Note: Those marked in front of the module name in the above table are optional parts, which shall be subject to the specific order requirements.

Quick installation

Take out the POS terminal, lithium battery, power adapter, and other necessary parts from the packing box, then follow the steps below for a quick installation.

Install the SIM/ SAM(PSAM) card:

  1. Open the battery cover.
  2. Follow the silkscreen indication and place each of the needed SIM/ SAM cards separately into the right slot following the directions as the picture shows.

Cautions

  1. When installing or removing the SIM/ SAM card, please confirm that the device is power-offed, otherwise the cards may be damaged;
  2. When installing the SIM/ SAM card, the chip faces toward the internal side of the device;
  3. SIM/ SAM cards cannot paste stickers, tags, or other materials that may change the thickness of the card to prevent non-smooth installation or disassembly.

Install and remove the lithium battery

Install the battery:

  1. Open the battery cover;
  2. Insert the plug side of the battery into the battery socket.
  3. Put the battery into the battery container;
  4. Close the battery cover.

Remove the battery:

  1. Open the battery cover after power-off;
  2. Pull off the battery by grasping the line at the plug and pulling it up and off;
  3. Gently remove the battery from the battery container.

Usage and Operation

Power on / Power off / Restart:

  • Power on: press and hold the “Power” key on the keyboard for 2 seconds. When the backlight of the display screen is on, the device is activated.
  • Power off/   Restart: press and hold the “Power” key for 2 seconds. The screen will display options for the “shutdown/contextual model/restart/airplane mode” menu.
  • Press the shutdown” key to complete the shutdown; Press the restart” key to restart the device.
  • Cautions When operating a transaction, the user interface is in the community action status. Please do not turn off your device.

Troubles and Troubleshooting

Cautions for use

  • Unauthorized disassembly of this device will cause the built-in security key to be destroyed resulting in unusable.
  • If the power adapter plug or power cord is damaged, please do not use them in case of electric shock or fire.
  • Please do not touch the power cord with a wet hand or pull out the power adapter like pulling the power cable.
  • Please do not touch the device and power adapter with a wet hand in case of a short circuit, malfunction, or electric shock.
  • Please stop using the power adapter and contact sales representatives for an exchange if the power adapter is caught in the rain, gets wet, or is affected by dampness.
  • The charge must be certified by local regulations and meet the charging specifications of the device.
  • If the device has to connect USB ports, please ensure that the USB ports have USB-IF identification, and its performance is qualified with the USB-IF requirements.

Operating environment

  • Do not use the device during thunderstorms.
  • Otherwise, the device may fail or you could get an electric shock.
  • Avoid putting the terminal in direct sunlight high temperature, moist, or dusty environment
  • Forbid non-professionals to repair the terminal.
  • Before inserting the card, please check the internal and around of the IC card slot when you find some suspicious objects, must report them to a related administrator.
  • A door or cover intended only for occasional use by the ordinary person such as for the installation of accessories, may be removable if an instructional safeguard is provided for correct removal and reinstallation of the door or cover.
  • Do not place the device in a too-cold environment.
  • When the temperature of the device rises, moisture may form inside the device, which may damage the circuit board.
  • When charging the device, the power socket should be near the device and easily accessible. The charging area of the device must be kept away from debris, combustible materials, or chemicals.
  • Please do not disassemble the device without permission. The non-professional operation may damage the device.
  • Do not touch the screen with pens, pencils, or other sharp objects.
  • Do not strike, throw, step on, or subject batteries to severe physical shock.

Accessories requirements

  • Please use manufacturer-authorized batteries, power adapters, and other accessories. Use of unauthorized or incompatible accessories may result in fire, explosion or other hazard.
  • The usage of unauthorized accessories will result in the violation of the warranty provisions or local relevant provisions and may cause safety accidents.
  • To obtain authorized accessories, contact the sales agent or distributor who sold the devices to you.

Charger safety

  • If the power adapter plug or us cable is damaged, do not use it to avoid electric shock or fire.
  • Do not touch the device and power adapter with wet hands to avoid short circuits, device failure, or electric shock,
  • Disconnect the charger from the device and the power socket when the battery is fully charged.
  • Disconnect the power cord when you are not charging the device.
  • Do not charge for a long time unattended.
  • Do not strike, throw, step on, or subject the charger to severe physical shock. If the charger cover is damaged, contact the seller who sold the device to you to get it replaced.

Battery Safety

  • Do not short-circuit batteries, do not let metal objects or other conductive objects be in contact with the battery terminals.
  • Disposal of a battery into a fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result in an explosion.
  • Do not insert foreign bodies into the battery, immerse or expose it to water or other liquids, or expose it to fire, explosion, or another hazard.
  • Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • If there is a battery fluid leakage, avoid contact with eyes or skin. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Do not use damaged batteries.
  • When the standby time gets shorter than normal, please replace the battery.

Environmental protection and resource recovery

  • This product uses lithium batteries. If your country has regulations, be sure to dispose of old batteries in the right places according to the regulations.

Cautions

  • There will be a danger of explosion using the wrong model of battery The battery must be disposed of in accordance with the instructions.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. The end user must follow the specific operating instructions to satisfy RF exposure compliance. The portable device is designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves established by the Federal Communications Commission (USA).
