FIREFLY Device, Model N1 Use Instructions:

  1. To turn the FIREFLY Device on, simply pull on the strap attached to the magnetic pin in the device until the pin is completely out.
  2. To turn the FIREFLY Device off, push the magnetic pin back into the small opening on the side of the device.

Note that devices configured to operate as “tags” are designed to be worn by the user. Devices configured to operate as “anchors” are designed to serve as hand-held or wearable reference points.
FIREFLY Device, Model N1 Charging Instructions:

  1. Place a FIREFLY Device on a charging pad, with the NAMATAD logo side up. The smaller LED will illuminate orange to indicate that the device is charging.

FIREFLY Device, Model N1 LED Lights:
There are two status-indicating LEDs on each FIREFLY Device which can be seen through the small window on the front of the device. When no LEDs are on, the device is powered off.
Charging LED:
The charging LED is the smaller of the two and illuminates orange when the device is being charged on a charging pad.
Operational Status LED:
The larger LED indicates the operational status of the device. The following is a description of potential illuminated colors and their corresponding status:
Red — The device is on but not initialized
Green — The device is on and fully operational
Blue — Bluetooth is operational

This device complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Namatad, Inc. could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user  s encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or  more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
– Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
– Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
