HOW TO USE

This product is for household use only.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Wash grill base, grill, grease tray, and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Important: Do not immerse the temperature control probe in water or any other liquid. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

  2. Assemble the pedestal tube by connecting two halves of the tube. Insert the tapered end of the Upper Pedestal Tube into the top of the Lower Pedestal Tube and screw the Tubes together.

  3. Place the pedestal base on a flat, level surface.

  4. Insert the slotted end of the assembled pedestal tube into the center hole of the pedestal base and push down firmly.

  5. Place the grill base on top of the pedestal tube assembly, ensuring the hole in the center of the grill base engages with the tube.

  6. Place grease tray securely into position inside grill base. When properly placed, it is held firmly with a pointed end in the center of the grill base.

  7. Position the grill securely on the grill base.

  8. Position the probe receptacle through the probe cutout on the top side of the grill base.

  9. Attach the lid handle to the lid from the inside using a rubber-ringed fastener/hook.

  10. Place a lid over the grill. Your grill is now ready to use!

GRILLING OUTDOORS
  1. Turn the temperature control probe to the OFF position and attach it securely to the probe receptacle.

  2. Plug into a standard electrical outlet. Align the desired temperature setting with the indicator light. Place the lid securely on the grill. Allow the grill to preheat to the desired temperature – for approximately 10 minutes.

  3. Carefully remove the lid and place food onto the grill; cover for most foods. Cook until done, turning at least once halfway through cooking time for most food. Adjust the temperature as needed.
Tip: You can control the moisture of foods, to some extent, by opening or closing the lid vent. Turn the lid handle/vent clockwise to open the vent for drier cooking. Turn counterclockwise to hold in moisture for moister meats. Light on the temperature control probe will cycle on and off as the grill thermostat maintains the proper temperature. This is a normal operation.
Note: Condensation may collect on the inside of the lid when cooking.
Important: Use caution when removing the lid.

  4. When finished cooking, turn the temperature control probe to the OFF position. The temperature probe indicator light will go out. Unplug and allow the grill to cool before disassembling and cleaning. See CARE AND CLEANING.

  • Note: The temperature control probe may be turned to setting 1 to keep foods warm for short periods.
  • Note: Use only plastic or wooden utensils on nonstick surfaces.
  • Caution: Grill surfaces are hot during use. Allow the grill, grease tray, lid, and grill base to cool completely before handling and cleaning.
USING INDOORS

To use your grill indoors, simply lift the grill base off the pedestal tube and place it on a heat-resistant surface.

  • Important: Never use the grill without the grill base in place.
  • Caution: Some countertop finishes are more affected by heat than others; make sure the countertop surface can withstand temperatures of 150°F to prevent discoloration or other damage to the countertop surface.

Caution:
To avoid accidental burns, allow your grill to cool completely.

This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.
