Product Usage Instructions

Installation of Fixture:

Ensure power is off at the main breaker box.
Unpack the fixture carefully.
Locate canopy assembly and uncoil supply/support cables.
Remove gripper plate attached to the canopy assembly by unscrewing the #8 screws. Thread supply wires through the hole in the canopy.
Raise the canopy to the electric box and secure it with two machine screws.

Installation of Alabaster:

Raise the fixture to a comfortable height for installing alabaster pieces.
Slide the stud with knob attached through alabaster and thread on remaining knob. Repeat for all alabaster pieces.
Slide alabaster pieces through slots in the fixture until the knobs rest on the light guide. Repeat for remaining quadrants.
Raise the fixture to the desired hang height and cut excess cable as close to the gripper as possible.
Restore electricity at the main breaker.

Q: What should I do if I am missing parts or need further assistance?
A: Contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product for assistance. Make sure not to proceed with installation if parts are missing.
Q: Can I adjust the fixture height after cutting the excess cable?
A: No, once excess cable is cut, the fixture cannot be lowered. Ensure you achieve the desired height before cutting the cable.

Caution: Do not exceed maximum wattage noted on fixture. Use only recommended bulbs with fixture.

CAUTION : BE SURE POWER IS OFF AT THE MAIN BREAKER BOX PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

Carefully unpack fixture (G) from the carton.
Locate canopy assembly. Uncoil supply/support cables (K).
Unscrew two #8 screws (D) that attach the gripper plate (E) to the the canopy assembly. Remove gripper plate and set aside.
Thread supply wires through hole in canopy (A). Raise canopy (A) to electric box and secure with two machine screws (not provided).
Note: A new electric box comes with screws. When replacing a fixture, retain the existing screws for use with the new fixture.
Using ground screw (H) and cupped washer (I) attach a ground lead from the canopy (A) to the electrical box.
Using the four lag screws (F) attach canopy (A) to a structural member in the ceiling. We’ve supplied lag screws with your fixture, however, different materials and/or construction methods may require different fasteners. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.

CAUTION: INSTALLER MUST ENSURE THAT THE MOUNTING METHOD IS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING THE WEIGHT OF THE FIXTURE.
While holding gripper plate (E) close to canopy (A), use suitable wire connectors (not provided) to connect driver wires to supply wires (white to white and black to black).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE WIRE CONNECTORS ARE TWISTED ON SECURELY AND NO BARE WIRE IS EXPOSED.
Reattach gripper plate (E) to canopy (A) using two #8 screws (D).
Feed the supply/support cables (K) through appropriate holes in canopy cover plate (C), making sure that the (+) cables go through the (+) holes and the (-) cables go through the (-) holes.
Hold canopy cover plate (C) close to canopy (A). Connect all ground wires (bare copper or green to bare copper or green) together.
Install canopy cover plate (C) and secure in place with cap (B).
Align (+) and (-) labels on the fixture (G) with the (+) and (-) labels on canopy cover plate (C). NOTE: Only two cables are power cables, the two not marked with a (+) or (-) are support cables only.
Insert supply/support cable (K) through gripper (J) on the fixture (G) until cable sticks through a slot in the side of gripper(J). (Figure 2)
Repeat step 12 for the remaining supply/support cables (K).
Follow steps on following pages to complete installation.

To Install Alabaster (Figures 3 & 4)

Raise fixture (G) to a comfortable height for installing alabaster pieces.
Locate alabaster pieces. The fixture comes with eight of each size of alabaster (L,M,N).
To install knobs, slide stud with knob attached through alabaster and thread on remaining knob. These can be found in kit bag. Repeat with remaining alabaster pieces. See Figure 3
Note: If more threads are needed, loosen knob from one side until there is a enough to engage other knob.
Each quadrant will use (2) of each size of alabaster. Slide alabaster (L,M,N) through slots in fixture (G) until the knobs rest on lightguide. Repeat for remaining quadrants.
Note: See Figure 4 and front page for alabaster orientation. Each quadrant has the same layout.
Raise fixture to desired hang height.
Once desired fixture height is achieved, cut excess cable (K) as close to the gripper (J) as possible.
CAUTION: Once excess cable is cut, fixture cannot be lowered.
CAUTION : Be sure no piece of the support cable is touching the fixture.
Restore electricity at main breaker.
