CAPP CR-MI1 Mini Incubator

INTRODUCTION

This is a mini incubator that can control temperature in the chamber for incubation experiments. The temperature ranges from -15°C from ambient to 60 °C. This equipment is of 22L capacity to hold different flasks up to 2L.
NOTE: This devices, cools based on the ambient temperature of the room. It is not designed to be used outside in the heat as it will not maintain the temperature in the camber which the samples needed. It works best when used indoors in a cool room.

INTENDED USE

This instrument is to serve the temperature control and homogeneous controlled environment required for cell culture or for biological & non biological samples to be incubated. This instrument is intended to use indoor only & should be used by trained staff in laboratory.

INSTALLATION

Place the incubator on a clean, level & stable surface. Position the appliance and allow it is to stand for two or three hours (ten hours in summer} before it is turned on for the first time to allow the system to settle. Do not position next to any heat source e.g. boiler or in direct sunlight etc.
A clearance of 5 inch must be left between the sides of the appliance and any adjacent cabinets or walls to allow for adequate air circulation. The appliance is not designed for recessed installation meaning it should not be built-in to the wall.  Remove the power supply from the white box inside the chamber and plug the wall end into the wall outlet. Install on a good firm level surface and any unevenness of the surface should be corrected prior to installation.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Do not use this item near water where it can be exposed to getting wet. Make sure the item is only operated from the type of power source indicated on the label. Do not add any attachments that were not originally included with the item as they may cause harm to the machine and become a safety issue. Also make sure power cord are placed in a position where they will not to waked on or damaged. Lastly, make sure not to overload power outlets by plugging in to many devices in one socket. Unplug unit when not in use for long period of time.

OPERATION

OPERATING THE INSTRUMENT
  1. Open front of the unit and place samples inside.
  2.  Plug the adaptor into the machines and then put electric plug into the wall.
  3. Turn power switch to “On” or “Cool”.
  4. Set the desired temperature ranging from -15°C from ambient (can go as low up to 2·q to 60°C.
  5. The temperature can be changed by pressing “UP” for increment & “DOWN” for decrement. The changed values gets saved automatically.
CALIBRATION

Adjustment of t he temperature off set

  1. Press up and down button simultaneously and hold down until display shows DOA as the image below.

  2. Set the required value within the range of ±S°C and acknowledge the entry and wait for automatic storage of value .

  3.  The new temperature is adjusted.

For example

  • The display value is 30°C but actual temperature is 28°C as measured by reference temperature probe.
  • Press up and down button simultaneously and hold down together until calibration mode is displayed 00A on the digital display.
  • Press down button twice and stop when digital display shows -002A.
  • The controller adds the adjusted offset to the displayed temperature.

NOTE: Only 1 offset value can be entered. The entered offset value is valid for complete temperature range. This means if the setpoint temperature is changed the same offset value remains.

CLEANING

Make sure to remove the machine from the well plug before cleaning and do not use abrasive cleaners. We suggest using a damp cloth.

WARRANTY STATEMENT

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase. Your product will be duly repaired upon prompt notification in compliance with the following conditions:
The warranty is invalidated by any non-factory modification, which will immediately terminate all liabilities on us for the products or damages caused by its use. The customer shall be responsible for the product or use of products as well as any supervision required for safety. If requested the products must be returned to the distributor in well packed and insured manner and all shipping charges must be paid.

NOTE: Some states do not allow limitation on the length of implied warrantiesor the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. This warranty is given expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
The purchaser agrees that there is no warranty of merchant-ability or of fitness for any intended purpose and there are no other remedies or warranties, implied, which extend beyond the description on the face of the agreement. This warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser.
Product received without proper authorization will not be processed for warranty or service. All items returned for service should be sent with postage prepaid in the original packaging or other suitable packaging, padded to avoid damage. We will not be responsible for damage incurred by improper packaging.
NOTE: This warranty is valid only if the warranty is registered with the supplier within 30 days from the date of purchase.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

In case the product is to be disposed of, the relevant legal regulations are to be observed.
