PRODUCT USING INSTRUCTION
Battery
- Two AAA batteries are included. The battery compartment is on the base of the scales. Please note the polarity marking. Before using the scales remove the plastic protection.
Positioning the scales
- Please ensure that the scales are in a horizontal position.
Weighing (ON)
- After switching on the scales with the „ON/OFF“-key, „8888“ appears in the display. Please wait until zero appears. Then place the weight onto the scales and read off the weight.
Net weighing (TARE)
- Place an empty container (or the first weight) on the scales and press the „TARE“–key until the zero appears. Fill the container (or place the second weight on the scales).
- Only the additional weight is indicated in the display.
Switch-off (OFF)
- Press the „ON/OFF“-key. Automatic switch-off will occur after approx. 1,5 minutes, if no change of weight occurs in this time.
User calibration
- If necessary the scale can be recalibrated. Switch the scale off, press fi ve times shortly the „ON/OFF“-key and hold it. A numeric value appears. Press again the „ON/OFF“-key.
- First „zero“ appears and then „2000”.
- Put now a calibrating weight of 2 KG on the dish. „PASS“ appears and then „2000“. The scales have been recalibrated.
- Important: the scales must not be exposed to any vibration or draft during the calibration.
Explanation
- Switching on
- After pressing the „ON/OFF“- key all symbols appear. You can check whether all segments are clearly shown on the display. Zero indicates that the scales are ready for operation.
- Negative value
- Press the „TARE“- key once again.
- The indication of the weight is not stable
- If the display shows „unit”, the scale is not placed on a steady surface.
- Overload
- If the weight exceeds the total weighing capacity of the scales, „E “ appears in the display.
- Energy Supply
- If „Lo“ appears on the display, the batteries need to be changed.
This device complies with the requirements of EC Directive 2014/31/EU.
Note: Unusual electromagnetic influences (jammers in the immediate
vicinity) may affect the display value. After the end of the interference
period, the product can be used again as intended. These scales cannot be used
for official metrology.
Precision
- This device corresponds to requirements stipulated in 2014/31/EU. Every scale has been carefully calibrated and controlled during the production process.
- The tolerance is ± 0,5% ± 1 digit (at Temperatures between +5° and +35° C).
- Incorrect display values due to damage attributable to improper handling, mechanical damage, or malfunction are exempt from liability.
- Damages due to faults are also exempt from the guarantee. No liability is accepted for consequential damages or losses by the buyer or the user.
