp will have 16 hours of use; the first warning of lamp requiring to be charged is 4 consecutive blinks, lamp will still function for 45 min; then the second warning of required charge is 6 consecutive blinks, lamp will continue to function for another 45 min then a third warning of 8 blinks and dim down to a very low intensity warning it requires to be charged for a minimum of 3 full hours. If lamp is used sporadically and turned on and requires to be charged it will blink immediately upon being lit.

When lamp is in use and on position 2 (medium intensity) lamp will have 8 hours of use; the first warning of lamp requiring to be charged is 4 consecutive blinks, lamp will still function for 30 min; then the second warning of required charge is 6 consecutive blinks, lamp will continue to function for another 30 min then a third warning of 8 blinks and dim down to a very low intensity warning it requires to be charged for a minimum of 3 full hours. If lamp is used sporadically and turned on and requires to be charged it will blink immediately upon being lit.

If lamp is used sporadically and turned on and requires to be charged it will blink immediately upon being lit.
