How to pair the Bluetooth keyboard with your F1ac

Before you start pairing make sure that Bluetooth on your Mac/iPad/iPhone is on and that the Bluetooth keyboard is fully charged and on.

1. To connect the Bluet‹:oth keyboard to your Mac, bring it within 1 MS cm range from your Mac and press the “Fn“ and “P“ keys simultaneously to set the keyboard in pairing mode. When your Mac is the first device connected to the Bluetooth keyboard, B1 LED device 1I with flash blue.
2. Click the Bluetooth icon in the Menu baron your Mac Desktop. Select “Open Bluetooth Preferences …” in the drop down menu.
3. “Macally BTWKEYMB Bluetooth Keyboard“ will appear in the list of Bluetooth Devices. Please click on ‘Connect’.
4. Once pairing is finished, the Bluetooth keyboard shows “Connected” and B1 LED will be steady blue. The Bluetooth keyboard is ready to use with your Mac.
5. When your Nac prompts a message, “The keyboard can nd be identified…“ please follow the Keyboard Setup Assistant guide to identify the keyboard.
6. Select one of the available options: ANSI IUS English]/150 (British English, French, German, ltatan, Spanish, Dutch, etc.]/JlS [Japanese]. Then, click on the Done button.
7. To connect the Bluetooth keyboard to and her Mac, iPad or iPhone, press “Fn” and “B2” simultaneously, then Fn + P to stan the pairing process as explained above.

How to pair the Bluetooth keyboard with your iPad and iPhone

1. To connect the Bluetooth keyboard to your iPad/iPhone, bring it within 1 ft /25 cm range from your iPad/iPhone and press Fn and P keys simultaneously to set the keyboard in pairing mode. When your iPad/iPhone is the first device connected to the Bluetooth keyboard, B1 LED
   (Device 1] willflash blue.

2. Open “Bluetooth” Settings on your iPad/ìPhone. Bluetooth will automatically sœrch for new Bluetooth devices….

3. ‘Macally BTWKEY Bluetooth Keyboard’ will appear in the IJst of Bluetodh Devices. Please click on it to pair.

4. Once pairing is finished, the Bluetooth keyboard shows “Connected” and B1 LED will be steady blue. The Bluetooth keyboard is ready to use with your iPad/iPhone.

5. To Connect the Bluetooth keyboard to another Mac, iPad or iPhone, press “Fn” and “B2” simultaneously, then Fn + P to start the pending process as explained above.

How to use the Nacaííy Bluetooth keyboard

Switch between devices.
Press “Fn” and “B1”, “B2” or “B3” keys to switch and use the Bluetooth keyboard with a different Mac, iPad, iPhone.

Shortcut mode keys.
The top row keys on this keyboard can be used either as shortcuts [icons to perform specific tasks Cora standard function keys (F1-F1ó].

Shortcut key mode
Short cut key mode is the standard mode of this keyboard. Please find below the tasks of each shortcut key:

Please note, these shortcuts are not universal Certain shortcuts such as Search, and Home may not work on mac0S because they are meant to be used on iPad or iPhone. On the Other hand, some shortcuts may act completely different on different devices so you should try them out first.

Stardard function key male
Press the “Fn” and “Esc” keys simultaneously to switch to standard F1-F1d function key mode. Fn Lock LED will turn On. When you want to switch back to shortcut key mode, press the “Fn” and “Esc” keys simultaneously. Fn Lock LED will turn off.

To perform a secondary function without switching from shortcut key mode to function key mode and vice versa. press the “Fn” key with one of the top row keys simultaneously. For instance, when you are in shortcut key mode and you press the F11 key, volume will increase, but when you press the “Fn” and “F11” keys simultaneously, you will activate “Show Desktop” in Mission Control.

Important Notes:

• This Bluetooth keyboard has a built-in energy saving feature. It goes into Sleep Mode when not in use for a period of time. Press any key such as the “Space” key] to wake up your keyboard.
• Please wait for the Bluetooth keyboard to be connected before you enter your password during computer boot up.
• The pairing LED needs to be flashing during the pairing process. If it’s not flashing, press Fn and P again to start over the pairing process.

Warranty

Macally Peripherals warrants that this product will be free from defects in title, materials and manufacturing workmanship for one year in North America and two (2) years in Europe, Middle East and Africa from the date of the purchase. If the product is found to be defective then, as your sole remedy and as the manufacturer’s only obligation, Macally will repair or replace the product. This warranty is exclusive and is limited to the Macally BTWKEYMB. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, abnormal electrical or environmental conditions, or any condition other than what can be considered normal use. The liability of Macally Peripherals arising from this warranty and sale shall be limited to a refund of the purchase price. In no event shall Macally Peripherals be liable for costs of procurement of substitute products or services, or for any lost profits, or for any consequential, incidental, direct or indirect damages, however caused and on any theory of liability, arising from this warranty and sale. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy.
