BATTERY CHARGER

  • This Battery Charger fits the 5KRB12 Battery model.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. WARNING: Read all safety warning and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
  2. For indoor use only.
  3. For use only with approved 5 VDC USB power source.
  4. Recommended ambient charging temperature: 5-40°C.
  5. This appliance is not intended to be used or cleaned by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. They should be supervised whilst using the appliance. Children shall not use, clean or play with this appliance, which when not in use should be secured out of their reach.
  6. Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries with this docking station.
  7. Follow all instructions.
  8. Do not use this appliance near or in water.
  9. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

GETTING STARTED

BATTERY CHARGING

NOTE: Do not place the charger in an area of extreme heat or cold. The Battery works best in room temperature.

USING THE DOCKING STATION

  1. Attach the USB cord to the 5 VDC USB power source.
  2. Turn the Battery upside down and slide the Battery onto the dock.
  3. Press down and the latch will snap into place.
  4. Upon initial plugging in the Battery into the charger, the Battery LEDs will alternate for a few seconds as it performs a self-diagnostic of the Battery status.
  5. After diagnostic is complete, the Battery will begin charging with a single LED flashing.
    LEDs will become solid in color as charging progresses. When Battery is fully charged, all LEDs will become solid and remain ON  for 1 hour.

NOTE: If initial alternating light pattern continue for more than 10 seconds, the Battery may be too warm or too cold to charge. Unplug Battery and allow it to stabilise to a normal room temperature and try charging again. If Battery still does not charge after this, unplug Battery and contact customer service.

SYMBOLS EXPLAINED
Do not dispose of waste batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Waste

batteries must be collected separately. Waste batteries and light source have to be removed from the  equipment. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice and collection point.
