TOOLS REQUIRED
- Miter Saw or Power Saw (). Be sure to wear a dust mask and appropriate eye protection when using a power miter saw)
- Tape Measure
- ¼” Spacers
- Construction Adhesive
FLUSH STAIR NOSE INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove plastic wrap.
- Cut the molding to required length as necessary with a power miter saw (for the cleanest cut).
- Apply a generous bead of construction adhesive along the clean stair.
- Touch the bottom of the molding to the stair riser and carefully roll the stair into place. Once the molding is in its final position, press down firmly with your hands over the length of the stair nose. Note: The stair nose is not meant to “click” into the floor plank. The stair nose will simply
- lay flush alongside the floor plank. 5. Let adhesive cure to directions. Finishing nails can be used for added security.
T- MOLDING / REDUCER / END CAP GLUE-DOWN INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove plastic wrap and set aside any plastic/metal track to recycle or discard.
- Cut the molding to required length with a power miter saw (for the cleanest cut).
- Allow a ¼” expansion gap on each side of the center mounting foot.
- Apply a scant bead of construction adhesive to the center mounting foot of the molding and gently press molding into place. Let adhesive cure according to directions.
T- MOLDING / REDUCER / END CAP U-TRACK INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove plastic wrap.
- Cut the track and molding to required length with a power miter saw (for the cleanest cut).
- Allow a ¼” expansion gap between each side of the track and adjacent flooring.
- Screw track into place.
- Secure molding into place, starting at one end and pushing down firmly until you reach the opposite end.
