1. Operating mode settings
The charger supports 4 different battery chemistries: LiPo, LiHV, LiFe and
NiMH
The charger supports 4 different modes:
CHARGE=Balance Charge
STORAGE= Storage
CellBAL = Cell balancing
DISCHG = Discharge
Remarks:
The balance charge mode is a synchronized charging and balancing process. In
this mode, a battery will be balanced and charged to a preset cutoff voltage.
The Cell Balancing mode of this charger is used to equalize voltage difference
of a multiple cell battery. In this mode, if the voltage is lower than 4.05V
per cell of a LiPo battery, or 3.35V of a LiFe battery, the charger will
balance the cell voltage and charge the battery to 4.05V(Lipo) and
3.35V(LiFe). Otherwise, If the voltage is over than 4.05V per cell of a LiPo
battery, or 3.35V of a LiFe battery, the charger will enter balance the cells
only without charging to be full.

COMMON ERRORS AND SOLUTIONS
NO | Error status | LED Li, | Reason of Error | Solution |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Balance port error 1 | Cell count is set Incorrectly | 1.Click the button |
of Back /Stop to exit the error status. 2.Check the cell count setting and be
certain it is correct for battery being charged.
2| Balance port error 2| | Cell count is set incorrectly
The charger detected the single cell voltage is below 0.6V through the balance
port.| 1.Click the button of Back /Stop to exit the error status.
2.Check the cell count setting and be certain it is correct for battery being
charged.
3.tf the setting parameter is consistent with the actual one. the abnormality
still occurs. Use the charger PROGRAM SELECT LI BATT METER’ to read the
voltage of each cell and check it.
Check the balancing cables for poor contact or breakage
| Over voltage protection of main port in charger interface| | The battery
voltage exceeded the Max charging voltage of charger. The definition is showed
as below:
LipoA.5 Number of series /Li, :4.6 Number of series LiFe:4.0’s Number of
series /NiMH: 1.8′ Number of series (Wrong battery type or over voltage)|
1.Click the button of Back /Stop to exit the error status.
2.Check he setting series and actual series • if not match, revise setting
series and actual series consistently.
3.11 you had set the charger and actual series consistently, charger still
shows the error. Use the charger function”PROGRAM SELECT LI BATT METER’ to
read every cell ‘s voltage. If the total voltage has exceeded the setting
standard, please to discharge the battery voltage standard or below.
I .7 1| Over voltage protection in balance port of charger| | The voltage of
single cell exceeds the max setting voltage.
Setting standard as below: LIP0:4.5V/LIFIV:4.6V LIFE:4.OWNIMH:1.8V| 1.Click
the button of Back /Stop to exit the error status.
2.Use the charger function”PROGRAM SELECT LI BATT METER’ to read every cell ‘s
voltage. To discharge the voltage of single cell or the total voltage of whole
battery, until the voltage of single cell is below the setting standard.
5| Battery interface no Loading/low voltage short circuit protection| |
-Battery interface (main port) no Loading
-Battery interface (main port) low voltage(52.5V) -Battery interface (main port) short circuit protection| .
1.0 lick the button of Back (Stop to exit the error status.
2. Check the battery interface port is without loading: check the if there is
poor contact in the charger interface with battery
3.Check whether the battery is over discharge.(the total voltage 52.5V).Use
the charger function-PROGRAM SELECT LI BATT METER to read every cell ‘s
voltage. If the total voltage is lower than 2.5V. it is over discharge and
suggest to charge before use.
3.Check whether the battery is short circuit.
Pull out the battery. and use the multimeter to test the battery checking
whether it is short circuit. If yes. please do not use the battery.
4.If you have check the 2/3/4. and the error is not solved. please contact the
professional for checking and maintaining.
6| Can not work| | circuit failure| Please unplug the AC plug for 30 second
before inserting.
7| Battery Voltage Error| | When the charger detected that the cell voltage
difference meet the following conditions, it will trigger a battery voltage
abnormal alarm: LiPo1LiHV: Single cell voltage <2.8V. voltage difference
V>400mV:
LiFe: Single cell vdtage <1.0V, voltage
difference V>500mV:| 1. Select “PROGRAM SELECT—. LI BATT METER” to read the
voltage of a single cell, If the voltage meets the abnormal trigger condition.
it means that the battery is faulty (the vdtage is too low or the voltage
difference is too large). It is recommended to stop using the battery and
discard it:
2, If the displayed voltage of ‘PROGRAM SELECT—. LI BATT METER” does not match
the actual battery voltage, check the balance port line against the voltage to
see if there is a bad contact or break.
