Product Usage Instructions

Turning the Tablet On and Off

To turn on the tablet:

  1. Press the power button for 3 seconds until the LCD screen turns on.
  2. The tablet can be used when the home screen appears.

To turn off the tablet:

  1. Press and hold the power button until the Device Options menu appears.
  2. Click OK to turn off the tablet.

Turning the Screen On/Off (Sleep Mode)

To turn off the screen:

  1. Press the power button once to turn the screen off.
  2. Press the power button again to turn the screen back on.

To set screen timeout:

  1. Go to Display menu settings to set the screen to turn off automatically when not in use (1-30 minutes).

Home Screen

  • The Home Screen provides quick access to applications and settings.
  • B0ack: View previous operations display.
  • Home: Navigate to the Home Screen.
  • Background: View running applications in the background for better performance.
  • Application Panel: Access all available applications.

FAQ

Q: How do I take a screenshot on the tablet?

A: Press and hold the power button and volume – simultaneously to capture a screenshot. The screenshot will be saved in a photo file.

Q: How can I connect to Wi-Fi?

A: To connect to Wi-Fi, tap Settings, select WLAN or Wi-Fi, turn on Wi- Fi, choose a network, enter the password, and click Connect.

Turning the tablet on and off

Press the power button for 3 seconds until the LCD screen turns on. The tablet can be used when the home screen appears.

Press and hold the power button until the Device Options menu appears. Click “OK” to turn off the tablet.

Turning the screen on/off (sleep mode)

  1. When the tablet is on, you can turn off the screen to save battery power. Press the power button once to turn the screen off. Press the power button again to turn the screen back on.
  2. To save battery power, the screen can be set to turn off automatically when the tablet is not in use (between 1 and 30 minutes). This screen timeout option can be found in the Display menu.

Home Screen

  1. Back: Press this key to view the previous operation display.
  2. Home: Press to go to the Home Screen.
  3. Background: Press this key to view applications running in the background. Existing idle applications may provide better performance.
  4. Application Panel: Press this button to view all available applications.

Screen Lock

Here is the way to set it: Tap – Settings – Security – Screen security – select Screen Lock and then select a pattern from None, Swipe, Pattern, PIN, and Password. You can create a backup PIN as a security measure in case you forget your password.

Press and hold the power button and volume “-” at the same time to take a screenshot. The screenshot will be saved in a photo file.

Applications

  • To start an application, tap the application icon on the home screen or in the launcher, you can tap the icon at the top of the home screen to go to the launcher screen, which is shown below for illustrative purposes only.
  • We reserve the right to modify and improve the final list of applications available on the tablet.

Preinstalled Applications

For your convenience, a number of applications have been installed on your tablet.

These apps include:

  • Browse the web.
  • Perform simple mathematical operations.
  • Take pictures or videos with the camera.
  • Check your e-mail.
  • Play music.

Installation of the application

  • You can also download and install additional applications from the device’s application marketplace, web browser, or other sources.
  • The tablet must be set to allow the installation of applications from non-market sources. The Unknown Sources option can be set in the Application Settings menu.

Notes:

  1. If there are fees for related applications, users shall bear all costs themselves.
  2. The manufacturer/seller is not responsible for applications that are not compatible with the device.
  3. In some cases, the application panel may not have an icon after the application is installed. Possible reasons for this may be that the application is not compatible with your operating system or the downloaded file is corrupted, so you may need to download the full version. If you install and use an operating system that is not supplied by the manufacturer, this may cause your device to malfunction and therefore your device will no longer be covered by the warranty in such cases.

Connect to WIFI

  1. Tap the “Settings” icon to enter the Settings list interface, and then tap to select “WLAN” or “Wi-Fi” to enter the Wi-Fi setting menu.
  2. Flip the switch to turn on the wi-fi function and the system will automati-cally scan the attached wi-fi hotspot signal.
    • Select the wi-fi signal you want to connect to, enter the corresponding password, and click “Connect”.

Setting Up Your Browser

You can use the preinstalled browser or download another browser of your choice. Clicking on the icon in the upper right corner of the browser page opens a sub-menu for more detailed settings.

Navigation

Click on the browser icon to open the browser. You can quickly access the website by entering the URL on the on-screen keyboard. The website has been optimized for viewing on your actual device.

Connecting to Bluetooth devices

  1. Turn on Bluetooth
    • You must pair your device with another device before you can transfer files between them. Under “Settings”, select “Bluetooth”. Tap Bluetooth to “ON” and the Bluetooth indicator will light up in the status bar.
    • It will start searching for available devices nearby. If you need to re-scan, click on the menu in the upper right corner and then click “Refresh”.
  2. Pairing with Bluetooth devices
    • Click on “QZ1095” to pair with the name of an available Bluetooth device. On the target device, you will see the “Bluetooth Pairing Request” dialog box. Click “Pairing” and it will show you the paired devices.

Device reset

  • You can reset your tablet if necessary. For example, if you have forgotten your tablet’s password or PIN, you can reset your tablet. This will erase all information from your tablet and return your device to factory mode.

Warning!

  • If you perform a hard reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted. Please remember to back up all important data before performing a hard reset.

Connect your tablet to a computer to transfer files:

  1. Connect your tablet to the computer. Use the supplied USB cable: Plug the small end of the cable into the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connector on your tablet.
  2. With the tablet connected, slide the USB icon down and tap the USB Connected icon.
  3. Install the storage. Tap the button Transfer Files (MTP) to install the tablet’s built-in storage. Once installed, you can copy files to and from the tablet.
  4. Install Storage. Tap the button Transfer File (MTP) to install the tablet’s built-in storage. After installation, you can copy files to or from the tablet.

Troubleshooting

  1. The device could not turn on.
    • Reboot the device after 10 minutes of charging.
    • If your device is in sleep mode, press the power button briefly to check if it lights up.
    • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
    • If there is a reset button on your actual device, press the reset button with a thumbtack to initiate a hard reset.
  2. The device is not charging.
    • If the device is completely drained, leave the device powered on for 30 minutes.
    • Check and make sure the charger is properly plugged into the charging port.
    • Try another outlet or compatible charger.
  3. An error message appears during the operation.
    • Uninstall the application with the error message and download and install it again. You can also update certain applications that have errors.
    • Delete the system through system reset and clear it to factory mode.
  4. PC cannot detect the device.
    • Make sure your device is “on”.
    • Try using another USB cable.
    • Connecting your device to a different port on the PC
  5. The device cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
    • Ensure that Wi-Fi is set to “ON”.
    • Unplug the Wi-Fi router, wait 2 minutes, and then plug it back in.
    • Select “Show Password” when entering the password to ensure that the correct password is entered.
    • Check to make sure there are no filter settings or device connection restrictions on your device.

    • Forget the original Wi-Fi connection, reset the Wi-Fi router, and reconnect.
  6. Not enough storage space.
    • Delete infrequently used apps to save some space.
    • Clean device cache regularly: Settings–Applications–Click Apps and clear cache or data.
    • Install a third-party system cleaner program.
    • Restore the tablet to factory settings to clear all data.
    • Get an expansion memory card to expand.
