this number down before installing your FINDER.
In order to start using your VEHICLE Finder 2.0, first you will have to
activate it online. Please enter the following link:

Start up
The moment you successfully activate your device; you can start
your FINDER. Please observe the following points before con-
necting the device to the vehicle battery:
- SIM card is already in the VEHICLE Finder 2.0
- The VEHICLE Finder 2.0 should not be attached to fuel lines or other combustible components.
- No other components of your vehicle should be damaged by the attachment.
- When installing the VEHICLE Finder 2.0 and therefore connecting it to your vehicle’s battery, beware that in order to supply your device with sufficient power, your vehicle’s battery may discharge. If the battery is intact and you are regularly on the road, this should not happen as your vehicle’s battery will be recharged constantly while driving. If this were not the case, check whether your battery is equipped with protection against battery discharge before connecting your VEHICLE Finder 2.0 and retrofit it if necessary. In standby mode, the Finder will need from 10 to 20 mAh approximately.
Please always observe the manufacturer’s specifications for your vehicle. Compensation claims due to incorrect connections are hereby excluded.
Installation
- Connect the VEHICLE Finder 4G 2.0 to the wiring harness via the black plug-in function and place it in the desired location. Please note that the deeper the GPS tracker is hidden, the harder it is to get a very good GPS signal.
- Connect the finder to the battery. Connect the red cable to PLUS (+). The black cable to MINUS (-).
NOTE! When connected to the power supply, the Vehicle Finder 2.0 switches
on immediately and the LED lights emit a signal. If the FINDER is not
connected to the vehicle battery, but at a different point (e.g. fuse box),
this can result in the ignition on / off function not being accurately
recognized. ATTENTION!
The poles must never be reversed.
Turning on
After a successful activation you can switch on the VEHICLE Finder 2.0. By
connecting the FINDER to the power supply the device has already been switched
on.
It is recommended to start VEHICLE Finder 2.0 for the first time in places
where the vehicle is not covered (not in the garage or similar).
Use
As soon as you have successfully completed your FINDER’s activation and installed it correctly, the device will be transmitting the first data set. After this, you will be able to visualise your FINDER’s real time location and its travelled routes on a mobile device or your PC. Use our App or enter the following link to do so.
The Portal will support you step by step with the help of its functions.

Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin (see
illustration). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in
household waste. Batteries containing more than 0.0005% mercury by mass, more
than 0.002% cadmium by mass or more than 0.004% lead by mass are also marked
with the chemical name of the pollutant below the dustbin symbol. The
abbreviation „Cd“ stands for cadmium, „Pb“ for lead and „Hg“ for mercury.
Disposal of electrical devices
The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) contains a large number of requirements for the handling of electrical and electronic equipment. The most important ones are summarised here.
-
Separate collection of WEEE
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment that has become waste is referred to as WEEE. Owners of WEEE must dispose of it separately from unsorted local waste. In particular, WEEE does not belong in household waste, but in special collection and return systems. -
Batteries and accumulators
As a rule, owners of WEEE must separate spent batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed in the WEEE before handing them over at a collection point. This does not apply if the WEEE is handed over to public waste management authorities and separated from other WEEE there for the purpose of preparation for reuse. -
Options for returning old appliances (WEEE)
Owners of WEEE from private households can hand it in to public waste management authorities or at the collection points set up by manufacturers or distributors as defined by the ElektroG. An online directory of collection and collection points can be found here:
https://www.ear-system.de/ear-verzeichnis/sammel-und- ruecknahmestellen.jsf -
Data Protection
Old equipment often contains sensitive personal data. This applies in particular to information and telecommunication technology devices such as computers and smartphones. For your own sake, please note that each end-user is responsible for deleting the data on the old equipment to be disposed of. -
Meaning of the „crossed-out dustbin“ symbol
The symbol of a crossed-out dustbin regularly displayed on electrical and electronic equipment indicates that the respective device must be separated from unsorted local waste at the end of its service life. -
Manufacturer registration number
As a manufacturer, within the meaning of the ElektroG, we are registered with the responsible foundation Elektro-Altgeräte Register (Benno-Strauß-Str. 1, 90763 Fürth) under the following registration number: DE33887550
