This manual must be observed and handed over to the operator to ensure that the product operates as intended and to comply with the warranty terms.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

The combination of digital level gauge Senso4s and the app is used for the reliable monitoring of gas filling levels in gas cylinders.
The Bluetooth 4.0 connection to mobile devices allows the user to check gas consumption.
Thanks to the flexible, magnetic pull-out feet, the digital level gauge Senso4s suits the different diameters of gas cylinder bases. The weighing elements are integrated into the magnetic feet.
The app for Android and iOS can be downloaded for free in the Google Play Store or in the App Store for your respective operating system.

Notice: For an accurate measurement, the gas cylinder must be placed horizontally with the Senso4s level gauge on solid, level, stable and dry ground and be protected from wind.

Caution: Danger of injury from lifting heavy gas cylinders!
Lifting heavy loads can lead to injuries.

Never lift heavy gas cylinders alone.

You can find the download link for the Senso4s app at www.senso4s.com. The app is available in the App Store and in the Google Play Store.

Moreover, Android devices should run at least Android 5.1 or newer, iOS devices should run at least iOS version 8.2 or newer.

Senso4s app provides the following features:

real time monitoring (filling level), Senso4s device does not store gas level changes lower than 200g; therefore, points on the graph indicate changes larger than or equal to 200g only.

ASSEMBLY

Before assembly, check that the product is complete and has not suffered any damage during transport.

Handling batteries

Warning

Do not use Li-Ion batteries or rechargeable batteries to supply the product with power!
Also make sure that batteries are not damaged in any way.
For the longest battery life, always use new batteries of the same type and brand.
Do not open the battery compartment when an explosive atmosphere is present!
Do not charge the batteries!
Do not open the batteries with force!
Observe the polarity (+/–) of the batteries!
Do not short-circuit the batteries!
Do not expose the batteries to high levels of heat, such as direct sunlight, fire, etc.

Unscrew the battery compartment on the underside, insert new batteries (3 batteries type AAA 1.5V, not included) into the level gauge while observing the polarity “+” and “–”.
Close the battery compartment again.

OPERATION

Operating the feet

Warning: Cardiac pacemakers!

If you have either of these devices, please remain an adequate distance away from magnets.

Caution: Injuring your finger / hand when pushing in the feet!

Can lead to fingers / hands becoming trapped between the moving and fixed parts of the product.

Push in slowly!
- Magnets are integrated into the adjustable feet of the Senso4s, but they only work with steel bottles. With plastic or aluminium bottles, the magnets are ineffective.
- To achieve the rated weighing accuracy, please do not place the product on soft surface such a carpet or rug, sand, soil etc.
Please place the product on a hard, flat horizontal surface.
Before weighing, the accessories should be fitted (regulators, valves, hose lines and tubing, etc.) on a gas cylinder prior placing a gas cylinder or a new gas cylinder on this product.

START-UP

Download the app (for Android or iOS) on your smartphone or tablet (once during initial installation),
switch on Bluetooth and open the app,
connect the app and Senso4s via Bluetooth (0.5m distance once during initial installation),
start the setup wizard,
enter the parameters such as tare and filling weight,
place the gas cylinder with mounted accessories (regulators, valves, hose lines and tubing, etc.) on the adjustable, magnetic feet of the Senso4s,
read measured values in the app,
the app displays the current filling level with a measuring accuracy of ± 1%,
Bluetooth signal range 20m after initial installation.

In order to keep the measuring results accurate, we recommend being as precise as possible when entering the parameters (tare and filling weight) as well as always weighing the gas cylinder with the same accessories.

When placing the gas cylinder on this product, please do not drop the cylinder from a height. Place the gas cylinder cautiously.

Try to lean gas cylinder in one direction, then mount product on the gas cylinder base and finally lean cylinder back in a vertical position.
When there is measurement in progress do not place any foreign object on top of the gas cylinder, since this will yield inaccurate readings. Even do not shake or kick gas cylinder.

Cylinder replacement

Re-start the setup wizard and re-enter (if necessary) the parameters such as tare and filling weight.

Notice: The LPG cylinder must be upright when gas is being withdrawn.

Gas is withdrawn only from the gaseous phase.
The gas cylinder must be secured so that it cannot topple over.
Protect gas cylinders against radiant heat or heat from heating appliances.
Observe the installation regulations in the respective countries.

Warning: Electrostatic discharge!

Electrostatic charging is caused by friction.
Avoid electrostatic discharge.

Do not clean the unit with a dry cloth in the gas bottle locker. Remove from the bottle locker for cleaning.
Fix the gas cylinder on the Senso4s in the gas bottle locker.
Avoid carpet-like surfaces.

Caution: The functions and operating safety of the device are guaranteed only under the climatic conditions that are specified in TECHNICAL DATA. If the device is transported from a cold to a warm environment, condensation may cause the device to malfunction or may even destroy the device. Because of this, you must ensure that the device has acclimatised to the ambient temperature before using it.

REPLACEMENT

Do not open the battery compartment when an explosive atmosphere is present!

Replacing the batteries

Open the battery compartment on the underside, remove the old batteries from the filling level gauge and insert new batteries (3 batteries type AAA 1.5V) while observing the polarity “+” and “–”.
Close the battery compartment again.

Caution: If you have any doubts that the device can be operated safely, do not operate it. Your safety may be adversely affected by the device, if for example:

it is obviously damaged,
it no longer works as specified,
it has been stored in unsuitable conditions a longer time.

If in doubt, send the device to the manufacturer for repair or maintenance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

| App does not download:

Set up the internet connection on the mobile device and try to load the app once again.

Switch on Bluetooth, hold the mobile device very close (max. 0.5m) to Senso4s.

| Bluetooth connection not activated or disrupted:

Set up Bluetooth connection.
Do not exceed the maximum distance of 20m between the mobile device and Senso4s.
Avoid disruptive radiation.

| Wrong parameters entered:

Re-start the setup wizard and re-enter the parameters such as tare and filling weight.

| Batteries are dead:

Insert new batteries, see REPLACEMENT and Handling batteries.

DISPOSAL

To protect the environment, the batteries may not be disposed of along with household waste.
Discharged batteries should be deposited at collection stations or in shops with collection facilities.
To protect the environment, our electrical and electronic appliances may not be disposed of along with household waste.

At the end of its lifespan, each end user is obligated to pass old appliances to a district or area collection point,separate from household waste. This ensures that old appliances are disposed properly and negative effects on the environment are avoided. Discharged batteries should be deposited at collection stations or in shops with collection facilities. Our registration number for the electrical old appliances register (EAR) is: WEEE-Reg.-No. DE 78472800.
