How to connect EC6 Dual camera to NVR device?
The IMILAB EC6 Dual 2K WiFi Spotlight Camera (hereinafter referred to as
IMILAB EC6 Dual) is compatible with mainstream brand network video recorders
(NVRs) that support the Onvif protocol. You can choose an NVR based on your
requirements.
Preparation Steps
Before starting the configuration, please prepare the following devices:
IMILAB EC6 Dual, Router, NVR device, Display, Mouse, Network Cable (4 pieces),
Computer
Configuration Steps

Connect the individual devices using the network cable, ensuring that all devices are on the same Local Area Network (LAN):
- a. Connect the IMILAB EC6 Dual Camera by the network cable to the router;
- b. Connect the computer by the network cable to the router;
- c. Connect the NVR device by the network cable to the router;
- d. Connect the NVR device to the display and mouse.

Get the IP address of IMILAB EC6 Dual through the following methods:
- Method One: Get IP address through the Mi Home APP After binding the IMILAB EC6 Dual to the Mi Home APP, enter the product menu. Click on the upper right corner […] – [Settings] – [More Settings] – [Network Information] to find the IP address.
- Method Two: Get IP address through router interface
- a. Log into the interface of the router you’re using. You can view all devices connected to the router under [Terminal Management].
- b. Check the MAC address on the label of the IMILAB EC6 Dual power cord. Then, find the corresponding IP address in [Terminal Management].

Open your computer’s browser and type ‘https://
:54333’ in the URL bar, then press enter. For example, if your obtained IP address is 192. 168.10.3, then you should enter the following: -
Based on the URL you enter, you will be directed to the password settings page. Set your password and click [Next].

When the page below appears, it indicates that the IMILAB EC6 Dual has activated its Onvif functions.

Next, you need to bind the NVR device. Although the configuration interfaces of different NVR brands might vary, the main process is similar. You can follow this tutorial to proceed. In this guide, we’re using a TP-Link NVR device as an example.

The two cameras of IMILAB EC6 Dual must be linked to the NVR device individually. First, we’ll connect the lower camera. Open the NVR device and enter the management interface. Click [Add manually] and select [ONVIF] in the control protocol. The device, added through the ONVIF protocol, will automatically obtain the master sub-stream address. Then, enter the [username] and [password] set in step 4, and finally click [Add].

After the lower camera is added, you can find IMILAB EC6 Dual in the list of added devices according to the IP address of the device, at this time, its connection status is shown as [Connected], and the lower camera has be visible on the display.

To add the upper camera, go to the management interface, select [Add Manually]. Choose [RTSP] as the control protocol. Enter the [User Name] and [Password] from step 4, then click on [Manage RTSP].

Fill in [RTSP Port] and [Resource Path] in the mainstream and sub-stream respectively, and then click [Save]

After the upper camera is added, you can find IMILAB EC6 Dual in the list of added devices according to the IP address of the device, at this time, its connection status is shown as [Connected], and the upper camera has be visible on the display.

Now you can see the two live views from the IMILAB EC6 Dual on the display, and you can control the angle of one of the lower camera view.
