Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Download and Install the App
Search and download the MotorSure app from the App Store or Google Play depending on your device.
- For Android : Download MotorSure MB Car Diagnostics from Google
- For iOS : Download MotorSure for German Cars from the App Store
Step 2: Register Your Account and Connect MotorSure OBD
- Open the app, register your account, and log in.
- Select the MB system (for iOS users) and continue.
- Plug MotorSure OBD into the OBD2 Port with ignition on but engine off. Ensure Bluetooth is on and connected.
Step 3: Connecting to Vehicle and Loading Data
- Establish the connection and wait for vehicle information to load. Ensure a constant internet connection.
- Loading may take up to 5 minutes for full system diagnostics resources to load.
Vehicle Information and Function Display
- After loading vehicle information, access the MOD at the bottom right for one-click mods including ambient lights.
- Select the feature and option to activate. Activation typically takes less than 30 seconds.
Note
- Do not unplug the device during activation.
- Do not turn off Bluetooth on your phone.
- Do not operate the vehicle during activation.

MOD-Activation is a unique MotorSure feature that allows you to enable or
disable various hidden, comfort, safety, and driving-related functions. With
no programming knowledge required, these pre-made programming functions will
quickly adjust your car’s comfort or performance, personalizing your driving
experience.

Step 2: Register Your Account, Log in to the App, and connect MotorSure OBD. (iOS is an example; Android is the same)

Open the App. For the first time, tap “Sign Up” to register with your email. Or start a quick log-in with Facebook, Google, or Apple.

Sign up and create your account (if choose to log in with your email): type in your email address, and send the code. Remember to check spam if cannot find the code from your Inbox.

After Sign Up, you will be guided back to login page. Use your email address and password to log in.

Now you have Logged in the App. Select the MB system here. Tap Continue. For Android users, no need to select.

Now Plug MotorSure OBD to OBD2 Port. Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Make sure the Bluetooth of your phone is on. Tap “Connect”. You will find MotorSure OBD in the list.
Step 3: Connecting to vehicle and loading for vehicle information
- Establish the connection and start data preparation for your vehicle. It requires a constant internet connection. It could take up to 5 minutes for the data to load because it will load the full system diagnostics resources.
- Loading completed. You will see the Vehicle information and function display

After loading vehicle information. You will enter this page. To program ambient light, you can directly access the “MOD” at the bottom right, as shown in the above image. Then you will find the list of one-click mods including ambient lights. If you have any questions, create a support ticket.
- Access the one-click mods list, and select the feature and option to activate. The activation normally takes less than 30 seconds. While activating:
- Do not plug out the device.
- Do not turn off Bluetooth on your phone.
- Do not operate the vehicle
