AMES 2519100 NeverLeak Decorative Metal Hose
Warning
This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause

mouth. DO NOT drink water from the hose. WASH HANDS AFTER USE.
TOOL REQUIRED: #2 Phillips Head Screwdriver
ASSEMBLY
STEP 1:
Open the cover, and remove the crank with screw, leader hose, water system
inlet, legs, and leg screws.
STEP 2:
Hold the lid closed with one hand, rotate the unit upside down, and place it
on a clean, soft working surface. Install legs and screws in bottom corner
openings with open sides of legs facing inward as shown.
ATTENTION: BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE HOSE REEL DURING THIS STEP.
STEP 3:
Install crank on unit.
STEP 4:
Install water system inlet. The water system inlet can be positioned to face
forward, backward, or downward. To install the water system inlet, pull the
latch down, insert the water system inlet in the desired orientation, and lock
by pushing the latch back into place.
STEP 5:
Verify that the hose guide is lined up with the water system outlet. If
necessary, unlock the hose guide by lifting the latch on top of the guide and
align with the water system outlet. Re-lock hose guide for use.
INSTALLATION
STEP 1:
Uncoil the garden hose (not included) and insert the female end through the
hose guide. Ensure the rubber washer is inside fitting and attach a hose to
the water system outlet. Ensure it is tight to prevent leaking.
ATTENTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
STEP 2:
Close the cover and reel the hose onto the basket by turning the handle
clockwise as shown. Optionally, install the nozzle (not included) on the free
end of the hose.
STEP 3:
Ensure the rubber washer is inside fitting on the leader hose. Connect the end
of the leader hose to the water system inlet. Ensure it is tight to prevent
leaking.
ATTENTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
STEP 4:
Ensure the rubber washer is inside fitting on the leader hose. Connect the end
of the leader hose to the faucet. Ensure it is tight to prevent leaking.
ATTENTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN!
OPERATION
- STEP 1: Remove the length of the hose needed from the unit.
- STEP 2: Turn the water on at the faucet.
- STEP 3: Use a hose for watering
- STEP 4: Before rewinding the hose, bring the nozzle back to the unit, turn the water off and squeeze the nozzle for a few seconds to relieve pressure in the hose. Turn the handle clockwise to reel the hose in.
STORAGE
Turn the water off when not in use; store the unit in a shaded place. Drain water from the unit to prevent damage from freezing.
