General Information and Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with
this type of product.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
and injury when correctly adhered to.
Please keep this user manual in a safe place along with your purchase receipt
and carton for future reference.
If applicable, pass these instructions and packaging on to the next owner of
the appliance.
Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when
using an electrical product.

Read all instructions before using the Prietto ® Drum Fan Heater.

Do not touch hot surfaces. The temperature of the outer surface can get very hot while the Fan Heater is in operation.
Allow the unit to cool completely before moving or cleaning. -
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Do not use the Fan Heater for other than its intended purpose.

Before turning on, ensure the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit corresponds to those indicated on the rating label of the appliance.

To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse this Fan Heater, cord set or plug in water or any other liquid.

The Fan Heater is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any type of separate remote control system.

The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.

This appliance is intended to be used indoors for household use only.

Do not use an extension cord unless completely necessary with this product.
If an extension cord is used please ensure that it has a rating equal or exceeding the rating of this appliance. -
Do not pull or carry by the cord, use the cord as a handle, close a door on the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away from heated surface.

Do not bend or damage the power cord.

Always unplug the Fan Heater when not in use.
To disconnect from the power supply, grip and pull from the power socket. Never pull by the cord.
The power plug must be removed from the power socket before cleaning, servicing, maintenance or moving the Fan Heater. -
Do not move or lift the Fan Heater while the power cord is still connected to the wall outlet or still on. Always ensure it is switched off and has cooled down before moving the Fan Heater.

Never force the plug into an outlet.

To reduce the risk of electrocution, never operate this product with wet hands, submerge under water or spill liquids into the product.

Do not use the Fan Heater near a window as rain may cause electric shock.

Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored.

Do not place the Fan Heater near a hot gas or electric burner.

Do not cover the appliance whilst in use. If it is covered there is a risk of fire.

Always use your Fan on a flat, stable surface.

Do not use this Fan Heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

Improper installation may result in the risk of a fire, electric shock and/or injury to person.

If the supply cord or plug is damaged, do not use the appliance.

The unit has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. -
The Fan Heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the Fan Heater.
CAUTION: Never leave this Fan Heater unattended while it is switched on.
CAUTION: Never leave the Fan Heater on whilst sleeping.
CAUTION: Never hang clothing or Manchester over the Fan Heater as it may
cause a fire.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by
persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant
supervision is provided.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or any
other flammable material a minimum distance of 1 m from the air outlet.
CAUTION: Do not use the Fan Heater if it has been dropped.

NOTE: When moving the Fan Heater you may hear a knocking sound.
This is the sound of the tip over switch and is normal.
It is a safety feature and not a product fault.
Before First Use
Prior to using your Fan Heater, please read all the safety and operating
instructions thoroughly.
Please ensure you follow the steps below before using this appliance.
We recommend you keep the original packaging for storing your Fan Heater when
not in use.

Unpack the product but keep all packaging material until you have made sure your new Fan Heater is undamaged and in good working order.
Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging material are out of their reach. -
Remove the twist-tie which is securing the electrical cord. Uncoil the cord and straighten it to remove any kinks.
Do not use the product if these parts are damaged. In case of damage, phone the After Sales Support Line on 1300 777 137. -
For your safety, read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the Fan Heater.
Operating Instructions
NOTE: You may notice a slight odour being emitted from the Fan Heater
during the initial use.
This is normal and the odour will cease with continued use
Using the Heat Function

Once the Fan Heater is ready to use, place it on a stable flat surface. Avoid placing on plush or shaggy carpet.
Ensure the power dial is in O (Off) position. -
Insert the plug into a power outlet and turn the power on.

Turn the power dial (see Fig. 1) to the heater element position.

Turn the thermostat dial in a anticlockwise direction to the maximum setting.

To find a suitable thermostat setting for you, first set the dial to the
maximum position (see Fig 2).
When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat dial should
be turned slowly in an anticlockwise direction until you hear the thermostat
“click” and the Fan Heater turns off.
After this, the Fan Heater will regulate and maintain the room temperature,
switching on when the room temperature drops below the temperature setting, or
switching off when the temperature setting has been reached.
CAUTION: Never leave this Fan Heater unattended while it is switched on.
CAUTION: Never leave the Fan Heater on whilst sleeping.
CAUTION: Never hang clothing or Manchester over the Fan Heater as it may
cause a fire.

