V66 MiniPOS Terminal The pictures and descriptions in this guide are for
reference only, please prevaillin in kind.
Statement
Please read this guide carefully before using the device to ensure your safety
and correct use of the device. For information about the device configuration,
please refer to the contract or information related to the device and the
seller of the device to you.

functions described in this document are special services provided by network
service providers (ISPs). The availability of these network functions depends
on the ISPs that provide the services to you.

Note: Those marked with “*” in front of the module name in the above table are optional parts, which shall be subject to the specific order requirements.
Quick installation
Take out the POS terminal, lithium battery, the power adapter, and other necessary parts from the packing box, then follow the steps below for a quick installation.

Install the SIM/ SAM(PSAM) card:
Open the battery cover.
Follow the silkscreen indication and place each of the needed SIM/ SAM card separately into the right slot. 【 Cautions 】
• When installing or removing the SIM/ SAM card, please confirm that the device is power-offed, otherwise the cards may be damaged.
• When installing the SIM/ SAM card, the chip faces toward the internal side of the device.
• SIM/ SAM card cannot paste stickers, tags, or other materials that may change the thickness of the card to prevent non-smooth installation or disassembly. -
Install the lithium battery:
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Hold the battery with the label facing upwards and place it in the battery slot in the direction of the contact point between the battery and Host.
3. Close the battery cover.
Usage and Operation

Power on / Power off / Restart:
• Power on: press and hold the “power” key on the keyboard for 3 seconds. When the backlight of the display screen is on, the device is activating.
• Power off/ Restart: press and hold the “power” key for 3 seconds. The screen will display options for “standby/shutdown/restart mode” menu. Press the “shutdown” key to complete the shutdown; Press the “restart” key to restart the device.
[Cautions] When operating a transaction, the user interface is in the communication status. Please do not turn off your device. -
Magstrip card swiping:
When the screen prompts to swipe the card, swipe the card at the magnetic stripe reader, which is available in both directions. [Cautions] • The card must be in parallel contact with the bottom of the card slot during the swiping process, otherwise the data may be read incorrectly.
• Swipe the card at a moderate speed.

Contact IC card:
When the screen prompts to insert the card, place the IC card chip side up and push it into the IC card holder, do not pull the card out during use. [Cautions] • Do not pull out the card while it is being read.
• Do not wrap the card in metal, otherwise it may cause a short circuit.

Contactless card:
When the screen prompts to touch the card, place the contactless card on top of the screen and remove the card after successful reading. [Cautions] • Do not move the card during the card reading process.
• Do not place more than one card in the reading area at the same time, otherwise the card will fail to be read. -
Barcode scanning:
When the screen prompts to scan, point the camera at the barcode or QR code and wait until the device beeps to indicate that the scan is complete. [Cautions] • If the barcode is small, the scanning port should be close to the barcode, while larger barcodes should be kept at a distance from the scanning port, which will help you to identify the barcode more easily.
• If the barcode is highly reflective, you may need to scan at an angle to identify the barcode.

Charge:
Plug the USB into the adapter, when the power adapter is connected to the power supply, the machine will have a charging icon, a full charge takes about 3 hours.
Troubles and Troubleshooing

exhausted and cannot be recharged. Please change the battery.
2. The battery volume is low. Please recharge the battery.
Display screen shows error massage about network or service| 1. The device
may lost the ability of receiving signal when you are in a place where the
signal is weak or reception is bad. Please try to relocate and try it again.
2. Some of the options may not be able to use because of the lack of
reservation. Please contact your service providers for more information.
Touch screen slow or incorrect reaction| If the device has a touch screen, and
the screen reaction is incorrect, please try with the following options:
1. Take off the protective film on the screen because it may prevent the
device recognize input correctly. We do not recommend to use any type of
protective films for touch screens.
2. Please ensure that the screen is clean without greasy dirt. Please keep
fingers dry and clean when touching the screen.
3. Please restart the device to solve any type of temporary software errors.
4. If the screen is scratched or damaged, please contact the agent or
distributor selling the device to you.
Short standby duration| 1. Please turn off some functions for saving power
when do not using them, such as Bluetooth/WiFi/Data service, and etc.
2. Turn off not-in-use applications on the backstage will help to save power.
Cannot find another Bluetooth device| 1. Please ensure that Bluetooth and
wireless functions have been turned on.
2. Please ensure that the connected device has turned on its Bluetooth and
wireless functions.
3. Please ensure that the POS terminal and the connected device are within
the maximum Bluetooth range of 10 meters.
If the problem remains the same, please contact customer service.
Matters need attention
Cautions for use

Unauthorized disassembly of this device will cause the built-in security key to be destroyed resulting in unusable

If the power adapter plug or power cord is damaged, please do not use them in case of electric shock or fire.

Please do not touch power cord with wet hand or pull out the power adapter like pulling power cable.

Please do not touch the device and power adapter with wet hand in case of short circuit, malfunction, or electric shock.

Please stop using the power adapter and contact sales representatives for exchanging if the power adapter is caught in the rain, getting wet, or affected with damp seriously.

The charge must be certified by local regulations and meet the charging specifications of the device.

If the device has to connect USB ports, please ensure that the USB ports has USB-IF identification, and its performance is qualified with the USB-IF requirements.
Operating environment -
Do not use the device during thunderstorms. Otherwise, the device may fail or you could get an electric shock.

Keep the device away from rain, moisture and acid liquids that corrode circuit boards.

Do not store or use the device in dusty or dirty places.
-
Do not store the device at high temperature. High temperature shortens the life of electronic devices.

Do not place the device in a too cold environment. When the temperature of the device rises, moisture may form inside the device, which may damage the circuit board.

Please do not disassemble the device without permission. Non-professional operation may damage the device.

Do not touch the screen with pens, pencils or other sharp objects.

Do not strike, throw, step on, or subject batteries to severe physical shock.
Accessories requirements -
Please use manufacturer-authorized batteries, power adapters and other accessories. Use of unauthorized or incompatible accessories may result in fire, explosion or other hazard.

The usage of unauthorized accessories will result in the violation of the warranty provisions or local relevant provisions, and may cause safety accidents. To obtain authorized accessories, contact the sales agent or distributor who sold the devices to you.
Charger safety -
If the power adapter plug or usb cable is damaged, do not use it to avoid electric shock or fire.

Do not touch the device and power adapter with wet hands to avoid short circuit, device failure or electric shock.

When charging the device, the power socket should be near the device and easily accessible. The charging area of the device must be kept away from debris, combustible materials or chemicals.

Disconnect the charger from the device and the power socket when the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the power cord when you are not charging the device.

Do not charge for a long time unattended.

Do not strike, throw, step on, or subject the charger to severe physical shock. If the charger cover is damaged, contact the seller who sold the device to you to get it replaced.
Battery safety -
Do not short circuit batteries, do not let metal objects or other conductive objects be in contact with the battery terminals.

Do not crush, puncture, dismantle, bend or cut the batteries.

Do not insert foreign bodies into the battery, immerse or expose to water or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or other hazard.

Do not place or store the battery in high temperature environment.

Do not put the battery in water.

If there is a battery fluid leakage, avoid contact with eyes or skin. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Do not use damaged batteries.
When the standby time gets shorter than normal, please replace the battery.
