Introduction
Fusion’s sexiest, most affordable marine stereo, the MS-RA70, was created to provide a high-quality on-water entertainment experience by integrating some of the most recent marine technologies. Without rearranging dash space, it can easily replace any conventional DIN-sized non-marinized stereo. A high-end installation is guaranteed by clever style that gives an installer the choice of putting the stereo with a normal dash finish or by integrating it into a glass helm with a flush surface mount. Using the fusion-link Bluetooth app, you may stream music from any compatible device while controlling it from your linked smartphone or speaker. Easily access localized zone control, source navigation, and track selection by downloading the free fusion-link remote control app for Bluetooth on an Apple or Android device from iTunes or Google Play.
You can easily tailor and control your listening experience in each of the two discrete audio zones that are accessible, each of which has comprehensive localized menu features, including zone naming. Keep in mind that line out and sub out need more amplification (linked to zone 1). The MS-RA70 was specifically developed and engineered for the marine environment, and it features an IPX7 front panel (when installed appropriately) to survive the environment like no other. It also pairs nicely with an optically bonded LCD for a clear display on the open seas. The MS-RA70 provides marine quality entertainment to individuals who would typically have to settle with installing unfriendly and rust prone vehicle audio stereos. Rest easy, let Fusion entertain you on your smartphone, listen to USB MP3 audio, or simply relax to your local Am/FM station.

MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS
- The stereo can be mounted on a flat surface or in a single- DIN opening as a replacement for an existing stereo.
- The stereo must be mounted in a location that allows open airflow around the rear of the stereo for heat ventilation.
- If you are installing the stereo in a location that may be exposed to water, it must be mounted within 45 degrees of the horizontal plane.
- If you are installing the stereo in a location that may be exposed to water, the cable should have a drip loop to allow water to drip down off the cable and avoid damage to the stereo.
- If you need to mount the stereo outside a boat, it must be mounted in a location far above the waterline, where it is not submerged.
- If you need to mount the stereo outside a boat, it should be mounted in a location where it cannot be damaged by docks, pilings, or other pieces of equipment.
- To avoid interference with a magnetic compass, the stereo should be installed at least 15 cm (5.9 in.) away from a compass.
MOUNTING THE STEREO IN A NEW LOCATION
NOTICE
Be careful when cutting the hole to mount the stereo. There is only a small amount of clearance between the case and the mounting holes, and cutting the hole too large could compromise the stability of the stereo after it is mounted.
Before you can mount the stereo in a new location on the mounting surface, you must select a location in accordance with the mounting considerations.
- Trim the template and make sure it fits at the mounting location.
- Adhere the template to the mounting surface.
- Using a drill bit appropriate for the mounting surface, drill a hole inside the corner of the dashed line on the template to prepare the mounting surface for cutting.
- Using a rotary-cutting tool, cut the mounting surface along the inside of the dashed line on the template.
- Place the stereo in the cutout to test the fit.
- If necessary, use a file and sandpaper to refine the size of the cutout.
- After the stereo fits correctly in the cutout, ensure the mounting holes on the stereo line up with the pilot holes on the template.
- If the mounting holes on the stereo do not line up, mark the new pilot-hole locations.
- Using an appropriately sized drill bit for the mounting surface and screw type, drill the pilot holes.
- Remove the template from the mounting surface.
- Make the necessary wiring connections.
- Place the mounting gasket on the back of the stereo
- Place the stereo in the cutout.
- 14 Secure the stereo to the mounting surface using the included screws CV.
- 15 Snap the screw covers in place ®.

FAQs
Does the electrical harness come with it?****
The system comes with a very short pig-tail harness that you will need to connect to your fuse panel and run your speaker wires to so that you can link them to it.
it includes a cover, right? or must I purchase it separately?****
The cover is not included. Fusion One informed me that it would be available soon.
Does this device need a speaker amplifier?****
I installed one even though it is not necessary.
Can any fusion wired remotes be used with this device?****
FUSION MS-RA70N models can be controlled by compatible devices, such as the FUSION NRX200 remote control or a compatible multi-function on the same network, when connected to an optional NMEA 2000 network.
Can this device immediately link to Sirius using a dongle or another device?****
The RA70NXS can receive Sirius (still requires an additional receiver). To connect through the RCA Aux, this device would require both an external receiver and controller.
Is this compatible with the RA200’s mounting hole?****
Compare the two dimensions by searching online.
Is a subwoofer connectable without a separate amplifier? If so, do you have any advice?****
I’m unsure because I simply changed everything even though there was already an amp and subwoofer there.
Is this device compatible with the 160 GB iPod Classic?****
No. Only the fifth and sixth generations of the iPod Touch are available.
Where was it produced? Don’t respond if you don’t know. Thanks.****
In New Zealand
we share music by plugging 3.5mm wire into the aux ports of our boat “neighbors” this unit doesn’t have an aux port in front, but does it have in back?****
No, but there is a USB and an RCA aux connection. Bluetooth is your best bet to connect a phone. If it’s an older iPod, I would suggest USB.
What remote should I use with the MS RA70i?****
Any wired remote (Fusion) should operate this device, in my opinion.
Do software updates still come for this device?****
Yes
When connected, does the USB port truly charge your phone?****
Yes, it does.
Does this device have a built-in antenna? What’s inside the box?****
I don’t think it had an antenna because I just use Bluetooth. However, nice unit.
Pandora can this device stream?****
Your phone connects to the device using bluetooth while streaming Pandora.