WARNING: The outer casing of the Fan Heater can become very hot. Ensure
it is not in reach of children.
Using the Fan

Once the Fan Heater is ready to use, place it on a stable flat surface. Avoid placing on plush or shaggy carpet.
Ensure the power dial is in O (Off) position. -
Insert the plug into a power outlet and turn the power on.

Turn the power dial to the fan position.
-
Turn the Fan Heater off by turning the dial to the O position, switch OFF and unplug from the power outlet.
NOTE: If using the fan immediately after using the heater there may be
residue heat. Once the Fan Heater has completely cooled there will be no heat
emitted when using the fan only function.
NOTE: The fan speed cannot be adjusted and will always remain at a
constant speed.
Only when using the heat setting it can be adjusted from between low and high
heat.
Safety Overheat Protection
For safety, the Fan Heater has safety overheat protection. If the temperature
inside the Fan Heater becomes too high, the Fan Heater switches off
automatically.
- Turn the Fan Heater off by turning the power dial to the O position, switch OFF and unplug from the power outlet.
- Allow the Fan Heater to cool down for approximately 20 minutes. After this time has elapsed, plug the Fan Heater back into the power outlet and turn the Fan Heater back on.
NOTE: When the safety overheat protection is activated always check for
visible obstructions of the air inlet.
Remove any obstruction or use a vacuum or soft cloth to remove any build up of
dust that may be present.
NOTE: Ensure the Fan Heater is not placed too close to walls, curtains or
furniture, as it can restrict air flow, which can cause the Fan Heater to
overheat.
Safety Tip Over Switch
The Fan Heater is fitted with a safety tip over switch which will
automatically switch off the Fan Heater if it is tipped over.
Always ensure that the Fan Heater is placed on a flat stable surface when in
use.
NOTE: When moving the Fan Heater you may hear a knocking sound.
This is the sound of the tip over switch and is normal. It is a safety feature
and not a product fault.
Other Useful Information
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always switch off and unplug the Fan Heater from the power outlet before
moving or cleaning.

To clean the exterior of the Fan Heater, wipe over the surface with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners. -
To clean the front or rear grille and the motor air vents, use a vacuum cleaner to remove light dust.

If the Fan Heater is not used for long periods (e.g., over summer), it is recommended to store the Fan Heater in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
Warranty Information
Congratulations on your purchase
This Prinetti® Drum Fan Heater is warranted to be free from defects in
material and workmanship under normal use and service conditions for a period
of 12 months from the date of purchase of this article.
Evidence of unfair usage or incorrect adjustment by the owner will void this
promise.
Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care,
will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion.
The benefits conferred by this manufacturer’s warranty are in addition to all
other rights and remedies in respect of the product which the consumer has
under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail
to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure.
Conditions of Warranty
All warranty coverage extends only to the original retail purchaser from the
date of purchase.
Please keep your receipt, tax invoice or other proof of purchase.
This warranty does not extend to any damage to a product caused by abuse,
improper or abnormal usage, or repairs not provided by us or our Service
Centre.
Nor does this warranty extend to products used for commercial or rental
purposes.
This warranty does not cover ordinary wear, tear and weathering, failure to
follow directions, improper installation, improper maintenance or acts of God
(such as damage caused by storms, lightning, heavy winds and by snow or ice).

For efficient processing of your enquiry please have proof of purchase, the
date of purchase and the retailer name you purchased the item from, and the
brand on the product.
Photos of the product, and scans of receipts, may be requested to assist with
your claim.
The service centre representative will assess the claim. If:

There is a minor fault, they can offer either a replacement spare part, replacement unit, repair or other suitable remedy.

There is a major fault, they can offer a replacement, repair or suggest you return to the store you purchased it from for a full refund.
NOTE: A request for compensation will need documentary evidence of the loss or damage suffered.
It will also need to be evidenced that such a loss was a reasonably foreseeable result of a failure by Uncle Bill’s to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law. -
The product was damaged through abnormal use, no refund or repair can be offered.
If the product needs to be returned and all the warranty criteria has been
met, the consumer is to return the product to the place of purchase (along
with their proof of purchase) and all costs involved with this will be the
responsibility of the consumer.

technical support, replacement parts and accessories, and to efficiently
handle all warranty related matters.
Please note upon receiving your warranty claim our Service Centre will send,
