Clam Up Pouch Teacher: Jenny Yannone
Students will learn basic bag construction, double zipper installation, how create prairie points, how to use a stiletto, installing D-ring hardware and much more. This is an advanced beginner class.

Required Pattern: “Clam Up” byAnnie

Fat quarter of main fabric and Fat Quarter for lining and accents (Choose non-directional fabrics)

One double zip 24” or longer zipper or purchase a package of zippers by the yard, this will make all 5 sizes.

Stilletto byAnnie (This handy tool is awesome for making these)

11” x 14” pre-cut piece of Soft and Stable-This is for Medium size (If you purchase ½ yard package, this will make all 5 sizes)

Coordinated Isacord thread with matching bobbin

Large sheet of extra thick template plastic

Frixion pen and small sharpie to trace medium template

Small ruler (Suggest 3 ½” x 18” by Creative Grids)

Small rotary cutter with sharp blade (You can use store mats in class)

Sewing Machine in good working order, power cord, slide-on table

1/4″ Patchwork foot (#37, #57 or #97 for Bernina) If you have a dual feed machine bring a #37D foot.

Cut: One 14” x 11” piece of soft and stable foam, One 14” x 11” Main
fabric, One 14” x 11” lining fabric, Two 3 ½” square for grab tabs, Two 4 ¾” x
4” side panels, two 2 ¼” x 4
½” bindings (optional swivel strap 2 ½” x 5”- will need ½” D ring also)
