1. Insert/replace the battery

Insert/replace the battery

  • A Remove the back plate with a flat screwdriver by placing it at the bottom between the back and front plate of the rotary dimmer
  • B Place a CR2032 battery in the rotary dimmer
  • C Click the rotary dimmer back on the back plate. When replacing the back plate, make sure that the arrows on the back plate and in the rotary dimmer both point up.

2. Send ON-OFF signal

  • A Press the button on the rotary dimmer 1x shortly to send an ON signal. The LED on the dimmer flashes 1x green.
  • B Press the button on the rotary dimmer 2x shortly to send an OFF signal. The LED on the dimmer flashes 2x red.

3. Pair a Trust Smart Home receiver

  • A Activate the learning mode of the receiver (Consult the receivers manual on how to put it into the learning mode).
  • B When the learning mode is active, give an ON signal by pressing the button on the rotary dimmer once to pair it to the receiver. The LED on the rotary dimmer flashes 1x green.

4. Dim Trust Smart Home dimmer

Give an ON signal to switch on the lamp

  • A Turn the rotary dial to the right to increase the light intensity of the lamp
  • B Turn the rotary dial to the left to decrease the light intensity of the lamp

Optional: Follow below steps if you want to use the rotary dimmer to dim an ALED lamp.

A Remove the battery from the dimmer for 5 seconds.
Place the battery back in the dimmer. (See step 1 “Insert / replace the battery”). B Give within 6 seconds after placing the battery an ON signal with the rotary dimmer and keep it pressed until the LED flashes 2x red (6 times).

To increase or decrease the brightness of an ALED lamp, turn the knob slowly to the right or left.

To return to the original settings, in step B keep pressing the rotary dial until the LED flashes 6x

5. Mount the rotary dimmer

  • A Mount the rotary dimmer with double-sided tape
    If you want to mount the rotary dimmer using the supplied double-sided tape, apply the double-sided tape to the back plate of the rotary dimmer.
    Place the rotary dimmer (with the LED on the top) at the desired location on a flat surface.

  • B Mount the rotary dimmer with screws
    If you want to mount the rotary dimmer using the supplied screws, first remove the back plate from the rotary dimmer (see chapter 1 step A ) and screw it tightly to the desired location.

**** When mounting, the arrow on the back plate must point upwards. Then click the rotary dimmer back on the back plate.

When mounting on a wall box, make sure it is placed at even height with the wall and that the back plate is hand tightened to prevent bending of the back plate.

Put the receiver in the learning mode (see the manual of the receiver for information on how to activate the learning mode).

When the receiver is in learning mode, send an OFF signal with the rotary dimmer. The LED on the rotary dimmer flashes 2x red.

Optional: Choose Dimming mode

Optional: Unpair a Trust Smart Home receiver

Note: Only for ACC-250-LD and ACM-250-LD: Switch to a different dimming mode for more dim steps. To switch to a different dimming mode, remove the back plate from the rotary dimmer. (See chapter 1 step A ). After this move the switch from position 1 to position 2. Place the back plate back on the dimmer. To dim other Trust Smart Home dimmers, the rotary dimmer must be set to position 1.
