The Traxxas MAXX requires the use of LiPo batteries equipped with Traxxas High Current Connectors. See warnings and precautions about LiPo Battery use on the opposite panel. DO NOT use NiMh batteries with MAXX. All required batteries and chargers are sold separately and not included.
Recommended for 3s Operation (Top speed 45+ MPH): Traxxas #2872X 3s 5000mAh or Traxxas #2857X 3s 6400mAh.
Recommended for 4s Operation (Top speed 60+ MPH): Traxxas #2889X 4s 5000mAh or Traxxas #2890X 4s 6700mAh.
For up to 3s LiPo balance charging use Traxxas iD chargers #2970 or 2972.
For up to 4s LiPo balance charging use Traxxas iD charger #2971 or #2973.

This is a high-performance model which is NOT intended for use on public roads or in congested areas where its operation may conflict with or disrupt pedestrian or vehicular traffic. Read all enclosed information before operating. Fully illustrated, step-by-step instructions describe adjustment, operation, and required maintenance procedures. This model should not be operated in a crowd, indoors or without adequate space.
This model requires LiPo batteries. LiPo batteries have a severe risk of fire and injury if they are improperly handled, abused, or misused. User must read and understand all included instructions, warnings, and precautions regarding the handling, care, and use of LiPo batteries. A LiPo balance charger is required to charge the batteries. Consult Traxxas or your hobby dealer if you do not know what a LiPo balance charger is.
The vehicle is fully assembled, ready to run, and requires the following items for operation: 4 AA alkaline batteries, Lipo charger and LiPo batteries. These are available from your hobby dealer. In an effort to continually upgrade our products, Traxxas reserves the right to make improvements and modifications to this model, which may not be reflected in the photographs and specifications printed on this box.

IMPORTANT: Help the environment by disposing of your product responsibly. The wheelie bin logo indicates the product and batteries must not be disposed of in domestic waste. Please use designated collection points or recycling facilities when disposing of the item or batteries.
