WARNING

FEATURES

The PulseAudio PA230BWA is an in-wall addressable Bluetooth audio receiver with a built in 2x30W amplifier in a single gang wall plate form factor, that creates a simple distributed audio system to stream music over Bluetooth. Equipped with a Class D, 60 watt in-wall power amplifier that supports 4 Ohm and 8 ohm speakers. Features two ways of connectivity including a stereo input (3.5mm jack), and Bluetooth 5.0 for a wireless connection. Automatically switches sources with the priority for Bluetooth connectivity. Install in one zone with the ability to install multiple units in one building, as each unit can be uniquely addressable. Connect the PA230BWA to a computer to address the ID and password to allow for multiple and unique amplifiers on the same site without issue! For an amplified 2 channel setup that is simple to operate with a clean look, the PA230BWA is a great solution to play and control music from your phone, tablet, or computer to an amplified single zone.

ONNECT AND OPERATE

NOTE: Ensure all speaker(s) and power wires are run in accordance to local laws and regulations. Before inserting the amplifier into the electrical box and wall, either note or remove the Bluetooth password found on the sticker on the back of the unit.

  1. Trace and cut out a single-gang hole in a wall and insert a single gang electrical box
  2. Connect speaker and power cables while making sure that power is not active and the unit is turned off by turning the rotary dial counter-clockwise
  3. Install the PA230BWA into the electrical box in the wall
  4. Connect power on the opposite end and turn on the unit by turning the volume knob clockwise
  5. Bluetooth (BT) status LED will quickly blink and will be in pairing mode
  6. Search and connect to the Bluetooth labeled: “Pulse BT”
  7. Enter the password that was found on the sticker on the back of the unit before installing into the wall
  8. For Aux-In source, plug-in audio cable and play

CONFIGURATION DEVICE NAME AND PASSWORD

  1. Connect a Micro USB Cable from the PA230BWA to a computer’s USB port
  2. Launch the PA230BWA Configuration Software tool found on the product page at www.vanco1.com (under the downloads tab)
  3. Select the corresponding Com Port from the drop-down menu
  4. Enter the new device name and click Write
  5. Enter a pin code/password that will be used to pair the PA230BWA to a Bluetooth device, and click Write

NOTE: A default password will be provided on a label on the unit

LIMITED WARRANTY

With the exceptions noted in the next paragraph, Vanco warrants to the original purchaser that the equipment it manufactures or sells will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Should this product, in Vanco’s opinion, prove defective within this warranty period, Vanco, at its option, will repair or replace this product without charge. Any defective parts replaced become the property of Vanco. This warranty does not apply to those products which have been damaged due to accident, unauthorized alterations, improper repair, modifications, inadequate maintenance and care, or use in any manner for which the product was not originally intended.
Items integrated into Vanco products that are made by other manufacturers, notably computer hard drives and liquid crystal display panels, are limited to the term of the warranty offered by the respective manufacturers. Such specific warranties are available upon request to Vanco. A surge protector, power conditioner unit, or an uninterruptible power supply must be installed in the electrical circuit to protect against power surges.
If repairs are needed during the warranty period the purchaser will be required to provide a sales receipt/sales invoice or other acceptable proof of purchase to the seller of this equipment. The seller will then contact Vanco regarding warranty repair or replacement.
