Read All Instructions Before Using
Please read this entire manual before using your MEATER product Failure to
follow these instructions could result in property damage, bodily injury, or
even death. If you are assembling this product for someone else. provide this
manual for the owner to read and save for future reference. A
WARNING
Burn Hazard Failure to follow the warnings below may cause the MEATER Probe to
explode and lead to serious injury or burns.
- Always insert MEATER Probe past the safety notch to avoid product damage and personal injury DO NOT use MEATER Probe when cooking at temperatures above 527F/ 275 C or over a direct flame
- DO NOT place MEATER charging unit directly on the grill cover, or too close to any hot surface.
- DO NOT remove MEATER Probe while Probe is exposed to heat. MEATER Probe must be inserted and removed from food away from all heat sources. Always use eye protection when removing a MEATER probe that has exceeded the maximum temperature or come in contact with hot charcoals or direct flames.
- DO NOT use MEATER Probe when searing. IF the MEATER Probe falls into the fire or direct heat source, close the lid of the grill/cooking appliance and turn off the grill or cooking appliance immediately. Allow the MEATER Probe to cool completely before removing.
- DO NOT allow MEATER Probe to come in contact with hot charcoal or coals.
- DO NOT use MEATER Probe when cooking directly above hot charcoals or coals.
- Probe will be hot during and after use. Use heat resistant gloves when handling probe.
Foodborne luness Hazard
Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, or seafood may increase your risk
of foodborne illness. Always cook your food to USDA safe temperatures
CAUTION
Product Damage Hazard
- Always insert probe past the safety notch to avoid damaging probe.
- DO NOT use probe in a microwave or pressure cooker.
- DO NOT place probe charging dock on any hot surface.
- DO NOT drop probe onto hard surfaces.
- DO NOT use cleaning products containing alcohol. ammonium, benzene, or abrasives, all of which could damage the device DO NOT submerge probe in water for long periods of time.
- DO NOT run the probe under cold water immediately after cooking. Let the probe cool down prior to washing.
- DO NOT exceed probe internal sensor limits of 212’F (100’C) or probe ambient sensor limits of 5277F (275’C). Temperatures above these maximums may damage probe.
- DO NOT expose the MEATER charging unit to moisture. Keep it covered in inclement weather, and do not put it in the sink. Store probe in a dry. cool place when not in use This product is only designed for use in food. Use it only for its intended purpose.
Sharp Point Hazard
Always keep probe pointed away from fingers and body. Contact may result in
injury. Keep out of reach of children

What is the maximum temperature MEATER can be used at?
The maximum temperature the ambient tip of the MEATER probes can withstand is
527F (275C
The maximum temperature the internal temperature sensor can withstand is 212’F
(10o’C). Make sure to always insert the MEATER probe into your meat past the
safety notch to avoid damage to the intemal sensor
To ensure the safety of the probe, the MEATER app will alert you when you get
too close to these limits. Ifyou need any assistance using your MEATER device

Important Safety Information
Charcoal Grill Cooking
Always Insert MEATER Probe passed the safety notch.
Ensure the MEATER is firmly inserted and not loose before cooking.
DO NOT cook with MEATER if the MEATER probe can’t be inserted past the
insertion notch.
Always wash your hands after handling raw meat.
Place meat containing MEATER over indirect heat on your grill
DO NOT cook with MEATER Over direct heat (directly over the coals).
DO NOT remove your MEATER until after removing the meat from the grill
Always use eye protection when removinga Probe that has exceeded the maximum
temperature or come in contact with hot charcoals or direct flames
Carefully remove the meat from the grill when prompted by the MEATER app
DO NOT remove the MEATER from the meat while on the grill
Ensure the ambient temperature has reduced to safe levels before removing the
MEATER probe.
If the probe is difficult to remove. pull and twist the ambient end.
DO NOT bend the probe against the meat. Always remove the MEATER probe before
searing
Once MEATER is removed. you can reverse sear your steak over direct heat
(above the coals) on your grill for a delicious finish.
DO NOT sear your meat with a MEATER probe inserted.
Once your meat is seared, serve and enjoy!
