  • Use a measuring tape to measure the width of your lintel bar, measuring from the back of the lintel bar to the front of your fireplace.
  • Use the width measurement of your lintel bar to determine whether you will need the Long T-Brackets or the Short T-Brackets.
  • Assemble the 2 T-Brackets (long or short) to the 2 Lintel Clamps (C), using the Short Machine Screws (J).
  • Do not over-tighten the machine screws yet. Leave them loose. You will tighten them later when you adjust the width of the clamp.
