Product Usage Instructions
1. Test Mode:
What is test mode?
The floodlight turns on for 5 seconds when it detects a person and then turns off regardless of the time of day or night. In this mode, you can adjust the sensor’s angles and detection distance to achieve your desired sensing range.
How to set test mode?
Adjust the knob to set the desired detection distance. The floodlight will turn on for 5 seconds upon detecting motion.
2. Motion Sensor Mode:
What is motion sensor mode?
The floodlight will turn on when detecting a person, car, or animal, and stay on for a customizable time between 10 seconds to 10 minutes after the object leaves. You can set the lux value to determine when the motion sensor mode activates (sunset, dusk, night, etc.).
How to set motion sensor mode?
Adjust knob 1 to set the light timer duration (10s-10mins) and knob 2 to set the lux value for activation. Ensure the sensor is not pointing towards the TEST position.
3. D2D (Dusk to Dawn) Mode:
What is D2D mode?
The floodlight will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn. In this mode, the motion sensor function is disabled.
How to set D2D mode?
Adjust the knobs to set the desired operation times for turning on at sunset and off at sunrise.
FAQ
- Q: How do I adjust the detection distance for each mode?
- A: Use the corresponding knob (A, B) to adjust the detection distance based on your preferences.
- Q: Can I set different operation times for different modes?
- A: Yes, you can customize the operation times by adjusting the knobs accordingly for each mode.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Knob ① is to start test mode and set the light timer from 10 seconds to 10 minutes (counterclockwise). Knob ② is to set the ambient illuminance detection value(80-2000Lux). When the illuminance is lower than the set Lux value, the light’s motion sensor mode and D2D mode will start to work.
- Knob between “A”, both modes start working at sunset/dusk.
- Knob between “B”, both modes start working at night.
Note: The time may be earlier or later due to weather, altitude, or season
Knob③ is to start D2D mode and set the motion detection distance in motion sensor mode.
- “L” Detection distance is 19.7~26.2ft.
- “M” Detection distance is 26.2~39.3ft.
- “H” Detection distance is 39.3~72ft
Test Mode
What is test mode?
The floodlight turns on for 5 seconds when it detects a person and then turns off no matter the day or night. In this mode you can adjust the sensor’s angles and detection distance to achieve your perfect sensing range.
How to set test mode?
- Step 1: Turn knob ① to the “TEST” position as shown on the left.
- Step 2: Turn knob ③ to the range as shown on the left to set the detection distance (Knob ② can be pointed to any position.).
Note: When using other modes, be sure to exit the test mode (Turn Knob ① counterclockwise away from the “TEST” position.).
Motion Sensor Mode
What is motion sensor mode?
The floodlight will turn on when detecting a person, car, or animal, and
stay on for 10S-10Min after leaving. Then turn off.
Note : Through setting the lux value (knob 2), you can freely choose the
motion sensor mode work time—sunset, dusk, night, or other period you like.
How to set the motion sensor mode?
- Step 1: Turn knob ① to the range as shown on the left to set the light timer (10s-10mins). Do not point to the “TEST” position.
- Step 2: Turn knob ② to the A, B range as shown on the left to adjust the light-up time at sunset, dusk, night or other period you like.
- Step 3: Turn knob ③ to the range as shown on the left to set the detection distance.
Examples:
If you want the floodlight to turn on at dusk for 15 seconds when it detects a person, and in maximum detection distance, then turn off after leaving. You can set the three knobs as shown on the left
Examples:
If you want the floodlight to turn on at night for 10 minutes when it detects a person, and in medium detection distance, then turn off after leaving. You can set the three knobs as shown on the left.
D2D (Dusk to Dawn) Mode
What is D2D mode?
The floodlight will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. In
this mode, the motion sensor function is not valid.
How to set D2D mode?
- Step 1: Turn Knob ① counterclockwise away from the “TEST” position to exit the test mode as shown on the left.
- Step 2: Turn knob ② to the A, B range as shown on the left to adjust the light-up time at sunset, dusk, night or other period you like.
