You’ll find instructions on the use and care of your electronic ear buds.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE:
ALWAYS TEST FIT EARTIP WITH THE SOUND TURNED OFF
- Select one of the enclosed ear tips based on size of ear canal and intended purpose of use. The foam tips are intended for maximum hearing protection and isolation. The silicone tips are primarily for listening to media or phone calls. You may need to experiment with each size ear tip to find the most comfortable and secure fit.
- Select the proper size ear tip to fit your ear canal. Use the largest size that fits comfortably for most protection. The ear tip should form a complete seal blocking out sound. This is critical to achieve the highest NRR rating and protect your hearing.
- Grip the unit by the ear hooks in both hands. With the controls behind the head, gently extend the cables until the ear hooks are over the ears. Place the tips into the ear with a gentle rocking motion until the tips are fully inserted into the canal.
- Test for fit with earphone turned off. Clap your hands and listen to the sound level. If the ear bud tips are the correct size and properly inserted ambient sound should be significantly muted. If not, repeat steps 1-3 with an alternative size ear tip.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Turning the Unit
On and Off
- Short press on the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to turn the unit on. The LED will turn green to indicate unit is powered on and hear through is active.
- When unit is powered on, short press on the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to turn the unit off. The green LED light will turn off.
Hear Through Instructions
- The default sound level when powered on is set at 0 dB of gain. Compression is always on.
- Short press on the AMPLIFICATION VOLUME UP/DOWN BUTTON will move through 6 settings. 3 beeps will sound when reaching the max or min amplification level.
Release Time Settings
- Short press on the RELEASE TIME ADJUST BUTTON to change modes between Fast Release and Slow Release time settings.
- The default setting when the unit is turned on is Slow Release. One beep will be heard when in Slow Release mode.This mode is more appropriate to supress continuous loud sounds and echos.
- A short press on RELEASE TIME ADJUST BUTTON will change to Fast Release. Two beeps will be heard when the mode is changed to Fast Release mode. Fast Release setting is more appropriate for impact sounds.
CHARGING THE UNIT
- Gently open the charging port rubber cover.
- Insert the USB-C charging cable to an AC charger (not included) or a USB port on your computer.
- Insert the USB-C end into the charging port.
- The LED indicator turns red while the unit is being charged.
- Once the unit is fully charged the light will turn off.
Charging time is approximately 2 hours.
Battery life is approximately 25 hours.
LOW BATTERY WARNING:
A voice prompt will indicate when battery power reaches 5% remaining
The Stealth 28 HT contains a 200 mAh 0.74 Wh Li ion battery .
This battery is UN 38.3 tested safe for carry on air transport.
CARING FOR YOUR STEALTH 28 HT
Remember that your Stealth 28 HT is a quality instrument and should be treated in the same careful manner as any other precision-engineered device.

Never allow any liquid to enter the Stealth 28 HT as this may damage the components within the device.

Do not store your device in any location which would expose it to excessive heat (e.g. direct sunlight, heaters, or radiators.)

Be careful not to drop the device as this may damage its components.

Never insert any foreign objects into your device; it could result in serious damage to the instrument.

Never permit solvents to come into contact with your device as this can damage the unit.

Clean your device by wiping with a damp (not wet) cloth moistened with an antiseptic liquid.

Remember to clean your ear after showering or swimming before inserting the ear bud.

Use a qualified power source when charging to guarantee proper functioning.

Do not try to repair or disassemble the Stealth 28 HT yourself.

We recommend replacing your foam ear tips periodically as the foam maybe come hard or unsanitary. Use Pro Ears ear tips as not all replacement tips have the same
dimensions and may not provide the same attenuation. -

SERVICE AND WARRANTY
Your Stealth 28 HT is covered by a manufacturer’s limited warranty. This
covers all manufacturing and material defects. Problems arising from improper
handling or repairs made by unauthorized party are not covered and may void
the warranty. Please contact Customer Service for details of this warranty.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Altus Brands warrants this product to the original purchaser to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and conditions for a
period of one-year parts/90 days labor from the date of the original purchase.
Under this warranty, this unit will be replaced or repaired at our option,
without charge for parts or labor, excluding batteries, for a period of 90
days after the purchase.
After 90 days, the cost of labor with Shipping/Handling and Insurance of
$29.95 is the customer’s responsibility.
This warranty is void if any of the following occur:
- The warranty card was not sent in at the time or purchase
- The unit is not owned by the original purchaser at the time of the warranty claim
- The unit has been tampered with, opened or punctured
- The unit has been immersed in water or other liquids, allowed to be filled with dirt or dust, or otherwise physically abused
- The 12-month limited warranty has expired
This shall be the exclusive written warranty of the original purchaser and
neither this warranty or any other warranty, expressed or implied, shall
extend beyond the 12-month period listed above.
In no event shall Altus Brands, LLC be liable for consequential damages,
consequential property damage, or consequential personal injury. (Some states
do not allow limitations on implied warranties
or exclusions of consequential damages, so that these restrictions may not
apply to you). This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have
other rights, which vary from state to state.

The Stealth 28 HT is used to reduce harmful loud sounds like gunshot noise.
Gunfire is a hazardous exposure noise. Altus Brands carries no implied
guarantee for over-exposure to noise. We recommend hearing tests to insure the
continued health of your hearing.

1. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference.
(2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference
that may cause undesired operation.
2. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
