Product Usage Instructions
Setting up the VaiNet Long-range Wireless Monitoring System:
Follow these steps to set up the monitoring system
- Place the AP10 Access Point in a central location for optimal wireless coverage.
- Connect the RFL100 Data loggers to the Temperature probe and place them in the desired monitoring locations within the Chamber.
- Install the viewLinc SERVER SOFTWARE on your designated computer.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) Configuration
To configure Power over Ethernet settings
- Connect the VDL200 PoE data logger to the Chamber for power and data transmission.
- Use the vNet (Ethernet interface) with DL data logger for Temperature readings.
Multi-port Ethernet Setup:
For setting up Multi-port Ethernet:
- Connect the PoE Ethernet Converter to the Switch or Router.
- Integrate the VDL200 PoE data logger with the Chamber for monitoring.
Transmitters Integration
To connect Transmitters
Use a Vaisala Indigo host device to connect various probes for measuring CO,
Vaporized H2O, humidity, and temperature.
Modbus TCP & RTU Configuration:
To configure Modbus TCP & RTU:
- Integrate third-party Modbus TCP devices with the viewLinc SERVER SOFTWARE.
- Utilize the Indigo500 Host Device for Modbus RTU connections via Serial Server or Ethernet Interface.
Standard Wi-Fi Adaptor Usage
To use the Standard Wi-Fi Adaptor
- Connect Temperature Data loggers and probes to the Chamber with Wireless Ethernet Interface IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n support.
