IMPORTANT SAFETY STATEMENT

The device meets the requirements of Section 15 of FCC Rules. Its operation depends on the following two conditions:

  1. This device Will not cause any harmful interference.
  2. This device must accept any possible interference , including that may lead to abnormal operation of the device.

Note: This device has been tested according to Section 15 of FCC Rules, and meets the restrictions for Class B digital devices. These restrictions are intended to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference from household devices. This device will generate , use and possibly radiate radio frequency energy. It may cause harmful interference to radio communication if it is not installed and used as instructed.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur under specific installation conditions. Regulatory Safety Information

  1. Read this manual.
  2. Keep this manual properly.
  3. Pay attention to all warnings.
  4. Follow all instructions.
  5. Do not use this device near water.
  6. Clean it with dry cloth only.
  7. Do not block any vents, and install it according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  8. Do not install it near any heat source, such as the electric heater, hot air conditioner, heater or other heat generating device (including power amplifier).
  9. Do not destroy any polar plugs or grounding plugs with safety function. The polar plug has two inserts, one wide and one narrow. The grounding plug has two plugs and one grounding pin. Among them, the wide insert or grounding pin is used to ensure your safety. If the plug provided does not match your socket, please ask the electrician to replace a suitable socket.
  10. In particular, the plug and socket and power cord at the outlet of device should be protected from trampling or squeezing.
  11. Only attachments/fittings specified by the manufacturer can be used.
  12. vifa REYKJAVIK Speaker - icon 2 Only carts , pedestals , tripods , brackets or tables designated by the manufacturer or sold with the device can be used. When you use the cart, you should take care to move the cart/device combination to avoid overturning and damage.
  13. Unplug the power supply of this device when it is not used for a long time or during thunderstorm.
  14. If maintenance or overhaul is required, please consult relevant qualified maintenance personnel. In case of any of the following situations, the device must be overhauled: cable or plug damage, liquid infiltration , foreign matter falling in , rain and moisture , abnormal operation or device falling, etc.
  15. Disconnect the AC power supply of the device completely and unplug the power cord of the device from the power outlet.
  16. Important! This device cannot be placed on soft supports (such as bedding, blankets, etc.).
  17. The power plug should be kept available at all times.
  18. Throwing batteries into fire or stove, or breaking or cutting them with external force may cause explosion.
  19. The maximum ambient temperature should not exceed 45 C, and the minimum temperature should be 10 C ; the storage temperature should be -20 C to 40 C, and the transportation temperature should be 10 C to 45 C; the minimum air pressure standard is 5000m above sea level and the air pressure is 86 to 106Kpa.
  20. Placing the battery in an extremely high temperature environment will cause the battery to explode or leak age of flammable liquids or gases.
  21. Extremely low air pressure will cause leakage of flammable liquid or gas of battery.
  22. The product label is attached to the bottom of the product.
  23. Warning: If the battery is placed improperly, it will cause explosion. If it needs to be replaced , the same type of battery must be used.
  24. Warning : (External or internal) batteries should not be exposed to overheated environment such as sunlight, fire or similar heat sources.
  25. Warning: Keep the power supply available at any time. Keep a ventilation distance of at least 1cm around the product.
  26.  Please do not place any newspapers, tablecloths,
  27. curtains, etc. in the ventilated place to ensure ventilation of the product.
  28. Please don’t discard the battery at will to protect the environment.
  29. This product is used in tropical or moderate temperature.
  30. There is a danger of explosion if the battery is replaced with an improper model.

Warning:
Please do not let this device get wet in the rain or be affected with damp to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock. Do not place objects filled with liquid on the device, such as vases. Do not open the device. There are no parts that can be repaired by users in the device. There is risk of electric shock inside. Do not expose the device to dripping or splashing places. Do not expose the product to open flames, for example, burning candles cannot be placed on the product.

USER MANUAL OF REYKJAVIK

PRODUCT CARE This product is designed to provide advanced musical expression in normal living spaces. Rain, damp, high humidity or being close to heat sources may damage this product. The recommended temperature range is 5°C to 45°C (40°F to 113°F).
Cleaning
Vifa products are covered with beautiful and durable textile fabrics. Gently wipe with a lint-free cloth to remove non-oil stains or use a sticky stick to remove fine fabric lint.
Do not use a vacuum cleaner, which may damage the speaker device behind the fabric.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

When charging, connect the USB-C cable to the USB power adapter or connect the cable directly to the computer. The battery indicator will show the power status.

  • Please note, the USB power adapter is not included in this package. If the battery is not charged and the charge is less than 5%, the battery indicator will flash.

