Vac-U-Seal Vacuum Sealer Wand

  1. Place food in Vacuum bag ensuring you do not exceed the maximum fill line.

  2. Lay bag flat with circular valve facing upwards and firmly slide fingers across zipper to close bag. Alternatively, you can place the bag zip lock into the bag closure clip, slide it back and forth with pressure to close the bag.

  3. Press nozzle over the orange air valve symbol and press the Start/Stop button until all the air is removed. Release the nozzle to stop vacuuming. Press the stop button when finished

  4. Place bag with food into Thermomix bowl when ready to cook. Alternatively, you can store bags in your pantry, refrigerator or freezer.

  5. If needed the reservoir can be cleaned. Remove reservoir by gently rotating, wash in warm soapy water and allow to dry before replacing.

IMPORTANT TIPS

  • For best results, use only with TheMix branded Vacuum Sealer bags
  • Vacuum packaging is not a substitute for the heat process of preserving.
  • When vacuum sealing, small amounts of liquid, crumbs or food particles could enter the orange valve, which can cause an air leak. To prevent this, we recommend hanging the bag over a table edge when vacuum sealing.
  • Do not overfill past the maximum fill line
  • Do not immerse applicance in water
  • Avoid using abrasive products or materials to clean any part of the applicance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Vacuum Sealer does not start when start button is pressed

  • Check Vacuum Sealer is fully charged.
  • Connect Micro-USB cable, if a red LED light displays the Vacuum Sealer is charging. A green LED light indicates the Vacuum Sealer is fully charged.

Vacuum Sealer starts but the bag does not tighten around food

  • Ensure bag is sealed tightly. Slide fingers, or closure clip, firmly along the double zip lock. Reposition the nozzle on the circular air valve making sure there are no food particles stuck in the air valve or in the nozzle.
  • Check air valve is on a flat surface before commencing.
  • Make sure the contents do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  • Check bag is not damaged or pierced. Replace bags if it shows signs of damage.

Air has re-entered the bag after sealing

  • Examine zipper and valve of bag. Food debris in either of these locations can allow air to re-enter the bag. Wipe over the zipper and valve and attempt to reseal.
  • Check for damage to bag and replace if necessary.
