Safety Information

Servicing and maintenance of the installed device must only be performed by trained personnel  Once the table is installed, you must check the proper functioning of its safety features Make sure that all persons working with the table are duly instructed and follow approved procedures and specifications Read the following instructions carefully before using the table:

  • Always keep the instruction manual on hand
  • Perform regular maintenance to ensure the table is fully functional
  • Ensure the water in the tank is changed regularly and dispose of contaminated water in accordance with valid legislation on handling hazardous waste
  • Once the table is placed where you intend to use it, always secure it against movement using the brakes on the casters

Maintenance Instructions

Relocating the Table
Before relocating the table to the chosen spot, drain the water from the tank using the drain valve. More details below Extend the arm of the CNC unit so that the torch is as far from the CNC unit as possible Disconnect the plasma power supply from power and remove it from the shelf Remove the cut material from the gridThen release the caster brakes and move the table to the chosen spot Be mindful of personal safety during transport: secure the water tank, grid and shelf from sliding/falling out. Once the table is at the chosen spot, secure it in place using the brakes on the casters (4) and fill the tank (1) with water by following the procedure below 3

  • The water tank is loosely inserted in the table It must be secured against falling  if you wish to transport the table If needed, you can remove the tank before transport Keep the table in a horizontal position during transport

Replacing the Grid
After a time, the grid will start showing signs of wear: burnt holes and cuts on the most frequently used surfaces Replace the grid once visible signs of wear start showing Otherwise, the cut material may not be placed properly on the grid Pull the damaged grid out of the table by pulling upwards and to the side The grid weighs ca 15 kg The grid may have sharp edges

  •  Use personal protective equipment Wear work gloves during handling

Filling and Draining the Tank
The water tank is used to collect slag and waste created during cutting The water must be replaced if it is turbid or polluted Drain the water using the drain valve Once the water is drained, remove solid particles and dirt from the tank and clean the drain valve of sedimentTo fill the tank with water, connect a hose to the drain valve and secure it with a screw-on collar to prevent the hose from falling off or leaking You can also fill the tank from above through the grid If you are filling the tank through the grid, secure the hose so that the water does not leak outside the tankMaximum water level from the top of the tank is 3 cmMinimum water level is 5 cm from the bottom of the tank; otherwise, melted material might damage the tank.

  •  Dispose of contaminated water in accordance with valid legislation on handling hazardous waste
  • Required tools: 3/4 water hose, screw-on collar that matches the hose diameter, PH2 screwdriver