CONNECTING TO REYKJAVIK

Connecting with Bluetooth Start Reykjavik, and press and hold the MODE key until the status indicator is white and always on. Press and hold the MODE key until the status indicator flashes in blue. Enable Bluetooth paired with the device and select Vifa_REYxxxxxx as Bluetooth device. When the connection is established, the status indicator is blue and always on.

  • Turn off the product, press and hold the MODE key until the status indicator flashes white, and then release.
  • When playing, press the Mute/pause button to play or pause music.
    Wired connection Start Reykjavik, and press and hold the MODE key until the status indicator is white and always on. Use (a USB-C or b AUX) to connect the cable to the jack on the back and play music from the device. The status indicator is green and always on after the wired play connection is established.
  • When playing, press the Mute/pause button to mute or unmute music.
    Call Answer the incoming call
    When the green light flashes, it indicates that there is an incoming call. Press this button to answer the incoming call. Terminate a call
    During a call, press this button to interrupt the call. Reject a call
    Press and hold this button to reject the call. Mute
    During a call, press the Mute/pause button to mute or unmute, and the status indicator will flash in white.

16 Ensure that both Reykjavik speakers are on. Press the Link button of (the primary) speaker until the Link indicator flashes yellow. Repeat the above operation in the second speaker (sub-speaker).
    When two speakers are connected, their connection indicator lights are yellow and always on, indicating that the connection has been successful.
  • When the second speaker is connected, it will play the music of the previous speaker. Press the Link button to change the L-CH/R-CH. Press and hold the Link button to disconnect.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Factory settings Press VOL VOL+ and Power buttons together for about 3 to 5s, the green, white and blue indicator flashes for is respectively, and the prompt sound sounds. The Bluetooth connection list is lost, and paired devices need to be paired again to connect; The restart function is normal, and the Bluetooth connection list will not be lost.

LIMITED WARRANTY BY VI FA

This warranty applies only to products manufactured by Vifa (each ‘product”).
Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty covers only the product functions in normal environment as specified in the instruction manual, and does not include the faults caused by improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, such as accidents, water ingress improper packaging , lightning strikes, power surges or unauthorized tampering,and changes or modifications with out the authorization of Vifa. This limited warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of products determined by Vifa, and the transportation,relocation and installation expenses of products are not covered by this limited warranty.
Warranty Period
The warranty period is 12 months/1 year, unless otherwise stated in the documents specified in the purchase or specified by local laws and regulations. The warranty period takes effect immediately after the product is delivered to the customer. If the product is repaired/altered by any company or individual not authorized by Vita, or the serial number of the product is deleted from the product for whatever reason, the warranty period will stop immediately.
Vifa Provides You with
Within the applicable warranty period, if Vifa receives the effective notice of any product defect within the warranty coverage, Vifa will take any of the following measures according to the actual situation within a reasonable time after receiving the notice of defect:

  1. Repair the fault free of charge and use new or refurbished replacement parts.
  2. Replace with the same product.
  3. Refund the amount of the purchased product.

The response time may vary from country to country, including the shipping of available parts. All the defective parts replaced will become the assets of Vifa. Vifa has no obligation to repair, replace or refund the defective product before the customer returns it to the authorized dealer. Any replaced product may be new or almost new, providing at least the same functions as the replaced product. Repair or damage outside the limited warranty period is not covered by this warranty unless approved in advance.
How to Get Services
You should take the following measures in case of product defects:

  1. Refer to the user manual to identify and correct problems.
  2. If the problem cannot be solved by referring to the instruction manual , please contact the merchant/place where you originally purchased the product to inquire about the problem you want to solve.
  3. If necessary, Vifa will arrange to repair or replace the product. Please show the date and address of the original invoice for your purchase of the product. The terms of repair or replacement are determined by the explicit extended terms at the time of delivery between you and the merchant/place and the relevant legal terms of local electronic products, and are not covered by this limited warranty.

If you want to transport the product, neither Vifa nor the distributor is responsible for the damage of the product during transportation. Therefore,we always recommend that you pack your products in original cartons.
Other Rights
This limited warranty does not affect your legal rights. This limited warranty offers you specific rights under specific conditions. You may also have other mandatory legal rights, depending on the country in which the product was originally purchased. This limited warranty does not affect similar legal rights and does not prevent you from seeking any legal compensation under the law.
Limitations of warranty and liability
Except for any personal injury or property damage caused by Vifa’s gross negligence, Vifa’s maximum compensation shall not exceed the original price paid by you to purchase the product. In case of any personal injury and/or property damage caused by Vifa’s gross negligence, Vifa shall only be liable for compensation for its direct losses.
