HDMI Display Setup
HDMI Display for MAC OS
Notes before Use
- Make sure your Mac supports video output, and HDMI connector is fully inserted into HDMI ports of the docking station.
- For Mac OS laptop, it is turned on in Non-mirror Mode by default. The laptop screen can display different from the two external monitors.
- Mac OS DOES NOT support 3 different screens.
- HDMI port supports 4K 60Hz Max. If 4K 60Hz is required, please make sure your Mac & Monitor & HDMI cable support 4K 60Hz.
Connect the docking station to your Mac,
(tick as per your needs) to set up HDMI Display. Default: Non-mirror Mode.
Resolution Setting
to select the resolution supported by all devices.

NewQ docking station supports 4K 60Hz Max.
The actual frame rate supported is subjected to the minimum resolution of the connected devices. -
For Mac OS laptop, only one display device will be listed in Resolution Setting even when two display devices are connected.

For additional settings, go to ti> System Preferences> Displays.
Sound Setting
Connected with two display devices (with built-in speaker)
to select the display device. Both display devices will play with sounds, but
only one device is listed.
Or you can set direct”{ by clicking 1111 on the top right of the Status Bar.
Connected to two display devices (one without built-in speaker)
- If one of the display devices is not equipped with built-in speaker, the sound comes out from the Mac OS laptop by default.
- To transfer the sound to the display device with speaker, unplug the one without built-in speaker, then follow the Step 1 to select the display device.
Connected to audio devices
When connected with headphones or other audio device, go to System
Preferences > Sound > Output to select the audio device.

- Make sure your Windows laptop supports video output, and HDMI connector is fully inserted into HDMI ports of the docking station.
- Two HDMI ports share 4K 60Hz Max. If 4K 60Hz is required, please make sure your Windows laptop & Monitor & HDMI cable support 4K 60Hz.

Mirror Mode 1:
Mirror Mode 2:
Press Right-click on the desktop +
Display settings + Multiple displays + Duplicate desktop on 1 and 3 + Keep
changes .
Extend Made 1:
Extend Mode 2:
Press Right-click on the desktop +
Display settings + Select and rearrange displays + Apply + Multiple displays +
Duplicate desktop on 2 and 3 + Keep changes.
Second Screen Only Mode :
- Right-click on the desktop
- Display settin911
- Advanced display settings
- Select the corresponding Display (1/2/3)
- Click “Display adapter properties for Display 1”
Click ·uat All Modet1″, select the resolution supported by all devices and Apply.
NewQ docking station supports 4K 60Hz Max.
- In Extend Mode: The resolution of the connected devices can be set separately (share 4K 60HZ MAX).
- In Mirror Mode: The actual frame rate supported is subjected to the minimum resolution of the connected devices.
Right-click the at the bottom right of the Taskbar
Sound•
“Playback” tab to select the device to be played .
For convenient settings, please 90 to Graphics Control Panel.
