Product Usage Instructions

Setting up the VaiNet Long-range Wireless Monitoring System:

Follow these steps to set up the monitoring system

  1. Place the AP10 Access Point in a central location for optimal wireless coverage.
  2. Connect the RFL100 Data loggers to the Temperature probe and place them in the desired monitoring locations within the Chamber.
  3. Install the viewLinc SERVER SOFTWARE on your designated computer.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) Configuration
To configure Power over Ethernet settings

  1. Connect the VDL200 PoE data logger to the Chamber for power and data transmission.
  2. Use the vNet (Ethernet interface) with DL data logger for Temperature readings.

Multi-port Ethernet Setup:
For setting up Multi-port Ethernet:

  1. Connect the PoE Ethernet Converter to the Switch or Router.
  2. Integrate the VDL200 PoE data logger with the Chamber for monitoring.

Transmitters Integration
To connect Transmitters
Use a Vaisala Indigo host device to connect various probes for measuring CO, Vaporized H2O, humidity, and temperature.

Modbus TCP & RTU Configuration:
To configure Modbus TCP & RTU:

  1. Integrate third-party Modbus TCP devices with the viewLinc SERVER SOFTWARE.
  2. Utilize the Indigo500 Host Device for Modbus RTU connections via Serial Server or Ethernet Interface.

Standard Wi-Fi Adaptor Usage
To use the Standard Wi-Fi Adaptor

  1. Connect Temperature Data loggers and probes to the Chamber with Wireless Ethernet Interface IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n support.

Q: Can I connect multiple Temperature probes to a single Data  logger?
A: Yes, some models support multiple channels for connecting more than one Temperature probe to a single Data logger.
